You head northeast for about 30 minutes and quickly find the edge of the lake. The lake itself is enormous, stretching out for miles and miles to the north appearing more like an ocean than a lake. Only the length of jungle to the west reassures you of this fact. The lake is relatively calm, with slow periodic waves that lap at the shoreline. A pebbled shoreline stretches out in front of you creating a 30-60 foot gap between jungle and the lake. A mile or so to the east the lake seems to disappear behind the jungle where the southeastern leg branches out into the two rivers.
You follow along the shoreline occasionally exiting the jungle edge to avoid patches of thick underbrush. The travel is slow and boring but you are making progress. As you near the bend in the lake you step out on the shoreline to avoid a briar patch and hear a soft high pitched hoot hoot from the jungle to the southeast. A second later you hear a similar hoot hoot from further east.
Erro, Robyn and Ellis- you catch a glance of a bipedal creature nimbly bounding through the bushes to the southeast.
Everyone- About 40 feet east near the edge of the jungle you see a pair of tall bipedal creatures standing roughly 9 feet tall with short stubby arms and long muscular tail. A yelow, green stripe starts above each eye and stretches to the back of the skull and down each side to the tip of the tail. The two creatures cock their head curiously at you and exchange a series of hoots before both release a sort of hissing scream. A large colorful frill pops up around their heads and a split second later you see their necks lean back and flick forward.
Attack on Erro: 18 Damage: 1 (bludgeoning) 6 (poison) If it hits, DC15 Con save or be blinded.
Attack on Rawk: 9 Damage: 1 (bludgeoning) 9 (poison) if it hits, DC15 Con save or be blinded.
Elia steps closer to creatures and begins waving her staff in a circular motion. You watch as a small storm cloud materializes above the two creatures Elia stops her motion and slams the staff into the ground. A lightning bolt drops in a flash of light from the cloud and impacts the ground between the creatures. The northern creature jumps to the side while the bolt arcs directly impacting the southern creature causing it to howl in pain.
Erro yelps as he just ducks behind his shield in time to avoid getting sprayed with the face with the caustic spittle which seems to sizzle on the surface of the shield. "Nope; don't like that!" Erro charges the creatures and is awestruck as the lightning bolt impacts one of the beasts. He rushes into melee range of this one and attacks with his sword, casting Hunter's Mark before attacking.

Rawk will dodge the glob of mucus and draw her sword looking back to Ellis, "Protect him and watch the jungle." then she rages and flies towards the northern creature slashing at it with her sword. (she'll try to get on the eastern side of it if she has enough movement.)
Ellis sees a creature going through the bushes to the southeast before seeing the two to the east as Erro and Elia attacked them. He nods back, hearing Rawk and nodding back as he moves up 5 feet next to Tahvo. "Stay behind me Tahvo." he told the little boy, standing in front of him. Then he casts Faerie Fire at the two creatures to try to help out. "Be careful, there's another one in the bushes to the southeast." Ellis warns everyone so they can be prepared for fighting another enemy possibly.
Movement: 5 feet up next to Tahvo
Action: Cast Faerie Fire to affect only the two creatures (15 DEX Save or outlined in blue light and advantage on attacks against them)
Bonus Action: Mantle of Inspiration on Rawk, Erro, Elia, and Darion to give 8 temp HP and can immediately use their reactions to move up to their speed without provoking opportunity attacks
Erro rushes forward lashing out at the less injured beast cutting two large gashes into the beast's side. It recoils from the pain and releases a low snarl. Rawk comes to Erro's aide flying in behind the same beast. It watches her intently and ducks below her blade the first time but is unable to dodge the 2nd. Blood drips from the wounds caused by Erro and Rawk as a sudden magical mist seems to coagulate in the air. The creatures twist and cock their heads confused as small globules of arcane energy cling to their skin and illuminate their outlines.
(Attack rolls against the creatures now have advantage.)
Darion glances at the scene, he hears Ellis's warning and swears under his breath "Oh now they can spit can they?" he adds to himself.
He then raises his wand and does a complicating twisting pattern with it, and the air around the two creatures shimmers with light as he casts Hypnotic Pattern, aiming to catch both creatures but avoid Erro and Rawk. They must make a Wisdom save vs a DC of 15. As he sees the creatures attention caught by the lights, he reaches into the weave of possibilities and pulls on a strand. He will use portent to make the furthers (undamaged) creatures to roll a 2.
He will call out "Be careful of breaking the enchantment! Harming them will rouse them! If you attack one, make sure you co-ordinate all your attacks before it has a chance to recover!"
If both creatures fail, he would also add "That will last around a minute - perhaps we should take care of the other first?"
Wis: 148 (Forgot you used portent for one. That hypnotic pattern is paying off so far!)
Darion begins waving his wand creating a latticework of arcane runes in the air above his hand. With a flick of his wrist the arcane runes false and a large area around the two creatures begins dancing with glowing arcane runes. The two creatures quickly shift their focus and begins tracking the runes before collapsing to the ground. Further east you hear the sounds of footfalls and a third creature appearing nearly identical to the first two exits from the jungle onto the shore. It cocks its head at the sight of the commotion and sees the two fallen creatures and your group and stands completely still as if frozen in time before dashing back into the jungle.
Elia looks to the group and says, "Let's attack the northern one first." and will hold Produce Flame for a coordinated attack.
(Currently Northern dilophosaurus has taken 55 damage and southern has taken 24 damage.)

Ellis watches as the two creatures fell from Darion's spell, the third appearing only to run back into the jungle. He was relieved, hearing Elia as he nodded but knew that he didn't have any means of attacking other than a cantrip since he didn't want to leave Tahvo alone. So he would prepare to cast Vicious Mockery on the northern one as well.
Hold: Vicious Mockery on the northern one (15 WIS Save or take 5 psychic damage and disadvantage on next attack roll it makes)

(lol at the 'NOPE' from the 3rd dinosaur! Darion might not be having fun but I certainly am!)
As Darion sees the other beast wander from the trees edge, then make an abrupt exit he yells "Shoo! That's right! Shoo!" to encourage it, reflecting that what works with cats might not be so effective with these creatures.
He then turns his attention to the fight. Once he sees that Erro has attacked he will release a magic missile at the northern / more badly wounded one, Damage: 12. (I'm presuming he can go after Erro has attacked in the normal course of initiative.)
He will ask Robyn to keep an eye on the jungle and see if there are anymore creatures she can see. Robyn perception: 14
In a coordinated effort you each unleash your own unique attacks against the northern dilophosaur who gyrates from all of the simultaneous attacks. An orb of fire splashes across the beast's face while arcane darts impact into the chest and abdomen. The creature winces from Ellis' insult as Erro slices into it's skin. The charred, battered, insulted and bleeding creature looks up into Erro's eyes as he brings his blade down with his second attack onto it's neck, ending it's pain forever.
The southern dilophosaur remains motionless it's eyes following the rhythmic movement of the arcane runes around it, seemingly unaware of the danger around it as Rawk moves.
Rawk watches closely the third dinosaur as it exits the jungle then runs away. She turns to see Erro's finishing blow and flies over towards the last remaining dinosaur and raises her sword then looks to the group and nods.
(Ellis would choose the shoreline as well.)
