Finan watches the situation quickly head to a place where it would be out of control, so he does what he can to stop that from happening. Angrily he positions himself between Talia and Paren, placing a hand on Paren's chest and looking him straight in the eyes as he whispers fiercely, "Sounds more like Lugh had something to do with Zynphura's death, Paren. And if the Gods know you're a Warden, then others know too. There are those in town who have shared words with them directly, if you remember." He then looks sternly at Falaine. "She just inquired to do an examination of the body. We'll have to find out where it is so we can bring Talia there."
He casts another warning glance at Paren not to do anything foolish, then turns to face the Gnome shopkeep again. "I'm sorry. We have all seen and been through a lot and tempers are flaring a bit because of it. With the church destroyed, is there anywhere you know that the Acolytes might have taken the Zynphura? And if you don't mind my asking, is there a particular God you pray to?"

Happy holidays all of you!
Edit: Also I'm a slow writer... didn't see the last two posts before I posted mine, but I think it still checks out

(Questions: Why warden, Where could the body be taken, who does she pray to. If there's more that I missed, let me know!)
Talia rests on the stool that allows the taller gnome woman to see over the counter without much issue. You can tell she's been taken off guard by the sudden rise of hostility and anger and you get the sense that she doesn't have to deal with that sort of pressure very often. In fact, most of her patients are most likely sedated when she treats them so she doesn't have to deal with things like this at all. Her cheeks are red with worry and anger at the outbursts and you can tell she does her best to remain calm under the stress of the situation.
She points at the shield Paren is wearing. "That's what the symbol mean doesn't it? I've only ever seen it adorned by those in the service to Lugh. I've learned plenty of herbal healing methods thanks to the writings of Wardens. Spending that much time in the forest allows them to... experiment with different plants." She slides open a drawer in the counter and pulls out a rather thin binding of pages. Written crudely on the front is the name The Healing Nature of Herbs. She flips open the page and you would be able to see rather basic combinations of plants that offer simple healing options. "I've been working on various combinations based on teachings I've read. You would think there would be more information in the libraries but the librarians don't seem to like keeping works done outside of the family."
She pauses a moment thinking on Finan's question. "If she was gravely injured, they would have brought her here if they had any smarts in them. Knowing the guards, they probably took her to the shrine hoping Krusk could heal her. The Mother's magic is rather strong after all." She offers a soft shrug as she wonders what the guards were thinking. "The god I favor? I'm sure you would expect one dealing with healing and health to pray to the Mother but all the coin wrapped up in the shrine never felt right to me. Sure, I heal people for coin so it's not that different. I just feel like a god doesn't need money, you know what I mean? Talia's gotta eat," she says with a grin that shows she's trying to calm herself more than anything. "I've always loved the stories and songs of the bards. I think that's what drew me to Aiden. A lot of my craft is passed down through traditions."
Paren looks down at the shield with a questioning glance. "I am sorry, but this symbol does not mean exactly what you think it means. This marks me as a follower of Lugh, yes, but only as what we call a Sentinel. A Sentinel is a guardian of the forest, like myself. A Warden is the best of us, those who commune more closely with Lugh than anyone else. As far as I know there is only one of these left, an elder who's location is a mystery, even to me."
He looks up at Talia. "I am sorry for my outburst. There have only been two who have ever called me that and with the way things have gone recently I still consider one to be a prime suspect for the cause of all the damage that has gone on here. You saying that made me think you might be a cause of it all too."

Talia smiles as she looks on at the shield, "Distinction noted. I'm sure you're a wonderful Sentinel. You have to forgive my ignorance in this area. There isn't a lot of information available on your faith and I assumed any in the role were of the same title. I only spent a short time at the monastery as I was traveling through so I wasn't able to learn as much as I would have preferred."
Falaine looks over the shop. Most of what is available here are your basic remedies for minor injuries and wounds. There are an abundance of herbs used in crafting potions and tonics. That seems to be the main good that's sold here and are all at a very reasonable price mostly because it would take the customer's own skills to turn them into the potions they require. Behind the counter at the rear of the shop are potions made up and ready in various sized vials. Falaine would spot several potions of healing as well as potions that look to grant the consumer with resistances of various types.
The most interesting thing in the store is the small selection of tinker toys found inside the display case near Talia. Each one looks to be a different animal but they all have a magical essence to them that Falaine hasn't seen before in her travels. She swears that she can see them moving ever so slightly.
Jonathan removes his hand from his rapier's hilt, seeing that the conversation has calmed down. He goes back to checking by the shop entrance just in case.
As Jonathan looks outside, he sees that the town has returned to some level of normalcy as the day progresses. Though the town lacks the huge crowds of the festival, there is still a fair amount of travelers coming through as they may their way between the Highlands to the Lowlands. He doesn't spot anything out of sorts and it doesn't seem like the guards making their patrols are acting any differently than they had acted prior to the events that unfolded in the city. Jonathan assumes that the town is just trying to get back to normal after all that has happened.
Talia smiles as Falaine asks about something she's a bit more excited to talk about. "These?," she asks gesturing to the small animals. "Made them myself in my spare time when I haven't been busy dealing with everything else. They're ten gold each but they're plenty worth it. It's like having a little pet that you don't need to feed."She lets out a small laugh.
Paren looks over the toys looking to see if there's an owl to remind him of his friend. "Are they just toys? Or is there more to them." He then turns back to Talia. "If you are a follower of Aiden maybe you could help us with a mystery. Why would Aiden be in conflict with Shamara? What we have learned seems to suggest that they are in conflict with each other."
