If that all hit, we've got 35 damage on the first hit and 11 for the second. Ogre makes a WIS 15 saving throw vs being frightened of Soar (disadvantage on rolls while she's in line of sight, and it can't move toward her).
Both attacks hit. Everyone in the area feels the power of the first blow radiating out, even through it's hard to say exactly what that power is - there's no light, but it feels as if there had been a flash of light that made it hard to see the ogre at all. Ogre 3 is badly hurt.... but still standing.
Ogre 3 WIS save: 11 Yeah, ogres aren't wise. The creature is visibly frightened.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Nate feels the violent smash from the ogre and tries to regain his balance. He then sees a blur of light and then realizes its Soar to the rescue, yet again. He's able to get his bearings during Soar's attack, and then cast Infestation on the Ogre 3 in an attempt to have the little bugs eat the ogre's face to finish it. CON save 15, damage 9 direction 4
Nate would then cast a bonus Healing Word on himself, trying to heal the would that was just dealt to him. (level 1) 5
The ogre takes the full force of the spell, and the bugs have a very nice dinner - but the ogre is still on its feet. It's blocked from moving west, so it stays where it is.
[Morning all. Game face is on. (MaxandDad, feel free to send me an alternative token for Nub, using this or any other tool: http://rolladvantage.com/tokenstamp/) The one you have is making me smile, though if it is breaking immersion for others I’ll update it]
Nub pulls a bit of tallow, a pinch of brimstone, and a dusting of powdered iron out of his component pouch and mutters “Woodbine remissible”, clapping his hands together and summoning a Flaming Sphere, taking up a 5ft cube in between Ogre 3 and Ogre 4.
Nub casts it at 3rdlevel, so both ogres need to roll DEX14 saves or take 6 damage (half damage if they make their save).
(Okay, I'm looking through the description for Flaming Sphere. It doesn't appear to do damage when you cast it, only when you ram it into a creature (using your bonus action, which you can do this turn) or when the creature ends its turn within five feet of it. So...)
The flaming sphere appears, a boiling, twisting mass of flame above Ogre 4, and Nub smashes it down towards Ogre 3. DEX save: 19
The flame hits the ogre and begins to burn. It smacks its free hand to put the flame out, and it seems to work, but then the flames reignite. It drops its club and pats at its burning shoulder with both hands, but now the hands catch fire. And then in a flash the whole body is aflame, and the ogre sinks howling to the ground. This all takes place extremely quickly, and only a few seconds later the ogre lies dead.
(Soar left it at 13, Nate took it down to 3, and Nub took the last of it. That was a great team effort. :) )

[Yes, apologies, I need to read spell descriptions better.]
Jalt feels the brunt of the great club and manages to avoid the second hit. He realizes he might be in a tough spot now, raises his shield and yells Smite sia irlym!!! He casts Guiding Bolt at level 2 towards ogre 1 Attack: 26 Damage: 30
After this invoking war priest again he raises his war pick and will attack again (if down he’ll attack ogre 2) Attack: 16 Damage: 5
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
The guiding bolt hits, and hurts the ogre a lot. But it's still up.
(Jalt can't use the war priest feature I'm afraid, because he didn't take the attack action, he cast a spell - which is not the same. You still have a bonus action if you want to do something else with it.)
Ogre 3 is dead.
Ogre 4 lumbers towards Nate, and swings its greatclub:
Attack: 24 Damage: 11
Thud! as the greatclub hits the dirt, missing Nate completely. The ogre stops, unaware that the glowing sphere of fire poses a threat, and then the burst of fire hits it: DEX save 8
That's a fail. Nub, you can make a fresh roll for damage.
Nub on his turn: As a bonus action slams the flaming sphere into Ogre 4, 9 (DEX14 for half damage)
On his action, he says ignem terrae and makes a twisting motion with his claws, Creating a Bonfire underneath where Ogre 4 stands and it takes another 3 fire damage if it fails a DEX14 save when I cast it and again if it doesn't move away next turn (and yes, I'm trying to set it up for opportunity attacks).
Soar draws her new sword and races forward, casting wrathful smite as a bonus action.
"That's not very nice. I'd encourage you to move along to find easier prey."
She loops around just behind Ogre 3 to its flank and the sword flashes in the sun twice, aiming high for some vitals.
(Assuming advantage as she tries to flank the huge ogre.)
Attack: 26 Damage: 13
Extra Attack: 17 Damage: 11
6 psychic damage on first hit
16 radiant damage on first hit with a second level smite added in
If that all hit, we've got 35 damage on the first hit and 11 for the second. Ogre makes a WIS 15 saving throw vs being frightened of Soar (disadvantage on rolls while she's in line of sight, and it can't move toward her).

Oof, terrible roll.

Ogre 1 and Ogre 2 have a nice convenient dragonborn nearby, ready to be smashed to death. Two massive greatclubs rise in the air:
Attack: 7 Damage: 13
Attack: 25 Damage: 7
They both hit, and Jalt is looking rough, his shiny armour now with a big dent in the front. One strike hits, the other misses. The travellers mostly just run. The one near the wagon tries to help the one pinned under the wagon:
3
But fails. They both remain close and in danger from the nearest ogre.
[Yes, apologies, I need to read spell descriptions better.]
Round Two
Guard 1 and 2
Jalt
Ogre 4
Soar, Nate and Nub (in any order)
Ogre 1 and 2
Travellers
The two guards are facing towards Jalt and their attention is on the two ogres attacking him. They both fire arrows at Ogre 2:
Attack: 12 Damage: 4
Attack: 23 Damage: 7
Two more arrows sink into ogre flesh, wounding Ogre 2 a little.
Jalt is up.
(No worries, just explaining how I was applying the spell in case it was confusing otherwise.)
(Jalt’s a/c is 19 now with the splint only one hits ;) )
Hoard of the Dragon Queen - Jalt Rhogar - Dragonborn Cleric (9)
"Ive heard it both ways."
You're right! Thanks for picking that up.

Burning sphere of doom roll (hoping better than last time): 7
Nub on his turn: As a bonus action slams the flaming sphere into Ogre 4, 9 (DEX14 for half damage)

Movement: Nub moves 20ft left and 5 ft up.
(OOC: Are you letting Flaming Sphere drop after this turn? Both it and Create Bonfire are concentration spells.)
