If anyone would like to roll a Wisdom (Survival) check and take the lead, they can try and track the way back to where they first arrived in this place.
"Understood." Tefkae replied slowly while back and forth between The Hunter and the cast aside dirt. Mutely dismissing further inquiries on the prayer, they followed barely a step behind their goliath compatriot, and with Mr. Pepper perched on the constructs shoulder. However, if none volunteer to take point, then Tefkae will step up, using every bit of her manhunting abilities to try and retrace the group's last passing. In either event, an offer for some stimulating jolts from a device built into hand is at least given prior to settling in for a quiet march.

Ankor steps up to the front of the line alongside the Hunter, "The path we came here on was pretty straight forward, so should be easy to find our way back"
Ankor steps forward to lead the way, The Hunter keeping close by with the lantern. Ankor immediately realises that there is something amiss, the path seems to be slightly different from what he recalls about arriving here. It was only yesterday, but it felt like months ago. There are no footprints to follow, and it almost feels like the very earth had moved to change its location.
However, with some good luck and perseverence, as well as The Hunter keeping the group together, the silhouette of the hull of the ship is in sight, the tricking of the murky grey waters running alongside it.
"Egads, I had forgotten how beautful you were, gal!" Cpt. Obaysch says, bringing the lumber over with haste. "Not to worry, with the expertise of myself and my crew's aid, this vessel will be seaworthy in a jiffy!"
After arriving to the ship Ankor is relieved. "That path was very much different than the one we came thru yesterday. Not a single track or foot print to be found which is surprising for me and captain here."

"Curious. It is no wonder that mapping is difficult. Perhaps the land itself is a living thing? Or perhaps the mist has a more profound effect on the mind that originally given credit. I will take sakes, and try to study them." Mr. Pepper digs his way into Tefkae's pack following those words on some likely associated order. "Thank you for the hard work, Mr. Ankor. And you as well, Hunter... Inquiry: Are the creatures of mist the only known threat here?"

Zack, who was quiet for most of the trip and kept towards the back, as usual, speaks up "Hmm... Perhaps we should make preparations to leave as soon as possible then." He takes a quick glance at Tefkae and says, "The land itself is living or the mist messes with our heads... neither possibility seems like a good thing to me so I think we should just try and get out of here and into another plane or whatever before something bad happens." He pauses again before adding, "This place gives me a bad feeling."
Ankor will lend a helping hand to the capt by holding whatever lumber in place while he fastens and gets the ship repaired. When that is all done he will walk back towards where they came from and see if their foot prints are still visible. Wondering how long it takes for them to disappear

"Well it's just how the land beyond the mists works." The Hunter tells the others. "See, The Scholar, well, the last one, apparently believed that the world we can't see in the mists isn't made until we can see it, which is why if you go without a lantern you'll get lost forever as you'll just sink into the ever changing mists. Can't say I've tried it personally, but you never know."
Cpt. Obaysch begins on the repairs, removing his jacket and propping it onto an outstretched branch to keep it from getting soiled as he works. He seems a fair labourer despite the uppity and quirky nature.
"Oh, hold on." The Watcher tells the others. "See up there? Yup, looks like we're gonna have company. See how the mists swirls like that? Means that something is coming through and gonna probably try and kill us."
Zack also notices this, it is somewhat like a small vortex of swirling mists, the central point darker and seemingly stretching out into the thick fog.
The Watcher puts the lantern down, hooking it on the branch besides the giff coat. She pulls her bow and draws a couple of arrows. The tips of the arrows seem to glimmer slightly. "Right, best be ready, folks. I didn't really get chance to setup anything, so it's gonna be a 'fair fight'."
Zack stands up and gets ready to face the threat. His offensive cantrips seemed useless against the mist beast earlier so he had prepared more combat focused spells this morning. Hopefully, he'd be able to help in a meaningful way this time.

The group grabs their weapons, focuses, and ready for a fight. Sailor, seemingly also sensing the danger, scurries off towards the boat with a whimper as appearing through the vortex are five misty forms. Three take on the visage of a crow, some 4-5 feet tall and with shadowy wings and dense looking mist talons. The other two slide onto the ground as large serpentine creatures, looking large enough to engulf a person easily.
"Careful with the ground ones." The Hunter tells the group. "Them critters can apply the Mist Phage, slow and awkward death if you don't cleanse it."
Victoria and Tefkae, you're up first! The creatures are about 20 ft. from the group, the crows 15 ft. above the ground at the moment.
"If it is some form of disease, this one should be fine."Tefkae stated calmly. Yet rather than chance it, she levels her flintlock in the direction of serpents. "Assessing.... Assessing... Layout locked... Acquiring target... Weak point locked."They said in a far more stiff fashion than any other time, but pop off a shot regardless from weapon in hand with quite the boom.
Meanwhile, Mr. Pepper follows Sailor's lead, but stopped short of getting too, too far, in readiness to help at a moment's notice.
Bonus Action:Insightful Fight(10) vs Mist Serpent1 Charisma(Deception).
Action: Tefkae Executes Termination Protocol - Attack: 27 Damage: 30 of magical piercing damage. (Sneak attack included if applicable).
Victoria attempts the Fire Bolt, but the spell fizzles in the heavy mists.
Tefkae rushes to the serpent on the left, managing to slice up it with a nimble and precise blow. A lot of the mist of the serpent seems to dispel, returning to the background environment as a large amount of the "head" and "back" of the serpent seem inexistent. (Mist Serpent: 30 damage.)
The hunter takes two of the arrows, the tips dipped in light as she launches them at two of the flying mist beasts. Longbow vs. Mist Beast 1:18 vs. AC. Hit:7 piercing, plus 9 radiant damage. Longbow vs. Mist Beast 2:13 vs. AC. Hit:6 piercing, plus 9 radiant damage.
The second shot barely misses, but the first strikes well, the light piercing the form and causing part of its body to disintegrate. The arrow seems ineffective, but the shining tip is doing its job. (Mist Beast 1: 12 damage.)
(OOC: I want to be clear on one thing. Can I use my Inspiration to give an ally to give them advantage? Does it take an action? I'm asking because I'm not very well-versed on the inspiration rules )
Zack decides that he doesn't want to take any chances with whatever the heck "Mist Phages" are. He chants and waves his hands and three glowing orbs appear around him. He then points his hand towards Mist Serpent 1 and the three glowing orbs fly towards it at alarming speeds.
