Shae would take a pause from harvesting when the Professor would come find her, presenting his notes. Her eyes would dart side to side as she'd take a quick scan over his findings, nodding along. "Yes. I had wondered if it was. We could definitely take some time to review in the evening with Kam, when my communication is strongest with him." Her eyes break from his pages to pan the crew preparing for the day. "Let's prepare for a safe and healthy day." The warlock's eyes would glance skyward to contemplate, "Should I scout our route?" She'd also want to prepare for what kind of weather they could be expecting for the day.
"Given the colossal bird that started this whole mess, I'd advise skirting the treetops and not getting too high unless you are sure there are no airborne predators nearby," suggests the Professor at Shae's suggestion. "Still it would be good to plot a route which gives that buried city a wide berth and gets us over navigable terrain to Refuge Bay," he continues. "As much as I would like to investigate the forgotten city, the safety of the crew comes first, as Maxine reminded me. I'll have the horn identified by the time you two are...done gathering berries," Snively finishes with a small smile.
Indeed, by the time the berry-pickers return to camp, the Professor has the horn identified and returns it to Berrus. Seeing Fang return as well with some meat for breakfast, Glasses takes the opportunity to use the mirror to show him the history of the needle dagger. The kindness of the Grung hosts with the celebration last night and the supplies this morning, not to mention the help against the hag, fills Bro'fessor with gratitude, and he spends time speaking with many of the tribe, thanking them individually for their contributions. Giving Gruk a low bow, he spends a few minutes privately speaking with the new chieftain, congratulating, thanking, and wishing him well.
After pulling together all his supplies and performing the Floating Disk ritual to help carry their heavier supplies over the rough terrain, Snively waits for the others to say their goodbyes and show their readiness to move on.

Fang after returning from his morning hunt. Would go over to each of his companions and see how they were feeling from the merriment of the night before. He doesn't fully understand the point of such things. Mainly because he feels he could have/should have done better than he did. Missing the shots that he did. In his mind there isn't any reason for it.
While speaking with each person he offers them each a berry from one of his pouches. "This may not help with the headache, but you won't need to eat as much today during our travels."
casting goodberry, assuming it gives ten berries, RAW doesn't specify how to determine how many I get.
During his conversation with Glasses he would listen intently as the gnome relays the information from the mirror about the needle/dagger. After offering him the berry and getting the history of the dagger Fang will ask, "So, what is your intended destination now? It seemed like there may have been some interest in a lost city but I got the sense that's not where we are headed first."
Not being entirely sure of the villages location relative to each other and Refuge Bay.
If Palebank isn't on the way, Fang would ask Mushu to return to the village and let his broodmates know of his departure and to retrieve his special book.
If Palebank is on the way, Fang will simply stop on the way, say his goodbyes and grab his book on the way.
Fang would convey what he recalled last night of local ruins with Rings, "Don't know if these ruins have anything to do with your people, but it couldn't hurt to check. … On second thought it might, but I'll be with you every step of the way … just a hundred feet or so behind you." He then cracks his mouth in what he believes is a smile, though it comes off as more of a menacing sneer.
While meeting with Shae, (assuming her map is out) he will help fill in the map as best he can with his knowledge of the area and even point out on the map where he saw the ruins he mentioned to Rings (assuming that's possible).
Having finished conversing with his new companions, Fang would walk around to the survivors and offer the remaining sweetberries he has to any of the crew who would like one until they are all gone.
Shae would nod at the Professor's suggestion. She had considered that the airspace above could be a whole different ecosystem of it's own. She'd also be alone out there. It's not as if any of the others could fly... "Perhaps Fang could provide some guidance on my flight." The warlock would nod along agreeing with Snively, agreeing to work to plot the best route. Though as he'd finish with the slight pause and smile, Shae's cheeks would go slightly pink. The warlock will reach for her tomb and present it to the Professor, "Please feel free to study Kam and I's tomb. I trust it's safe in your hands Professor." The tomb would feel surprisingly light in his hands and radiated with her and Kam's magic. With a shy smile, she'd excuse herself to go back to really picking berries.
The medic would return to Berrus to make sure he was still on track picking the right berries. She'd point out that they didn't have medical properties, but they were sweet on the tongue and would be good to snack on and add to their rations. Feeling satisfied that they've picked and snacked on enough of what they picked, they would return in time for Fang's return from hunting.
Shae would offer Fang a smile and an excitable wave when he'd wander back into the camp. Although she snacked enough on the berries they picked, she'd happily accept the ones offered to her by their hunter. "I've heard of these!" She'd roll them around in her palm as she'd look at them. She'd look for Berrus or Maxine to gush about them too as the Professor reviewed the needle/dagger with Fang.
Goodberry: "Up to ten berries appear in your hand and are infused with magic for the duration." I've interpreted this on my druids as rolling 1d10 to see how many are made, or producing as many is needed for the group.
After she finally settled and made some notes on the berries, Shae would eat hers and record the flavour profile, texture and any restorative qualities she experienced. Once satisfied with her herbalism notes for the day, she would pull out the maps and cartography equipment, spreading them out and using rocks and pebbles to pin things down.
When Fang would approach, it would be perfect timing. She'd thank him for sharing his berries and even show him her notes and sketches if he was interested. Though, eventually she'd go back to task when he'd offer to assist her filling out the map. A sense of relief would wash over her, "Really!? Can you help the Professor and I confirm the ruin locations and fill in the missing pieces?" Shae carried an unbearable amount of responsibility and pressure when it came to the cartographer work. After all, it was her purpose of coming all along. Early on the task was assumed to the captain. Shae was too timid to assume the role. After the Captain's outburst, she finally spoke up and tried. Then with the help of the Professor, his Gazetteer and the others, she's been able to bandaid along, but never with confidence...
Hearing Berrus' voice remind them that they are focusing on the crew, she'd swallow with a hint of guilt and correct herself. This time, trying to take a more calm and focused approach, Shae would look back to Fang. "Will you assist us with finding the safest way to get our crew to port? If you cover and guide me from the ground, I can confirm from the air." She'd tilt her head as she'd suggest it.
All packed and ready, Maxine urged the crew to join the final discussion of the way to the port. Unless there was a secret serpentine way that could bring them their very safely, she was completely agree with Berrus - the more straightforward, the better. Jungles were dangerous no matter what rout you choose, so, why prolong the suffering?
After consulting with Shae on the cursed dagger, Snively agrees that they should remove it from her possession as soon as possible. He also recalls that he would like to copy one of her defensive spells when time allows—Mirror Image.
During his conversation with Gruk, he mentions the possibility that the Travelers may go to the lost city of Tamoachan at some point, asking what the Grung may know about it.

Shae will look down and feel herself calm, able to methodically go through the map updates and consultations.
After the Professor has had the opportunity to copy and review her spells, and they've discussed the Captain and the cursed dagger, she will then begin preparing herself for her flight. Shae would hug the tomb to her chest and take a deep breath before securing it to her person. Feeling butterflies of excitement build up in her chest, she'd catch herself starting to pace a little as she'd look up at the canopy. Eventually stopping herself in one spot, the warlock would rock from her heels to her tiptoes, back and forth trying to psyche herself up to leave the ground.
Shae will start to nibble her lip. Closing her eyes, she'll take a deep breath to begin sensing the world around her. The sounds. The wind. Her connection with Kam. Maybe even hints of the weave. Digging deep to find a flutter of confidence, Shae will grab onto the feeling of freedom and excitement. A smirk will grow across her face. "Sluththloom flean. Hwul ptapthoul." The echo of her celestial speech will sing through her words as she kicks off to take flight into the sky, breaking through the canopy ahead.
Having just finished the ritual for the Floating Disk, the Professor nods and says, “Sounds good Berrus. Definitely the water barrel, then some of our bulkier gear. We can travel like before—travel for the better part of an hour, pause to rest, drink, and renew the ritual, then move again.”

Maxine helped with the packing, checking up on the crew. Yesterday they seemd to recover enough to move, but who knows, some still might needed a ride on the disk.
There was nothing in this village anymore, that could hold her interest. In her mind, she was already on the road.
"Relaxing for day was sure good, especially after what we have been through," nodded Maxine, that (for mere absence of the mirrors around) kind of forgot about all the changes in herself, "but the journey is not over". She suddenly winked at Berrus: "Unless that frog's mead made you wish to stay longer".
"If you are after the head ache - any time you want," laughed Maxine, but then added seriously "a bit of magic added to the weapon or armour is always useful. And it's not all that difficult - we can try to learn you how to do it. Remind me at the evening."
"I was tinkin somethin more akin t those arrows. If i ken make heads that have a hollow space in them..meybe there is somethin ye can add to make em more...." He stops trying to find the word
Maxine shook her head. "The best thing I can do is to make one of the arrow unbreakable. And even that would means I'd have to take away either your protection or tear apart my crossbow. Not worth it, really. With all these riches of plants around, kind of neglected tinkering as of late. But if we can teach you how to do it... Who knows what would you come up with?"
