Erro wouldn’t have anything else to add, though he may occasionally butt in to enhance the narrative with some dramatic details. He might also add that the slavers that were partnered with the Yuan-ti had also been struck a blow. He wondered if they had established a presence on a lake so large.
Arion and the others listen tentatively and exchange glances as Rawk and Darion speak. "You managed not only to escape the yuan-ti temple but to conquer the Lingering Shadow? I... I must confess these stories seem amazing, nearly too amazing. Elia can this be true?" Arion says looking questioningly at Elia who nods and explains reaffirms Darion's claims. She talks about the return of Kanush and even being able to save Tahvo who could also confirm their escape from the temple. "We have come to ask a great favor that will be of mutual benefit to us all. You have heard the tales of these accomplished warriors. They have emboldened us and it is our hope they will also encourage you to join our fight against the yuan-ti. To destroy their temple and slay them all including Fenthasa." Elia says gesturing to each of you then bows to Ellis should he wish to speak.
Ellis would have listened to Arion, politely introducing himself and helping with telling of all the events that have happened from the temple to Dom-Gar and the Lingering Shadow. He nodded back as Elia hoped that they all would encourage Arion and the others to join in the fight, stepping forward. "Yes, we really could use all the help that we can get. We may have been able to escape, but we surely can not defeat Fenthasa and the yuan-ti alone. Too many people have died and suffered because of them, so we must stop them once and for all. Who knows how many more victims are still being killed or made to suffer as slaves right now, from the old to the young like Tahvo. I don't want more people to suffer and die because of these yuan-ti, wishing to go back to the peaceful world we had before these yuan-ti took over. So please, help us fight against the yuan-ti." Ellis then would say to Arion and the others, passionate and really wanting their help. He wants the world to be a happy and peaceful place again, to go back to his home and his mother living a happy life like before.
The council of elders exchange glances, nods and murmurs before Arion holds up her hand and the others go silent. She looks at each of the member of the council silently gauging their support or disapproval and turns back to the group. "You have done us a great service in returning one of our own to us. We are grateful for this gesture of good faith. We are a proud people, who live in a dangerous part of the jungle. While the yuan-ti are less of a threat to us than to Dom-gar we recognize their impact on the area. Without the aid of Dom-gar Kainui would fall victim to the atrocities of yuan-ti and slavers... Now it is our turn to reciprocate the gesture. We will unite with you in this cause. We only ask in return that the spoils of war be distributed evenly amongst all. The council will announce it to the village tonight as we celebrate the return of Tahvo. My only fear is that our combined strength will not be enough to stand against that of the yuan-ti." she says standing to her feet. Each of the council members follow along and then they each bow humbly before you. "We would be honored to fight alongside such brave warriors. We will need some time to prepare once we inform the village. When do you expect us?"
“The village elders at Dom-Gar told us “We expect the both parties to take no more than 25 days but no less than 17.“
”We’ve been trodding through the jungle close to a week. I would suppose we would have a little over two weeks to prepare and make our way to battle?”
Upon thinking back, Erro would also remember the new poisons that the Yuan-ti were said to have. Perhaps it would be best to omit this information for the moment. (I also totally missed that bit about “Rex” from the barkeep!) Erro thinks, surely the beat that nearly killed him was this “Rex.” Surely they didn’t come any bigger... surely.
((apologies for horrible mobile phone formatting))
"So there is another group traveling to other villages? How many do you plan on contacting?" Arion asks intrigued by this new information. Elia pipes in and adds, "Each group is visitng two villages. Ours is responsible for Kainui and Doom-Ryn. The other group, Dom-Eko and Gnavi. We hope to rally the support of all four villages in the fight against the yuan-ti. We are equally honored to have you join our cause. If you will permit us, we'd like to stay the night to recuperate and head out to Dom-Ryn in the morning."
Darion leans forward, "If we can get all of these other villages working together, there might not be a better time to strike at the Yuan-ti. Their civil war has weakened them, how much we don't know - but Fenthasa will not yet have had a chance to consolidate her power. They will not be able to call on the Lingering Shaodow for aid, either." he smiles grimly "If we are lucky, they will have lost more of their kind finding out that Dom-Sorn is now populated by mindless zombies, not thralls to their dark gods."
He sits back again, hating being in the limelight so much. He will glance around at the others "But a rest overnight in your village would be much appreciated, as Elia says!"
Ellis was so thankful as Arion and the council agreed to help them, glad. "Thank you so much. Yes, rest would be really helpful." he would say, bowing back and smiling.
Arion smiles as she replies, "I find great comfort in the hope of a collective effort from other villages. I will see to it that your have a place to rest comfortably. For now, celebrate with us the return of a life though lost." she nods to two of the elders who exit the teepee and head towards the large structure where your belongings are. Arion leads you out of the teepee and directs you to a collection of people who are beginning to light a bonfire while others set out stumps from trees on the gravely shore. You notice as you exit the teepee that some time has passed in your conversation and the sun is beginning to set. You can just make out the brightest stars on the eastern horizon and feel the cool breeze off the lake. Your noses pick up the delicious scents of food being cooked on the smaller fires scattered around the larger bonfire and see arrangements of clay pots containing various liquids. "I will join you shortly. Enjoy the food and fellowship while I am away." Arion says and heads off to another part of the village.
You are now free to walk amongst the village and/ or head towards the party.
Darion perks up at the thought of food "It'll be good to eat some proper food - no offence Elia! Perhaps even a drink - first round is on me!" he says cheerfully. He would use prestidigitation to clean himself up as he walks, and heads to the feast. He would be reserved, not being stand-offish, but not diving in to being social either. Depending on how things are set up, he will get drinks for everybody, preferring to sit quietly and observe for a bit with his companions (if they don't come he would happily sit with villagers, exchanging the minimum of pleasantries to be polite). Robyn would come and fly down on to his shoulder.
"Hey girl - you wanting to pretend eat again?" he asks her, blowing on her tummy. Robyn would (after having her tummy tickled) give him a 'look', and with a hacking cough throw up the mostly-rotten but undigested food from several days ago. Darion hastily buries in the ground with his foot "You know, I don't think real birds can do that - at least, I'm sure I read that somewhere!" he comments. Robyn gives him a surprised look, and gives an interrogative squawk.
"No, dear," Darion laughs gently "The other end!" Robyn looks positively alarmed at this idea, and cranes her head to pear under her body at her rear. In as much as she could do, there is a look of disturbed surprise on her face, and she screeches again.
"Yup, that's pretty much how we all do it. Don't ask me why, ask the gods!" Darion comments. Rawk perches on his lap mostly, looking contemplative. When food is offered or given, Darion will feed her a few bits which she eats with a pensive, distracted look.
If Ellis is nearby, Darion will chat with him, asking about his home and mum, genuinely curious. If Erro joins them, and when Darion is suitably tipsy he asks "So, can you show me how to do that voice projection thing?" he will ask, and then insist at practicing it at the table. If Rawk is around, he will also ask her if their are any of her kind that live in this village or the next one they are going to.
Finally, if he sees Tahvo and his parents at all, Darion will go over and talk to them, wishing Tahvo well and encouraging him to continue asking Tymora for guidance. To Tahvo's parents, he will give a brief account of their travels, emphasising Tahvo's bravery in difficult times.
He will, through this, be interested in people watching, trying to spot anything interesting, or threatening.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Rawk would immediately head towards the festivities and jump in anytime there was a dance. She'd tend to play with the kids rather than adults since she still connected with them more in personality and stature. After eating a bit more fish and some dancing she'd awkwardly try sitting on a stump trying to blend in. Her avian body type did little to assist her in sitting normally so after a few minutes of trying she'd simply perch atop the stump and tuck her wings in hiding her legs and appearing as a bird more than a human.
She'd admire the relationship Darion had with Robyn and chuckle to herself at their interaction when she caught sight of it. When Darion spoke to her she'd think to herself for a moment and say, "I know there are more of us out there, but from what my dad says, our kind tends to stick to their own and stay away from others. I would like to meet more aarakocra in the future to invite them to Dom-gar. I think they would like it there, especially with all the trees. I'm not very familiar with Dom-ryn. From what I know we trade with them but typically through Kainui since it lies between both villages." (Thanks Xtra for the info)

Ellis would join in the festivities along with the others, eating the food and talking with the other villagers happily while enjoying the music. He would also speak with Tahvo, wishing him well and to be a good boy for his parents. When Darion asks about his home and his mother, he will talk about her and their life back home, how poor they and the town were which made him want to perform to earn money for them. But even after getting enough money to save the town, he enjoyed performing and kept doing it until he got kidnapped by the yuan-ti.
