Tangle jukes around the cultists reach, and races for the far side of the island, drawing n arrow as she goes. She stops and draws on the dragon, aiming for a weakness she spotted earlier, guided by the shimmering remains of Jalt's guided bolt. She glances behind her at the cultist leader and turns to face him, crouching low.
Bonus Action: Cunning Action Disengage Move: As close to the dragon as she can get in 30' Action: Shoot dragon with normal arrow, with Advantage and thus Elven Accuracy and Sneak Damage, in game log.
27 (crit!) to hit for 34 damage (lame! that was 10d6+3, ugh.)
Reaction: reserved for getting out of the way of damage

ey/em/eirs, or they/them works, too (just not he). Role-playing since that keep on those borderlands. I love it so.
Tangle manages to spin away from one attack, and almost gets out of the way of the other, taking a shallow gash (3 hp) but the poison courses through her body (5 hp, for a total of 8 hp damage).

This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Bazavur watches as Jalt gets struck down by the dragon. Not having anyway to get to him without running past four cultists. Bazavur lets out a rage filled battle cry and presses the attack on the closest cultist. His wounds mounting and stinging as he does so. (reckless attack. Attacks against me have adv.)
Cultist 1 takes 20 points of damage, and is badly wounded but still in the fight.
And Cultists 1 and 2 hit back at Bazavur. They hit three time, two criticals. First hit is 6 slashing and 1 poison. Second hit is 8 slashing and 6 poison. Third hit is 9 slashing and 9 poison. I make that a total of 19 damage, and Bazavur is down.
Soar steps forward, standing over Jalt. She peers up at the dragon, blood in her eyes. "Fighting against tyrants. My favorite thing."
She swings Hazirawn at the dragon cross-wise, but the huge blade doesn't make a mark on the thick scales. (12 rolled in the game log)
Closing her eyes, she thinks of her god, and with a wordless prayer, she swings up at the dragon's neck, feeling it connect, believing, smiting (1st level smite), hoping, praying that it is enough.
Attack: 27 Damage: 9 slashing 10 necrotic from Hazirawn 6 radiant from smite 3 necrotic from hex = 28 total
The dragon downs Soar, and flies around to land behind Bazavur to make its last attack. 22 to hit, 4 damage. Bazavur falls to the ground, and the dragon turns to look at the last survivor, Tangle.
Tangle spares her assailant no attention, except to duck under his weapons and dive into the water, wading/swimming directly across and coming ashore near the cultists. On firm ground she turns, drawing an arrow as she goes, and makes eye contact with the dragon as she calmly draws the string back to her ear. "Sér sí rámalóce," she whispers, and looses.
Bonus Action: Cunning Action Disengage Move: NW across the water, then also on land, such that she stays out of melee range of C4. Action: Shoot dragon with arrow, with Sneak Damage from Insightful Fighting (still going, it lasts 1 minute), in game log
13 or 21 to hit, for 20 piercing damage
Reaction: reserved for Uncanny Dodge or Evasion, depending.
Two more cultists crowd in around Tangle, and make their attacks. Three hit I think: 25 against AC, for 7 piercing and 3 poison damage 25 against AC, for 5 piercing and 6 poison damage 21 against AC, for 4 piercing and 5 poison damage

The arrow zips out, and sinks into the dragon's belly, doing a lot of damage.
Cultists 4 and 5 focus their attacks on Soar:
Scimitar Attack: 24 Damage: 8 slashing plus 5 poison damage.
Scimitar Attack: 21 Damage: 6 slashing plus 6 poison damage.
Scimitar Attack: 11 Damage: 9 slashing plus 4 poison damage.
Scimitar Attack: 20 Damage: 6 slashing plus 3 poison damage.
I make that 9 points of damage against Soar.
Round Six:
Cultist Leader
Bazavur
Cultists 1-2
Jalt (unconscious) and Soar
Dragon
Tangle
Cultists 4 and 5
The Cultist leader follows Tangle, shortsword ready to attack from behind
Attack: 8 Damage: 5 piercing plus 5 poison damage.
Attack: 11 Damage: 7 piercing plus 9 poison damage.
Not sure how much damage that is - let me know! :)

Bazavur is up. The dragon is still on the ground, but some distance away from him.
Tangle manages to spin away from one attack, and almost gets out of the way of the other, taking a shallow gash (3 hp) but the poison courses through her body (5 hp, for a total of 8 hp damage).

attack: 25 dmg: 4+4+5
attack: 21 dmg: 1+4+5
(Rerolled using avrae. 14 and 20 to hit. 10 damage on each attack)

It's a powerful blow. You feel the life drain away from the dragon, drawn into Hazirawn as he feeds. Almost all the dragon's life...
but not quite all. Not quite enough.
The dragon retaliates against Soar.
Bite attack: 24 to hit, 19 piercing damage plus 9 poison.
Claw attack: 31 to hit (crit), 18 slashing damage.
The dragon downs Soar, and flies around to land behind Bazavur to make its last attack. 22 to hit, 4 damage. Bazavur falls to the ground, and the dragon turns to look at the last survivor, Tangle.

(One Save success from Jalt)
Tangle is up.

C4 and C5 move in to attack Tangle. Only one hits, with 19 against AC for 9 points of piercing damage and 3 of poison damage.
Round Seven:
Cultist Leader
Bazavur (unconscious)
Cultists 1-2
Jalt (unconscious) and Soar (unconscious)
Dragon
Tangle
Cultists 4 and 5
The cultist leader mutters a word and takes to the air, flying over the water to land behind Tangle, but does not attack this turn.
Bazavur, give me a death saving throw.
Death save: 6 (rolled using avrae)
Two more cultists crowd in around Tangle, and make their attacks. Three hit I think:
25 against AC, for 7 piercing and 3 poison damage
25 against AC, for 5 piercing and 6 poison damage
21 against AC, for 4 piercing and 5 poison damage
Tangle is down, I believe.
Jalt and Soar, give me death saves.
Tangle collapses in a spiteful heap. (she took 26 hp and had 13)
