Round 3: Salty Joe, concerned about the impact of his last shot, misses everything this time! Penumbra steps up next to Rand and attacks the green zombie, hitting it with both of her short swords but releasing the ash puff. (Both Penumbra and Rand must make a DC10 Con Save or have Disadvantage. Holding your breath is a nice attempt to bypass this - but the ash still gets in your eyes and cakes in your nostrils, so when you DO take a breath it could be bad =)Rand also hits the zombie - hard - but it doesn't go down.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
After taking a solid hit to the chest from one of the zombies, Bankur manages to either avoid the attacks completely, or use his shield and armor to mitigate the damage. Most of the attacks hit the shield with a solid "kerplunk" sound.
"My turn!" Bankur says with a grin at the zombie who has been stupidly banging it's fists on Bankur's shield.

This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Bankur's eyes widen and he stumbles a little as the zombie's attack lands solidly on the side of his head. He manages to keep his feet under him and you see a look of clear annoyance cross his face. "Damnable creature! How are you still moving??!!"
Scenario 1: Salty and Penumbra's attacks dropped the remaining zombies: Bankur covers his face with his cloth tunic and breathes a sigh of relief that the immediate danger has passed. Looking very beat up he sinks down to one knee and holds his head in his hands. "That one hurt, my friends." Taking a deep breath (again with his face covered to keep the ash out), Bankur utters a short prayer to Ilmater and a white light surrounds his body, then quickly dissipates. Casting Cure Wounds on myself: 18
Scenario 2: The green or blue zombie is still up: With a frustrated roar Bankur chops at the zombie in front of him with his mace. Attack: 20 Damage: 6. After the attack, Bankur utters a quick prayer to Ilmater and is surrounded by a white light, which quickly dissipates. Casting Healing Word as a 2nd level spell bonus action. 6
Round 4: Salty's careful aim and deliberate breath control pays off...his crossbow bolt hits the zombie's head and it explodes like an over-ripe melon! (Blue zombie destroyed!)Penumbra fights through the now-dull pain in her wings, turning her shock and anger into a frenzy of slashes, dropping the green zombie in front of Rand! (...no way it can pass a DC24 Con save!!) With both of these creatures returned to death, Bankur kneels down and invokes his god's healing power. The group watches in amazement as the gashes and bruises close up and the color returns to his usually pale skin. Rand, no longer facing an imminent threat, does what?
(There are still 2 zombies on the other room, turned by Bankur, for another 30-45 seconds or until it takes damage.)
Rand sees that Bankur is caring for himself and decides to go for the other zombies, figuring that they won't be turned forever. He moves to the door and (if all he sees are the two zombies), he will approach the closest and attempt to separate its head from its shoulders. take a smooth looking practice swing, hoping no one else has made it to the doorway to see it.
Stepping into the doorway, Rand sees only two more zombies. Looking at the four destroyed zombies and these two, he determines that these creatures are former members of the garrison because they still wear the remnants of rusted mail and soldiers’ surcoats. The one black-coated zombie, however, is wearing a much nicer suit of splint mail, practically untouched by the years. (Rand - these zombies are also glowing with faerie fire, so you are still attacking with advantage! Roll again =)
End of Round 4: Rand steps into the room, and seeing only two more zombies, attacks the first one cowering in the corner. His solid hit damages it, but releases the now familiar puff of ash and dust. (Make a DC10 Con Save)The yellow zombie strikes back at the paladin! Attack: 20 Damage: 7 The other one in the nice armor stays in the corner.
Round 5: Salty Joe nails the yellowish zombie with his crossbow, potentially dropping it! (DC14 Con save: 12)Penumbra follows the other two in and (either kills the yellow on once and for all) or (makes two quick cuts on the last remaining zombie, releasing the ash cloud that gets in her face. (Make a DC10 Con Save))
With a much healthier looking greenish tinge restored to his skin (the previous mottled yellow tinge of injury just did not look good), Bankur races into the room to join the battle against the remaining zombies. With a strange battle cry that sounds a little like a drowning cow he engages the remaining zombie, bringing his mace down in a wide overhead swing at the zombies head.
