Kazri sheaths her sword and puts down her shield. She casts Speak with Animals. “We mean you no harm. Please allow me to heal you.” Kazri will try to get closer in a non threatening way and use her Lay on Hands on the beast.

The griffon remains wary as Kazri approaches and does not allow her to get close. Kazri casts her spell but it doesn't seem to do anything as she is unable to speak to the Griffon.
Seeing at least the immediate battle over and done with, Rhogar picked up the pace just enough to be within easy speaking distance to the others. But then, remembering the fallen giant, he whispers something in draconic to a Ghorar. The two share a nod, and before long Rhogar -- with Ghorar still on his shoulders -- hustles over to see if the Giant might've been carrying anything of useful on its all too likely smelly person.
For what curious and at least mild concern they had for the griffon, the trust in the rest of the party in 'handling' the situation overwrote at least the latter.

"I hope ya feel better there Mr. Griffon" Chip would say as he offers a healing word to the creature. He would then stand back with his companions and pluck at his lute strings.. trying to play a calming melody while the creature eats its meal.
The griffon, watching the group carefully, keeps its distance as you back up. When Chip casts his spell on it the creature flexes its wings for a moment and tries to fly again. Finding new strength in its wings, but still not wholly healed, it launches into the air. Its flight isn't great and it doesn't soar by any means but it is able to get away.
Rhogar, meanwhile, plugging his nose approaches the dead giant. It does indeed stink. A large leather sack is found near the body of the giant and Rhogar looks through the contents. He pulls out a giant sized necklace made of bones, an uprooted berry bush with some berries still on it with several more loose berries at the bottom of the bag. He also finds a haunch of meat, a dented steel shield and 2 white dragon scales. There is also a smattering of loose coins adding up to 230 silver pieces and 90 gold pieces.

Chill comes down from his spot and approaches as the griffon flies off.
"I see you healed it. At least enough that it has a chance to live and fight another day. And one less giant bothering travelers. I wonder if it has a cave nearby?"
Chill looks around to see what might be found, climbing some of the lower ledges hoping to find a cave.
Climbing up the western ridge a short ways Chill does indeed find a shallow cave. It isn't very deep but tall enough that the giant could have bent down to enter and exit. Carefully checking it out Chill finds it unoccupied. The stench of unwashed giant and animal fur fills the small cave. There are some scattered armor and weapons, rusted, pitted and all useless and worthless. Bones and other assorted garbage litters the floor. In the corner though Chill does find a couple interesting things and gathering them up he is able to bring them down to the rest of the party.
"At least now, he will be able to fly." says Krom as the griffon flies off "I hope that the giant's cave is near here, we could use a shelter from this cold wind."
As soon as Ghorar spots the berry bush with all its goodies, cold or not, she dives for them ready to fill her gullet to the max. While that is going on, Rhogar held the 2 white dragon scales, and stared at length. "... Not good enough, but close." He mutters to himself. Then if the scales weren't too cumbersome, stuffed inside his back. Of the coin, however, he gathers up, and while chewing on the haunch of meat, returns to the others meaning to pass off the coin to Krom or Kazri to handle holding on to or dividing up for later.
"I see our friend has flown the coop. Unfortunate, but at least we have the wolf we can harvest... Assuming we find that giant's cave."
As Chill returns from the giant's cave, Krom says "So the cave was not too far.", the dwarf then notices the jug and the lantern. "Have you found us some ale to drink so that we can shrug off this cold Chill?"
"We should still have a few more hours of daylight if we wish to press on. As Rhogar just said, at least the giant's cave may serve us as fall back point if we do not find a better shelter for the night. It will not be a pleasant rest considering the stench, but it may serve us as protection. Not many beasts will willingly enter it."
"Wonderful Chill! Wonderful!" replies Krom looking at the jug "We will find out tonight when we make camp then. Since the cave was so horrid, shall we press on then?" Krom readies himself for the next leg of their travel.
"What curious things." Rhogar admits, staring at the jug and lantern. "Frankly I am surprised neither weren't crushed by the giant rolling over on to it." He admits with a chuckle. "But in any case, I am of agreement of pressing on forward. While I could use the breather to restore some of my reserves, it is.. it shouldn't be necessary just yet. So, let's carry on." The dragonborn lofts a brow ridge. "Unless of course you would like to take the time to Identify those trinkets to see if they at least might be useful... assuming, of course, they hold any magic at all."

Rekuberk watches th griffon fly off and crosses, the idea of taming the beast as a mount crossing his mind as he watched it fly away. He shakes the thoughts away though as talk of camp starts. "If the cave out of the question then perhaps we should keep an eye out for another shelter of some sort. I would rather we find something defensive then staying out in the open."
“I agree with Mr. Onc. We should not stay in the open with a dragon so close.” Kazri scans the sky for any signs of the white dragon.
(Kazri could use a long rest to restore spell slots.)

"I will examine those items as soon as we will make camp, Rhogar. Let's travel at least a couple of hours before resting." says Krom preparing himself to move. "I agree with our lad, it may be wise to search for some kind of shelter as we proceed."
Rhogar simply held up his hands in a placating gesture, and just gives Krom a 'Just saying, always an option to stop early' sort of look. It melts soon after into a toothy grin, and withotu another word, he made ready to continue the march. Though if either Rekuberk, Chip, or Kazri still seemed focused on the sky instead of moving, a much more tubby Ghorar by their face to get their attention, before then zooming over and into the comforts of Rhogar's hood to nap off the meal.
"Certainly won't find one standing around here aside from the giant's cave. So, let's pick up the pace, shall we?" Rhogar called back over the shoulder.
