Soar also readies an eldritch blast for anything hostile that comes into view. She moves to the west, peering between the two trees to the north, looking for anything she can spot, and listening/smelling for more clues.
The spiders pop into this plane, right next to Jalt and Soar.
Soar, you can make your readied attack with Eldritch Blast, but both are at disadvantage because there's an enemy close to you. Let's take those two rolls to be the first blast; it's a hit. Please roll a new attack at disadvantage for the second blast.
Phase Spiders B and C both take Spirit Guardians damage, so Jalt please give me a fresh damage roll.
Spiders A and B attack Soar: Attack: 20 Damage: 5 Attack: 24 Damage: 16

Four more giant spiders scuttle in your direction, firing off their web attacks: Spider D at Soar: 7 Spider E at Jalt: 6 Spider F at Bazavur: 23 Spider G at Tangle: 24

I think Bazavur and Tangle are both caught in the webs. You are both restrained.
A strange-looking black spider crawls along at the rear of the attacking group. Large clusters of strange red crystals pulsate from its body, and it rears on its legs and casts a spell. A dagger made of dull light forms itself from the air, directly to the side of Soar, and attacks:
It attacks too quickly, before it is fully formed on this plane, and while it seems like it might hit, it just passes harmlessly through her body. This time.
I don't want to move on to the next round just yet, as we've got a lot to resolve. Here's the map as it stands:
Jalt's CON save to avoid Poison damage is a fail, so he takes a total of 26 damage, 16 poison and 10 piercing. That makes the DC on the concentration check 13, so he succeeds and Spirit Guardians remains up.
Yes, Tangle gets one shot in before the web gets her. And it's a hit. I think it would get sneak attack from proximity to Soar, so I'll add the damage.
Looks like everything is done. So...
Round Eight Tangle and Bazavur (both restrained) Soar and Jalt Phase Spiders Giant Spiders Black Spider
At a glance, she doesn't see anything, no.
Jalt is still up.
SG ROLL: 19
Jalt will take a swipe at the spider1....Attack: 18 Damage: 9
Hoard of the Dragon Queen - Jalt Rhogar - Dragonborn Cleric (9)
"Ive heard it both ways."
The weapon attack wounds the spider, but the flying dragons finish it off.
4 15 15
There are no enemies in sight. But something seems to be coming...
Tangle and Bazavur are up.

Tangle will move up to where Candelabra is, and settle behind a tree trunk with an arrow ready, looking north.
Move: to Candelabra, try to get partial cover from a tree trunk?
Action: Ready an arrow for if something snarly and terrible shows up.
ey/em/eirs, or they/them works, too (just not he).
Role-playing since that keep on those borderlands. I love it so.
Bazavur moves over towards Tangle. "What do you hear?" he asks.
Jalt and Soar are up.
Soar also readies an eldritch blast for anything hostile that comes into view. She moves to the west, peering between the two trees to the north, looking for anything she can spot, and listening/smelling for more clues.
Perception: 10
Readied blasts:
Blast 1: 17 Damage: 14
Blast 2: 11 Damage: 13
Shield of faith is still up
Trying those rolls again, because they're showing up as stat rolls for me:
Perception: 5
Readied blasts:
Blast 1: 16 Damage: 6
Blast 2: 15 Damage: 8
Jalt will cast Cure Wounds from the Staff of Healing at 2nd lvl for 7 and will wait
Hoard of the Dragon Queen - Jalt Rhogar - Dragonborn Cleric (9)
"Ive heard it both ways."
Soar keeps a lookout.
Jalt casts a spell.

Spiders A and B attack Soar:
Attack: 20 Damage: 5
Attack: 24 Damage: 16
I think those both miss, with Shield of Faith still up.
Phase Spider C attacks Jalt:
Attack: 15 Damage: 9
That hits I think, so Jalt takes 10 points of piercing damage and give me a CON save, DC 11, take 16 poison damage on a fail, half on a success.
Four more giant spiders scuttle in your direction, firing off their web attacks:
Spider D at Soar: 7
Spider E at Jalt: 6
Spider F at Bazavur: 23
Spider G at Tangle: 24

Soar blast 2 disadvantage:
Attack: 10 Damage: 12
SG damage: 12
CON Save to hold spell: Attack: 11 Damage: 0
CON Save for poison damage: 19
Hoard of the Dragon Queen - Jalt Rhogar - Dragonborn Cleric (9)
"Ive heard it both ways."
Tangle’s Readied arrow at Phase Spider A (before restraint, I hope/assume): Attack: 14 Damage: 8
(I am also assuming no Adv thus no sneak? If sneak is allowed because nearby enemy or something, add 20 to a hit.)
ey/em/eirs, or they/them works, too (just not he).
Role-playing since that keep on those borderlands. I love it so.
Soar's second Eldritch Blast misses.
Jalt's CON save to avoid Poison damage is a fail, so he takes a total of 26 damage, 16 poison and 10 piercing. That makes the DC on the concentration check 13, so he succeeds and Spirit Guardians remains up.

Round Eight
Tangle and Bazavur (both restrained)
Soar and Jalt
Phase Spiders
Giant Spiders
Black Spider
Tangle and Bazavur are up.
Tangle draws her saber in a swift (but restrained) move, cutting herself free. Then she cunningly dashes SE 30’, yes, leaving Bazavur to his fate.
ey/em/eirs, or they/them works, too (just not he).
Role-playing since that keep on those borderlands. I love it so.
