As Grenk reaches the waterfall and steps into it. An explosive blast of water appears and slams into him, and rushes down the hallway slamming into everyone.
Roll DC 15 Strength check. 16 bludgeoning damage, half on a save. If you fail your save, you're thrown to down to the end of the hallway. If you make, you are able to stay where you are, but you're still knocked off your feet.
The water goes spraying down the side hallway, and also seems to leak out of many small cracks all along the hallway, draining away fairly quickly, leaving the waterfall still falling peacefully. Everyone picks themselves up off the ground, sopping wet...but...yes..cleaner!

The sudden wave lifts Badger off his feet and sweeps him tumbling head over heels to the end of the hallway. As the water recedes, the sodden gnome picks himself up, his long white beard plastered wetly across his chest and shoulders. Franticly he looks around for Hopkins, but with a sigh of relief finds the frog just a short distance away, looking rather content in a small puddle. Oh, you think that's funny? scolds Badger. I would have foreseen that if you weren't distracting me with your constant chatter. Well of course it's magic. Yes, I'm sure I can dispel it, but that doesn't solve the mystery! Why wasn't that peasant affected? Somewhat more disgruntled than before, the wizard checks through his pouches to ensure none of his scrolls or components are damaged.
Once sufficiently recovered, Badger marches back up to the waterfall and casts Dispel Magic, using his Portent roll of 18 as the INT check against any spell DC on the waterfall. (Hoping it's not a ninth-level spell).
Mal gets knocked ass over end and lands upside down against the wall at the far end of the hallway and then slowly crumples over to lie on the ground looking up at the ceiling. She eventually gets up collects her stuff and then waits for someone to signify it is safe to proceed without ever saying a word.
Badger walks up and casts his dispel on the waterfall. The water slows and slowly stops falling. Drips patter down for a minute or so after.
Mal sees a ripple in a puddle go through the wall that is an illusion, reminding her of the illusionary wall.
On the other side of the waterfall is a passage that is a mirror image of this one, with a crawl way most of the way down on the right, and a passage on the left at the very end. The light from the guy emanates from the hallway.

The wave slams into Sickle and he gets slammed in to the back wall. He sits up, coughing and retching, thinking to himself that this is how his enemies had felt when he would cast Tidal Wave.
”How in the blasted hells did he get through that without it affecting him?”
Mal's eye slide to the right where the illusionary wall is and shrugs. She then moves over to the wall and sticks her head through the illusionary wall to see what is behind it.
Mal sees a small alcove behind the illusion of the wall. It has a stand in it, on top of which sits a small round purple crystal that looks like a large marble, designed on the inside to look like an eyeball. It's 1 inch across.
The waterfall is gone with Badger's dispel magic, and the last few drips have ceased to fall. It's a lot quieter without the constant sound of water falling.
Light comes from the far hallway on the left side...where the man has gone with Silas' light rock.
Badger urges everyone along, uncertain about how long the waterfall will stay off for, and waits for someone else to take the lead. Quickly now, and pay attention to what the peasant is doing, he says in his most authoritative voice. Then he adds in a mumble: So much for using him to clear the way for us...

Everyone looks at Grenk to lead. You head down the passage and take a left to see the man about twenty feet down looking through a hole in the wall. There appears to be a door on the right behind him that is open and the passage swings around to the left. Keeping just out of the light, you see him glance back your way and then he approaches a small crawl way and begins crawling down it. The light slowly begins to fade away as he crawls down the tube to the north.

Grenk relays the info, quietly. He then says, "He's goin in a crawl space. I can keep going forward but I may be slower than everyone else." Pending what the response is, he would go first or fall in line else where.
Badger stops and grabs Grenk's arm. Wait a moment. Let's not make the same stupid mistakes as we did at the waterfall. Then turning to the others he explains: What are we following this peasant for anyway? To fall victims to the same traps as him? Or worse, to suffer where he does not? I think not. Let me follow him with my magic eye. When we are assured that an area is safe, we can venture forwards. Pointing ahead to the crawlway, Badger adds: As for that crawlway, I can send Yertle down there if necessary, and observe without danger. If the others agree, Badger will prepare to cast Arcane Eye and add: Meanwhile, perhaps have a look around these corridors. But be careful!

Silas looks around. Hmmm....there is more water rippling in puddles on the ground, and they're rippling through part of the wall on this side of the hallway as well......likely another illusionary wall. You go in and look. Silas peeks and find the same setup as Mal spotted, but with a bright green crystal eye instead of light purple.
Mal, miserably, sits on the dry ground just inside the hallway.
Badger's arcane eye follows the man. He crawls along, taking an immediate left, then another right after 60 feet, then a quick jig left, then right, then straight for twenty feet when.....his weight seems to trigger something. The whole tunnel seems to drop, and then rotate like it's a giant wheel. Suddenly the man is trapped 30 foot section that is now completely cutoff from escape, having rotated and dropped away from the tunnel that led into and out of this section. He begins to scream and wail....the way anybody would, claustrophobic, trapped, and certainly now doomed.
Also, Badger's eye is stuck in this section of hallway as well.

Badger groans, hoping his spell would have gotten some more mileage. He could still watch the peasant and see what the human does, whether he can free himself. Or since the peasant was a useful trap-finder, it might be worth seeing if the man can be rescued without any harm to Badger or any of his companions. Without bothering to turn, Badger announces: The human is stuck in a trap. I don't foresee any other dangers, so I will go and see if I can release him. Wait or come, whichever you prefer. And with that Badger crawls into the tunnel following the same route until he finds the blocked-off section, also looking for what might have activated the trap.
