Calling out to Berrus, Snively says, "We've got to disrupt the Hag's concentration to stop the ritual!" as he focuses on the 'unlit' Zombies to their left flank. Swirling his hands together, the Professor summons the essence of fire into a ball directly behind the clump of zombies on the left. Bumping it into one of them, he attempts to burn it as well as any of its comrades unable to move away from it.
Flaming Sphere does 8 Fire Damage, DC 14 Dexterity Save for Half; any creature ending its turn adjacent to the Flaming Sphere also must make the save and take the damage (half on a save).
OOC: That takes care of move and bonus actions, Snively will move a bit further into the room, say between the shield bearer walls and behind Berrus to get a better view of what is going on--he wouldn't be able to see the Hag even if she weren't hiding with all this tallshanks in the way...
Some of the zombies utter moans as they are singed, but what seems almost worse is the general lack of reaction from most of them. The flaming sphere manages to burn several more of the maggots crawling on the floor as well, reducing the two swarms further.
The last group of zombies is about to approach, when you hear the hag hiss a command in an unknown language, and instead of charging straight at the flaming sphere, they remain where they are. One of them starts grabbing a loose piece of rock, and hurling it at the shield wall, and soon the other four follow suit, pelting the formation with rocks. Two hit at shields and the Professor is able to deflect a third, but with one of the shield bearers feeling the maggots burrow into his ski, he is preoccupied and struck in the head by one of the rocks. The last one flies over the shield wall and strikes one of the grung.
The remaining monkeys try to gang up on three raging lizardfolk renders, and though all three of the renders are wounded, one of them tears a monkey in half, and the other manages to break another one's spine with a powerful bite. The remaining seven monkeys retreat out of range of the raging lizardfolk, but still intent on slaying more of their kind. Still full of rage, Falx props up his crossbow, and lets fly at one of the monkeys, striking it in its left hind leg.

As their attackers pressed on all sides, and stationed in the centre of it all, Shae could start to feel claustrophobia creeping in. The literal heat of battle, the hags shadows gnawing at her core, the taunting of her chants and the innocent blood being spilled at her feet. Shae will face her back to the wall and plant her feet firmly, grounding herself. It’d stop the feeling of the walls closing in on her.
With zombies to her left, and monkeys to her right and being much too far to throw Torchstalk safely, the warlock would steady her thoughts to channel Kam’s celestial energy. Shae would take a deep steady breath as she’d feel the power swell within her. Clutching her tomb, she’d speak in a clear melodic tune, “Hwe el sunm co si sa cuth.”
Familiar to some, but not others, a radiant wave of energy with burst from Shae, washing over the battlefield striking foes within her field of vision.
As Shae's words of radiance wash across the nearby enemies, several of the grung seem to take hope in seeing such powerful abilities on display. Pivoting to the right, Berrus slams his shield right into the leg of one of the zombies to the right. His blow audibly cracks some of the brittle bones, and the zombie staggers back and into the flames, before his shattered tibia can no longer support him and he collapses onto the flames, smothering most of them. As the zombie slowly burns to death over the fire, another swarm of maggots bursts forth, trying to get away. Several of them are starting to climb up on Berrus.
Next to him, the affected lizardfolk is writhing in pain, as the worms have dug deep into his flesh. Having dropped his shield and weapon, the warrior is thrashing on the ground, screaming out for someone to help him. The remaining shield bearer turns his back towards Berrus, and shoves a zombie on the left back into the Professor's flaming sphere, before attempting to stamp out some of the maggots. Although she gets about a quarter of them, the maggots start to climb up upon her as well, with several having found the gash across her thing and burrowing there.
At the back of the formation, one of the shield bearers is stepping back from the formation and pushing up towards Berrus and the front, following Berrus' lead and smashing the legs of another zombie to the right, but leaving more maggots in their wake. The other two shield bearers are breaking formation to help their kin, still engaged in violent battle with the viscious monkeys. One of them manages to get a monkey square on with his club, breaking both its hind legs and spine, and leaving it crippled on the ground. The remaining six monkeys all attack the most wounded of the renders however, determined to bring it down. Although another one of the monkeys is killed in the attempt, the remaining five overwhelm the lizardfolk render, and tear it to bits.
Inside the cave, several of the grung elites see the gap created by Berrus and the other lizardfolk shieldbearers, and with their powerful lunges jump in between the remaining zombies to slash and stab at them using their poisoned daggers. To everyone's surprise and relief, the poisonous daggers and the grung's naturally poisonous skin proved an effective protection agains the maggots, most of which died upon trying to burrow into the grung warrior's unprotected flesh. Seeing the breach created by the grung, several of the travelers hack and slash their way through, pushing over the dead zombie on the ground to head into the right side of the cavern.
On the left however, the remaining zombies crawl and stumble forward, and all five start to claw and bite at the struggling lizardfolk shield bearer on the ground. Some of the grung warriors try their best to keep the zombies of him, but even when they sever limbs, the rest keeps on going and still claws and bites at the helpless lizardfolk underneath. Realising that he wasn't going to make it, the lizardfolk started fighting with tooth and claw, biting and slashing into the zombies, fully risking more of the burrowing maggots. Though dying, he takes two zombies with him, reducing them to only two legs, and a completely mauled upper body. With half a swarm of maggots inside of him though, he continues to writhe in pain for a few more seconds, when he seizes and collapses, as the maggots have reached his heart.
The triumphant feeling of having broken through on the right hand side is quickly undercut by the shuffling nightmare that emerges out of a right hand corridor. Likely the early attempts at reanimating the dead in this crypt, the shuffling mound of flesh seems like it is stitched together from various bodies, with size being the ultimate objective. Seeing Bertrand on the right side of the cave, the flesh mound slams into Bertrand with full force, knocking him to the ground and pinning him underneath. Similarly, another flesh construct emerges out of a left hand corridor, in among the last group of zombies.
Seeing the undead about to break through on the left, one of the lizardfolk hunters grabs the abandoned shield and slams it down repeatedly as hard as possible on the skull and the hands of one of the crawling zombies, until both are turned to mush. The grung archers, seeing the large flesh mound and the stone throwing zombies to the left, start to pepper both with arrows- though landing several solid hits, neither the zombies nor the flesh mounds seem particularly bothered by the arrows.
At this point, you see the hag emerge from behind the stalagmites, and return to the centre of the summoning circle, still chanting.

With the dying heroics of the lizardfolk shieldbearer to his left and the quick action of his brother to take up the shield combining with the continuing damage to the maggots and zombies the Flaming Sphere caused by sizzling at their backs the whole round, Snively decides to redirect the Flaming Sphere into the midst of the rock-throwing zombies up ahead to the left, rolling it directly against the one in the middle so that it scorches the others if they don't move away quickly.
Seeing the hag once again at the center of the summoning circle, the Professor pulls out one of his silver-coated rocks the group prepared before, then groans realizing there are too many obstacles in the way. Instead he carefully selects a regular rock on the ground behind the Hag, then magically flings it at her, praying it disrupts her concentration!
After the attack, he yells, "Hit her with silver if you can!"

Observing both the left and right flank, Fang notices that the frogs aren’t affected by the zombies maggots. He calls out to his kin on the shield line facing the zombies “get ready to switch with the frog people. The maggots don’t hurt them.” He then calls out to glasses, “Tell the frog people to take lizardfolk places with shields facing the zombies, but keep line formed.” In the fury of battle he intends the first dialogue to be in his native tongue and the second to be in his rough common, but it all comes out in Draconic.
Having heard glasses call to take action against the hag Fang implores the group “Are there any silver tipped arrows?” Looking to the odd assortment of four he was introduced to hours before.
Still waiting on Nemo to answer my question. But wanted to get this posted for rp purposes since Fang doesn’t have any silvered weapons.
OOC: Several of the party have some silvered weapons, but I think with our limited supply of silver Berrus made mostly arrowheads/bolt tips, a dagger or two, and a few silvered sling bullets or rocks.
The Professor translates briefly in the chaos of battle, “Grung fight maggot zombies,” Fang can see a silvered smooth stone is in his hand, but he hasn’t done anything with it yet, seeming to have been more focused on spellcasting this past turn.

Maxine sets the trampled and crawling zombies on the left on fire, turning the rest of them and the maggot swarms spewing forth into cinders. Looking to Bertrand however, he wasn't doing so well, and she tried the best to give him encouragement and get him to stick in the fight for a little while longer. At her imploring, he tears open his eyes, and realises he's still pinned beneath a massive flesh construct trying to smother him to death.
The Professor, seeing the right cleared, but estimating the way to be longer, intends to open a pathway on the left as well, to enable a pincer manouvre against the hag's spell circle. The rock throwing zombies are slow, and get caught fully by the flaming sphere. Although far away from it, the flesh construct to the left seems to shuffle back, as if it was afraid of fire. Noting it for later, he shifts his attention on the hag, and flings a large pebble straight at her. The pebble strikes the hag right in the head, and she simply disappears. Unsure as to what happened, it takes the Professor a while to realise that he'd been fooled by an illusory duplicate of the hag's intended to protect her a while longer from ranged attacks. If she wasn't in the summoning circle though, where was she?
At the behest of Fang, several of the shield bearers filed back, letting the grung elitest take their place as they slashed their way through the remaining zombies, clearing a path for you. Although another grung goes down, being clawed and bitten to death, the rest of the grung and a berserking Brax cut down most of the remaining zombies. Only one zombie remains standing on the left, his arm having been sliced off and crawling towards his attackers, still intent on clawing at them. To the right, the zombies are burnt or hacked to pieces, and only the flesh construct remains. To the left however, the zombies in the group near the stalagmites shy away from the flaming sphere, before grabbing more rocks and hurling them towards you. Since you're changing formation, most of the shields aren't ready, and only Berrus manages to block one of the incoming projectiles, with Fang and the Professor both being struck with rocks. The last two hit a grung and a lizardfolk warrior, with the grung going unconscious.
The remaining furballs, shocked at the vicious mauling received by the liazardfolk renders, withdraw completely, leaving two wounded lizardfolk renders among the bloody remains of their battle with the monkeys. Both scream after the creatures, before catching a breath and heading into the cave, for more bloodletting.

Peering around to the east side, and remaining behind it as much as possible looks for the hag.

Shae knew her focus should be on pinpointing the hag with the Professor, but she could not allow for the unnecessary bloodshed either. She'd choose to continue to support their front-liners as they were making progress on thinning out the pack. Witnessing Bertrand's struggles and Maxine's efforts to help him hang in there, the warlock will focus her attention on the beast that's smothering him. Come on, common, come on... gritting her teeth Shae will hurl a beam of crackling energy towards the golem crushing their loyal team member.
Moving deftly up to the stalagmites, Fang's trained eyes scour the cave for any sign of the hag. Not seeing her though, he throws the net over the four rock throwing zombies, hoping to hinder their further attacks.
Shae focusses all her fears and anxieties and all the darkness and negativity in her, and directs it directly at the large flesh construct pinning their friend. To her surprise, the flesh construct who up until now seemed to wade through blades and arrows completely unimpeded screamed a low and gutteral scream, amplified even further by the cave. Looking to make out the source of the scream, its eyes focus on Shae, and it slowly starts to lumber towards her, leaving a wounded but alive Bertrand on the floor behind.
You all shudder though, as you see the red light of the ritual go brighter. You flinch as you hear a horrible ripping sound and a choir of screams, as if the gates to Pandemonium itself where open now.
Berrus, you are up!

Precision Attack (Special)
When you make a weapon attack roll, you can expend one superiority die to add it to the roll before or after the roll but before any effects are applied.
Attack: 10 Damage: 9 + 1 superiority die for attack roll 5
Berrus, you charge at the large and lumbering creature, and your swing connects, your silvered axe leaving a deep gash as you cut through the trachae and shatter the left collarbone. Though the creature grimaces, as if it felt your attack, it doesn't seem to be as bothered by the attack as you would have expected.
With the main zombie threat dealt with, several of the shield bearers now charge after Berrus, to try and deal with the flesh mountain to the right, trusting the grung elites to take care of the remaining zombies to the left. Though they have no problems landing blows against the giant stitched together creature, their blows seem to do little if anything at all against the hulking mass of the creature. Although most of them are seasoned veterans, you see their morale drop as they realise that they have no way to hurt this thing.
The grung elites meanwhile charge after Fang to help him make short work of the remaining zombie stuck in the mud pool, and any maggots that emerged.
Seeing that her shieldbearing brethren struggle to do anything against the flesh mountain, one of the lizardfolk shamans produces a small ball of fire in their hand and hurls it at the flesh creature. The ball connects, and the construct screams in agony and staggers a few feet back, seemingly afraid of the fire. With newfound confidence, another shaman follows suit, but his flaming ball misses and strikes the cave wall next to the creature. As no more flaming balls follow though, the creature focusses on Berrus, and slams both hands with full force down onto his stout frame. Surprisingly though, Berrus is not only able to block the blow, but to remain firmly planted on the ground. Frustrated, the creature then tries to stomp Berrus, but he rolls to the side, further frustrating the colossus.
The other flesh construct on the left, having noticed Fang approach, takes care to step around the flaming sphere, until it is face to face with the lizardfolk hunter. Slow and lumbering, it tries to strike directly at Fang, but he is able to duck under the punch, which is strong enough to send splinters of rock raining to the ground. Angry, it follows up with a sweeping strike of its other arm, catching Fang across the jaw, and nearly breaking it. Fang has to do everything possible to remain standing upright.
The grung archers meanwhile take aim at the zombies trapped under Fang's net, and let fly at them, pinning two to the ground.
By now, the red light of the ritual seems to be pulsing, as if powered by some sort of sick heartbeat. At first you hear one, than two beats. Then you see two large curved horns poke through the rift, followed by a horrible red-skinned and scarred face, with eyes like glowing embers. Almost like she is pulling the fabric of reality apart with her long clawed hands, the first of the sisters of the hag steps through onto your plane, giving off a hideous laughter in the process.

Riposte: When a creature misses you with a melee attack, you can use your reaction and expend one superiority die to make a melee weapon attack against it (add the superiority die to the attack’s damage roll on hit).
Landing next to the large creature, Berrus slashes at the back of the creature's leg, cutting deep. Again though, the reaction of the creature seems to be less than expected.

15 vs 15 and 22 vs 15 for 7 and 9 bludgeoning damage.
Shae, you're up! Fang, if you want to do something with those arrows tossed to you, go for it.

Seeing both flanks making forward progress and remembering glasses plea to disrupt the hag’s ritual. Fang deftly edges by the puddle of mud(band reference not intended) and moves up against the stalagmite south of the summoning circle. Peering around to the east side, and remaining behind it as much as possible looks for the hag.
hoping the dice smile upon my craziness.
Perception w/ disadvantage:7
If I detect the hag I will I point one long scaly ginger at her “You’re mine!” I say in draconic (hunters mark bonus action) then I’ll knock and loose one of the silver tipped arrows as quick as possible.
Longbow:2(using sharpshooter to add +10 damage so bonus is only +1)
Damage: 18
Failing that, I’ll grab my net and attempt to throw it over the remaining rock throwing zombies.
Eldritch Blast Attack: 16 Damage: 7
(XD Here's to hoping for advantage for maybe flanking? 8 )
just an unstable unicorn.

Maxine, Fang and Prof, you're up!

Landing next to the large creature, Berrus slashes at the back of the creature's leg, cutting deep. Again though, the reaction of the creature seems to be less than expected.
