Rollo drops his protection in favor of attack but it seems his run of bad luck continues as the first attack misses and leaves Rollo open to a counter attack. Luckily Rollo isn't so easily struck and he pushes his whole body forward, knocking into the bugbear and causing his swing to miss. Raising his weapon for another strike this time Rollo cuts the bugbear deep in the chest though not quite felling him. Then suddenly the ground around Snigbat and his giant cover begins to grow rapidly, encasing the two and while not holding them in place it Snigbat and his giant are clearly struggling to move. By time the spell is finished theres a bright patch of tall green grass and flowers where had previously just been snow.
B3 meanwhile moves up to reinforce his comrade, managing to land a blow on Rollo with his morningstar. The allied bugbear who was squished by the giant somehow manages to pull himself out from under the giant, albeit with several serious injuries.
"Well that complicates matters a bit, eh?" Narz comments as the plant growth ran wild on the field. He had half a mind to listen to the wise words of Devestators far more accomplished then he, and just nuke the field with cleansing, arcane flames, turning the field of overgrowth into a sea of flames. But, that wasn't gonna be very cash money of him, so he settled on yelling out an arcane phrase and unraveling their minds in a burst of psionic energy.

The two giants grab their heads as if struck by a sudden migrain. While this is happening Dakkurz's bugbear on the south side of the fight runs up to fight one of his kin that are attacking Rollo but unfortunately misses entirely. H1 tries to shake off the pain in his head but suddenly finds himself pulled away from Snigbat and towards Rollo, angery and confused he runs towards Rollo. H3 reacts to his migrain with anger, swinging his club in a wide arc and obliterating one of the bugbears. Dakkurz curses and charges forward with her horse to attack giant fleeing Claires weeds, annoyed she can't easily get to the traitor but needing the giant dealt with all the same. With three strong swings of her sword she leaves three deep cuts in the giants fat and muscle.
The Goblins on the south side of the battle move forward, breaking their formation to better target a variety of foews before letting loose. Several arrows strike the giant their boss just injured while a few fly towards the remaining bugbears loyal to Snigbat, felling one with a shot to the head.
With his living cover gone Snigbat panics as he fears he has no where to go. In an act of cowardice he drops to the ground hoping to hide almost Claires weeds. Back over with Rollo the buvbear in front of him continues to try to harass him but seems frustrated as yet another attack is blocked by the barbarian.
Finally, the prone giant stands up and grabs his club, laughing at the little bugbear who somehow manages to pull itself from the lumbering brutes fat. With almost no effort the giant smashes his enormous club on the ground, squishing the goblinoid like an annoying bug.

Narz grimaces seeing the fall of the bugbear, knowing that they were always hard to come by, let alone train enough to actually do their job. Rollo quickly cuts down the final enemy bugbear leaving just the giants and snigbat to deal with. Claire moves in and sends a mote of flame towards one of the Giants which just barely misses. She then summons her spiritual spear which has little trouble sticking into the nearby giant. However soon after a large explosion lights up the area, melting snow and setting part of the plants Claire summoned on fire, along with the cowardly goblin hiding within the brush. H1 also catches alight from the blast but, luckily for him, he is dead before he can feel any of the pain from the fire.
With all the nearby enemies defeated Dakkurzs final remaining bugbear starts organizing the goblins on the south side to regain formation and focus fire on the two remaining giants. H3, suffering from burns, cries out in pain. When he readjust himself he roars before taking his rage out on Torsus who is within smashing range. The club strikes Torsus hard twice nearly knocking him off his feet twice and leaving his shell cracked in places from the sheer force. Dakkuz curses again and even louder, ignoring the falled giant before hee but looking angrily at the burning field that Snigbat had been hiding in. She catches a glimpse of a dead, burning traitor and spits on the ground before turning her attention to the reamaing giants. With a battle cry she charges the giant that just nearly killed Torsus and slashes the back of the giants legs, causing him to stumble. With an opening clear she turns her horse around and opens the giants neck with her blade. As the giant falls she then turns to the final giant and thrusts the blade into its back.
The goblins on the south side follow the orders from the buvbear and begin to form up but keep space between them in case of flying boulders. Loosin another volley the pepper the remaining giant with a few arrows. With a roar of anger the last remaining giant seeks to finish what his ally started and crush the turtle next to him but his attacks are wild and panicked causing him to miss.

Torsus, whether he likes it or not takes the hits (metaphorically) on the chin... the first hit sending webs through his shell, while the followup expanded the forming cracks. Every nerve in his body screamed as he felt like an oyster being forced open, exposing his weak, inner-body to fresh air, the shell itself just barely holding true. Nearly falling to one knee even as Aeyd rushes over to assist in the only way she can. Dark energy began forming around him like it had in the last battle, though this time it was weaker, in match with his own physical weakness, and his eyes met the giants promising either an eternal agony of torment for his soul in his patrons worlds.... or tthat his weakness would make him a fine target for one more clubbing because of the DM's inability to roll below 20 on attack rolls >.>
Aeyd rushes up and lands one blow after another breaking several bones in the giants body in the process. The giant roars in pain but its cries are soon snuffed out following a blast of magical energy from Torsus. With the final attack the giant falls to the ground ending the battle.
With the last foe down Dakkurz rides over to confirm Snigbat perished in the fireball and, once sure that was the case, she rides over to confront Narz. What in the hells was that! Snigbat was mine to kill not yours!
Narz unflinchingly meets Dakkurz ire with a calm veneer of his own. Vigo is far less even tempered and had started to growl at the other hobgoblin until Narz lightly pat him twice on the head. "I could say the same to you. Were your fellow mercenaries also yours to kill? To cast aside in a reckless charge, instead of making some assurance -- some actual -plan- to minimize casualties to your own?" He asked frankly. "Seeking the punishment and the eventual termination of a traitor is one thing. But losing yourself in that pursuit...." He shakes his head.
"You are far better than that, Dakkurz. Even if you were never apart of a Host, you are -still- a hobgoblin. But, if you insist on recompense considering we we're only hired to assist in his tracking, and could have just as well have left you and yours to it, then... speak it. Otherwise, there should be enough of his head to put on a spike. Perhaps you can even ask the one Bugbear you have left to speak his gods. Maybe they'll reward him in trap Snigbat's soul, and turn the macabre trophy into an alarm. From what I recall, they certainly have a knack for that sort of thing." He stated, then settle back further into his seat waiting patiently for a response. And if she in her infinite wisdom decides to get off her horse and draw a blade, so too would Narz dismount from Vigo, but draw no weapon. Rather, he'd stare down in hopes of giving her pause, before gesturing with his eyes to the rest of her goblins and flexing his fingers at his side in warning.

Torsus was once more breathing hard, and he had began to wonder what the point of his shell or shield was when everything seems to hit him anyway.... as much as he wanted to collapse to allow his body to rest a bit by kneeling, he forced himself down into a sitting position as an argument over who had the right to kill whom in a battle that had started at random. his head hung low, his body screaming in agony from within, having taken so much damage all at once, from so few blows. He idly wondered if the same thing that happened last time would happen again.
Casting thaumaturgy to make his voice audible so he wouldn't have to personally shout... What does it matter? They are dead. Would you blame a ravine should they have fallen to their doom from one? Or a boulder if it landed on them and 'stole' your kill? Huf... huf... I understand you desire honor or... justice .. or whatever it is that drives you. But you sought their death. They are dead. You achieved that which you sought.
but from there, all he could do was see what happened next.

Dakkurz glares at Narz and grits her teeth, clearly trying to restrain herself. Her mercenaries all keep their weapons at the ready should their leader need defending. With a loud huff she visibly relaxes and spits on the ground towards Snigbats corpse. Fine, I suppose you're right. I saw the little bastard and let my rage get the better of me. We suffered too many losses because of it. But whats done is done and the traitor is dead. Suppose that's all that matters. Dakkurz turns her horse around and pointsna finger towards the riverside town in the distance. That's Bargewright Inn. If we hurry we can get there before sundown. Drinks are on me, or rather on Shalvus when he pays me. She then looks around the battlefield as she realizes he's no where to be found. Has anyone seen that sneaky bastard?

When the last enemy falls, Claire drops concentration on Wind Wall, she sighs in relief that none of party were injured badly, but quickly wipes the expression from her face when she hears Dakkurz comment on her own lost troops. After their dialogue, Claire plops a hand over her brow and squints her eyes, scanning around for Shalvus.
