The group, all invisible except for Mal, wander away from the deactivated mirror and down the hallway. Badger scampers ahead. It looked like the man turned left...and you can see him just disappear heading up to the right. He has his hand on the right wall and is clearly moving without being able to see in the dark, though he seems in a hurry nonetheless. Silas examines Mal, but doesn't see anything untoward on or about her.

(Yes, he has reached the central staircase and seems to be taking the stairs up to the floor above. I presume the group follows him so that you can witness this poor hapless soul be horribly slain in some fantastic way?)
At the top of the stairs, there is a hallway immediately to the right, or the bannister continues around the grand stairway. Having never been on this floor, the group sees strange patches of purple mold that sprouts from random spots along the floors, walls, and ceilings. The mold smells like rotting corpses. You see one release a clouds of spores as the man walks past. He coughs a bit and pauses as he smells the stench, and then continues proceeding carefully. You're then shocked to see tiny eyeballs emerge from the mold to watch as the man walks past.
The man takes the hallway to the right. (Keep following?)

Nothing seems safe here, but you continue regardless. The strange mold sends out little puffs as you walk past. You try not to breath it in, though a bit of a sniff and it doesn't seem bad. It's little eyes watch you as you follow the man. The hallway to the right goes down about twenty feet to a T junction. He reaches the T junction and turns right. When you reach the T junction though you stop as he's coming back, following the far wall. He stops, listening. The six of you stand there quietly, less than ten feet away, and say nothing. He continues moving off down the left passage. To the right, you see it is in fact a dead end ten feet down, but there is a crawlway, three feet wide and 2 feet high that he obviously missed in the darkness.
Fifty feet down the passage, it seems to open up into a wider hallway that heads off to the left. The whole way has patches of this strange fungus along it. He occasionally touches a patch with his hand, only to pull it back, disgusted, and move forward more slowly shuffling his feet and then reach for the wall a bit later. He reaches the end and stops as his feet step into puddles of water on the floor. His hand touches the wall which is slick with moisture. He pauses, and then..tentatively, continues. The hallway is wider here, fifteen feet wide, and turns left. He follows the far wall. As you reach the end of the small hallway, you see the wider hallway in better detail. Still puddles of water cover the floor of this fifteen-foot-wide hallway. The walls are slick with moisture and set with murals showing animal-headed humanoids in armor, most of which appear to brandish real weapons hanging on the walls. A three-foot-high crawlway in the right wall is flush with the floor. At the far end of the hall, a rippling, transparent curtain of water fills a stone archway. Beyond the curtain, you see another hallway that looks similar to the one in which you stand.
As the man's hand runs along the slick wall it touches one of the weapons...dislodging it from the hooks holding it up and it clatters to the floor. It seems to be a rusty mace. He picks it up, feeling it with his hands, before brandishing it in his left hand as he continues walking down the hallway, making wet splotches as he goes. From just outside this hallway, the group of you watch to see what happens. He walks right past the crawlway, predictably, and his hand misses touching a sickle on the wall. When his hand touches a section of wall showing an unarmed hawk warrior, it passes through the wall as it if's not there. He follows into the illusion, but emerges a moment later, and continues down the hallway. Next his hand touches a trident on the wall. He touches the length of the weapon, then drops the mace and takes a rusty trident off the wall. He uses it to touch the floor in front of him like a walking stick. He reaches the wall of water. He sticks the trident through it, and feeling not resistance, touches it with his hand, and then thirstily slurps up a bunch of the water. Then....taking a deep breath, he passes through the waterfall vanishing from your view.

The human is real enough. Just a pathetic nobody looking for a way out of here. I doubt he is much help to us, but perhaps we should announce our presence. This place is harsh enough to have to face it alone.
Badger maintains his concentration on the spell, ready to cast Suggestion if required to help steer the man out of danger.
