Elspeth whimpers a little at the blow dealt to her, shaking her head as she gathered her energy for another attempt to attack the warrior, fangs bared.

Another vicious bite onto the neck, pulling away a lot of flesh and leaving the warrior seemingly maddened with rage.
But he's still standing. He's surrounded, and increasingly badly wounded, but shows no sign of giving in. In fact, you almost see a smile cross his face.
She will not reward my failure, but she will punish your blasphemy more, he growls, as he swings his axe once again at Elspeth:
Attack: 17 Damage: 14
Another large slash, but he's looking worse than the wolf at this point.
Nate's dagger chings as it bounces harmlessly on the cavern wall.
Soar's renewed attack gets through the warrior's defenses; her sword penetrates his side, but he seems powered by something inside. He is close to death, but does not falter this time. Tiamat, damn these heretics!

Elspeth growls in equal parts frustration and anger as the warrior continued to hold his ground, aiming for his throat as she lunges forwards, jaw open.
The warrior dodges sluggishly to avoid Nate's strike; and stumbles straight into Elspeth's waiting jaws. This time, she rips his throat out, and he falls, gurgling briefly, onto the floor, dead.
Combat is over. You stand in a large chamber that seems to serve as a sort of shrine, to dragons and perhaps to Tiamat. There is a large statue in the north-east corner, and of course the body of the fallen human and half-dragon lying on the ground. There are three ways out; back the way you entered to the south-west, steps down to the east, and a passage to the north-west.
Jalt makes his way over to Cyanwrath's corpse and drops to his knees. Bahamut, may Cyanwrath find his redemption in the afterlife. Show him the true mercy of your power. He'll then grab Cyanwrath's sword and motion for Soar. Yours was the final blow, the sword should be yours. He'll check Cyanwrath's corpse.

"I was only able to attempt that final blow because of your efforts and help," Soar says to Jalt. "And yours," she says, looking to Nate. "And yours,"looking at the giant spider, with a big smile. "So let's make sure whatever good comes from this, we all share. It might be well-made, it might be magical, it might be just ugly. Whatever it is, it's ours."She will help Jalt search the two corpses in front of them. Then she will look around for any kind of trap, asking Nate or Jalt for help in doing so.
"How's everyone doing? Should we rest here? Or press on? Maybe Cyanwrath was guarding eggs of some kind? I'm just going to look in this doorway over here,"she says, pointing to the east stairway.
Elspeth growls at the corpses, expending the last of her aggression, and paces in front of the eastern passage, remembering the warrior that fled, simultaneously trying her best to discreetly get the blood out of her mouth.
Nate feels he is becoming closer and closer with his new friends with each battle they won. He also feels quite overwhelmed being involved in all of this. Dragon cults, underground shrines, chambers and the like. Then says to Jalt: "Jalt, do you need more healing? Or time to rest? I have this healing potion if you need it." Nate will give it to Jalt if he wants it.
Nate will retrieve all of this throwing daggers.
Then looks to Soar after helping her with her search for traps "I am ok for now. Perhaps the eggs are indeed close by. You sure are handy with that Longsword!!"
He then follows directly behind the huge Dire Wolf that is Elspeth, marveling at her recent throat extraction of the dead warrior just moments before, towards the eastern passage, flame lit if need be to see.
Elspeth and Nate, as you approach the top of the steps down to the east, you see part of a large cavern - your light or darkvision will not allow you to see the far side. But you definitely see figures moving around. As you are not being stealthy, they have probably seen you, though they make no move to attack as yet.
Soar, you don't find any traps. You do find an open wooden chest at the base of the statue, but it's empty. You don't find anything else of interest in the room; the dragon imagery is consistent but not remarkable, and your attention wanders as you think of the potential dangers that might lurk down the unexplored passages to the north-west and east.
There is no specific mark on the sword to mark it as Cyanwrath's, but it is an unusual design and rather distinctive. Anyone who knew Cyanwrath or served in the higher ranks of the cult with him would likely recognise it as his.
Jalt will keep the sword then and will brandish it as a sign of the party having defeated Cyanwrath if/when they encounter more of the cultists and guards.

Jalt, you see the warrior's eyes tighten with effort - he feels your spell but manages to shrug off the effects.

Nate's been taking in WolfElspeth's ferociousness since she morphed. And he's liking it.
Nate'll chuck another throwing dagger, this time at the warrior. Attack: 7 Damage: 5
"Stop hitting my friends!" Soar replies with a big stab of her sword.
Attack: 25 Damage: 10
If that hits and is needed, she'll add in a smite, with 13 radiant damage.

Cyanwrath's greatsword and spear are just regular weapons, though well-made. You don't find anything else of interest on him or the dead warrior.
Soar, make a Perception check as you look around for traps, with advantage as Nate or Jalt are helping.

(OOC sorry Elspeth for saying you're a spider instead of a direwolf! Force of habit.)

Is there anything to distinguish the sword as Cyanwrath's?
