Erro will cheer as the Whisperer is smote from this side of the material plane (after warily scanning the rest of the surrounding jungle for more). He will give Tempest a pat on the back and attempt a cultural handshake that there would be no way that Tempest would know.
”Right then! You’re in charge of fighting the shadow monsters. Leave the corporeal beasts to us.”
Erro will make sure the fires have enough wood before drifting back to sleep, not wanting to take any chances.
Tempest and Rawk lead the party through the jungle. Even after the first hour of walking, you can see a difference. The morning sun seems increasingly muted, as if there were fog or some other obstruction (though there is nothing visible). The shadows become stronger, darker and more pronounced and the atmosphere becomes ever more oppressive, the sounds and sights of the normal jungle become increasingly rare. Occasionally you might spot a small animal moving furtively in the trees, notably keeping to as much light as it can. But the place begins to feel empty. The trees and vegetation start to look more sickly as they desperately try and eek as much light as the can from the increasingly gloom covered sun above.
You start running into clear signs of patrols - paths beaten through the jungle. Erro seems disoriented by the strange aspect of the jungle, struggling to catch these signs of danger in time. But Tymora seems to be with you, and you never run into anything directly. After a while you would notice there were two types of trail - one clearly made by at least somewhat skilled hunters, but these all seem to be days old. There are other tracks too, some of these recently made which appear chaotic and unskilled - as if a group had just smashed their way through whatever was in their path.
As the hours pass on the gloom thickens until the sun appears weak and distant, and you all notice a chill in the air. The shadows seems to ooze all around, almost to you minds seeming to confidently and hungrily try and reach for you. (In game terms you are now in dim light). You are all taken back to those grim days when the whole world was plunged into this half gloom, where crops failed and people starved as Dendar clouded the sun. The terrain starts to change as well, a series of undulating valley folds that grow deeper and steeper as you make progress. Rawk would know this was a clear sign you are approaching your destination. She would notice clear landmarks - a great stone here, a brook cascading down a jumble of white rocks there and leads you unerringly towards Dom-Sorn.
Finally, ahead of you from the gloom you see jagged steep hills rising above the forest, and you all hear the sound of the see and the sound of water crashing on rocks. In a few hundred feet you would arrive at the northern part of the great cliff that forms Dom-Sorn's northern crescent.
You can't see that far yet, but from where you have tried to come out you think there is a narrow gorge with the sea at the bottom then the cliff on the other side
"We should move quietly from here don't you think?" Tempest suggests. He knew they were close, and knew that emotions could begin to cloud their judgement and lead to a mistake.
Ellis had woken up that morning, thankful for the rest before they had moved on in their journey. He really did not like all these shadows, but knew that it meant they were getting closer to their destination. Finally he could hear the sea and the water crashing on the rocks, just needing to scale that before hearing Tempest. "Yes, we should. Are we going to scale the cliff like we had planned?" Ellis then whispered back to him and everyone else.
“What a dreadful, terrible place. Somehow we managed to evade the patrols and sentries so far in this half-light, thank Tymora. We should make all haste. I don’t want to attract any attention by lighting a fire here, but at night, light a fire we shall! Better it be after we have passed their perimeter defenses.”
If you guys want to move forward quietly and explore, can I have stealth and perception checks from everyone (if sending a scout, it is just them that need to make the rolls!)
Feeling optimistic about the time, Erro will suggest that someone join him in taking a lookout, if anyone wishes (in game terms, anyone who has Stealth).
Erro will specifically look for a good place to cross and make an ascent, and more specifically try to spot any enemies or signs of enemies.
Survival for finding a crossing: 16 Disadvantage roll for the above post’s perception since it is dim lighting; I forgot: 19
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Ellis agrees that they should hurry, waiting to light a fire until it is night. Then he had heard Erro suggest that someone join him in taking a lookout, thinking as he wanted to be helpful. So he would join Erro, trying to be as quiet as possible and looking out for anything which is not easy with all these shadows around either, still scared of them after his encounter with the shadows.
Tempest will agree and stay with Rawk moving very slowly forward behind the scouting group. "You think they'll be alright?" Tempest asks looking over to Rawk after about ten minutes has passed.
"They seem to be able to handle themselves pretty well. I just hope they have some good news for us." Rawk chirps quietly. She doesn't like the slow pace of walking. Her small short legs hinder her compared to her natural ability to fly. For every two steps Tempest takes Rawk takes three small quick steps in succession. This puts her slightly in front of him so she pauses for a half second and resumes their awkward cadence as they follow behind at a crawl. On and on it goes this catch-up style of walking.
As Tempest says that, he hears a loud crack in the jungle ahead as Ellis steps on a rotten branch, breaking it in two. The sound seems to reverberate around the quiet jungle to your tense and worried ears.

"Thanks for trying Tempest. let's get some rest. We have a lot to do in the morning." Rawk says after Tempest expends his spell.
The rest of the night passes uneventfully, and as dawn brakes you are relived to have got through the night. But you know that Dom-Sorn grows closer.
So as before, all your usual checks: Nature /Survival for navigation, is anyone scouting / stealthing etc?
Random encounter roll: 10
Do you like my Boots of Flying?
Erro will return to his role scouting out potentially dangerous areas/situations.
Stealth: 16
Rawk will assist Tempest in navigating to the cursed city.
Survival: 23 if adv from Rawk: 7
Tempest would follow Rawk's suggestions closely and do his best to keep the group on track.
((Good roll!!))

What are you guys going to do?

(Do we have a water crossing to attempt or just cliff climbing?)

If selected to go as a scout:
Stealth: 22. Perception : 11.
Erro will offer himself to go forward and have a look, though he ultimately recommends moving along so as to cross before nightfall.
(DM, how close are we to what we think should be night?)
You are early afternoon, so have quite a bit of time
