Badger watches in horror as Grenk falls into the spinning spider blades. Oh no! The magic unicorn horn might get damaged! he thinks to himself. Desperate to avoid such a disaster, Badger quickly considers his options. Fly? - need to get too close. Tenser's Floating Disk? - can't cast that while hanging. Polymorph? - Grenk would just resist it again. Badger contemplates activating the rod that summons them all to the magical burrow - but that's a last resort. He even considers trying the ultimate fail-safe: His Time Stop scroll - but he regrets to admit to himself that there's no guarantee he has the mental prowess to cast it.
Finally, Badger attempts to push Grenk back down to the floor using Bigby's Hand. He calculates that if he has the space to conjure the hand just above Grenk (i.e. closer to the ceiling) then he can push Grenk back out of the blades and toward the floor.
(The unoccupied space Badger is targeting is just above Grenk. The hand has 62 HP, so with luck it will withstand the blades' damage itself. Badger will use a bonus action to apply the Forceful Hand effect up to 30 feet, pushing Grenk toward the floor. If Grenk wants to be pushed, he shouldn't need to make a STR check, right?)

How does a red dragon blow out the candles on its birthday cake?
Grenks fingers slip off the side of it and he crashes up. As he goes higher into the teeth, he clenches tight trying to mitigate damage. Stones endurance to reduce damage by 9
If the hand works great let's do that, if not he will shout out, "get me a rope, I'll go Ethereal till then."
Bigby's hand requires somatic and material components. If Badger, who is hanging onto the door frame trying not to fall himself, would like to cast it, he must a) Roll a DC 10 Dex check to not drop the components as he fishes around for them, hanging up and b) Roll a DC 10 Strength check to hang on with one hand while he frees a hand to cast with.

This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Mal looks up at the bloody mess that is Grenk and then wraps her legs around the pedestal and pulls out a rope and holds onto one end and then tosses the other up to Grenk, yelling out, "Grab it and hold on." Once Grenk has a hold of it she will pull and bring him out of the blades, hopefully.
Nah, too many rolls. Badger will use his movement to pull himself back into the doorway so he isn't 'hanging in space' any more. And then if he can still see Grenk he will cast the spell. If he still needs any kind of stabilising, he will order Sickle to grab hold of him so he can use his hands. Hopefully with Mal's rope this is a good backup (in case she isn't strong enough).

Grenk will go Ethereal with the unimomey gift that was bestowed upon him. He fades out of this plane and into the outer Ethereal plane. He reaches for the rope and in so doing begins to move in the down direction. Realizing gravity isn't really a think here, he moves himself down and out of the room.
Badger considers his predicament, and instead pulls himself up and into the door frame, and then abruptly falls to the floor in the hallway.
Mal meanwhile, hooks herself onto the lectern with her legs in a show of pure agility, and pulls out a rope to lower "up"....but...Grenk has already vanished and is nowhere to be seen.
Mal, hanging upside down here, has easy access to the lever inside the lectern. Keshma floats into the room, ignoring the change in gravity, though her hair and jewelry hang 'upwards'. She moves over to Mal and helps her. "I can carry you back when you're done."
The WOOMP WOOMP WOOMP of the blades from above and the rush of air of their movement fills the room.
On the hazy ethereal world, Grenk feels the 'woosh woosh' of the blades around him, but they do nothing. He floats back down to the floor and over to the hallway, passing through his allies who are outside watching.
Mal will continue to hold the rope in one hand and then seeing the lever is right next to her, will reach down and pull it. Then will use the offered help from Keshma to get out of the room, once Grenk is back to safety, when he reappears.
The lever is pulled and there's a grinding noise heard outside. Everyone out on the balcony looks over to see the last symbol light up....and a final loud "clang" is heard as the door is unlocked.
Keshma carries Mal free of the room easily enough.
Grenk is on the ethereal still having not yet reappeared.

Badger slumps down in the corridor, somewhat shaken from nearly falling up into the blades. Seeing Mal floating back with Keshma, he looks back into the room franticly. Did... did Grenk make it? he asks.

With a shrug, Mal responds "He winked out of existence in the blades, so he either was completely chopped into little bits or he will reappear somewhere around here where he is safe and when he can."
She then proceeds to coil up her rope and put it back away in her backpack.
Grenk floats himself back into the room with the others. He takes a knee down behind Badger and fades back into existence. "Well that stung," he said after coming out of no where. "Can we not do that again?"
Oh. You did make it, replies Badger with a poorly-disguised tone of disappointment, eyeing the unicorn horn. Well I could do with a rest before we see what's behind that big door.

Grenk successfully escapes the room and appears outside. You close the door, leaving the "WOOMP WOOMP WOOMP" of the spinning steel spider behind and move back down into the room as a group. The civilian sits on the stairs that lead up and out of the room, ready to bolt. Sickle stands, blue eyes staring sightlessly into the room, silent. Steam wafts off of his frozen fist. Keshma hovers up against the desk, and picks up random bits of paper, glancing at them but tossing them to one side. The three little doll children hang onto people's shoulders or hats. A frog eyes its hat partner suspiciously.

Ooc, Grenk has 1 hit dice left to spend and is down 30 some hp. Not sure if this is the big boss or not but I'm thinking so since its a magic door with keys from the previous levels and the puzzle rooms to unlock. Do we want to go in there with less than full strength?
"To tie to whoever scouts ahead so we can pull them back if needed," Silas states.
