That's a nice trick, says Badger to Grenk when he reappears. How often can you do that? Perhaps you could take a walk through that door before we open it. The dolls said that's what the Sewn Sisters do.

"Why don't we rest in one of the smaller rooms than this large room. Makes for an easier place to defend from and we might as well spend the night in the room with the food. That one seemed to be the one with the least amount of danger in it." Mal says.
You guys head up to the food room....but as you arrive at the door...you see the servant still standing there. He smiles at you a bit awkwardly. You instead head into the room with the broken glass pillar and, sweeping the broken glass aside find there's plenty of room here. The group sits down to rest.

After the rest and when everyone is ready. Grenk will try scouting beyond the door. "Give me 20 minutes. If I'm not back by then, come in fireballs ablazing."
Silas looks for a corner and settles in as he tries to surpassed his naseusous feeling and pain. (Does it stay around when he wakes up?)

Both Silas and Keshma are still wracked with pain. Keshma eventually, in a huff, flies up stairs and goes into the food room. She comes back....with a cupcake. She looks to Silas, "Look, I don't trust it, but it took away whatever evil was causing those pains." She puts it on the table and shrugs. "Up to you."
Badger, Silas, Mal, Keshma, Sickle, and the civilian...two dolls, and a frog....sit and wait, while Grenk and his little monkey friend both vanish into the Ethereal world.
Grenk moves through the doors. There is a ten food wide staircase leading down about twenty feet. Everything is blue and hazy from here. He floats down the stairway and into a sizable room. He can only see 60 feet into the real world though, beyond that it's all just a hazy fog, but it's enough for him to see most of the room. Crumbling balconies overlook a pool of lava filling this triangular chamber, above which is suspended an enormous crystal cylinder held in place by three metal struts. Wraithlike forms swirl inside the cylinder, and otherworldly screams hang in the air. Four long, writhing tentacles sprout from the cylinder’s top cap. A shriveled monstrosity the size of an elephant floats near the cylinder. Its body is wet and malformed, its arms and legs are atrophied, and its oversized head drips black goo. The creature is attached to the cylinder by a twisted umbilical cord. The ceiling archs 30 feet overhead. The upright cyclinder hanging over the lava is twenty feet high, and ten feet across. The lava is 30 feet below the edge of the walkway. By moving into the room just a bit, Grenk can see the far 'point' of the triangular room and sees some sort of hazy portal on a balcony. Two facing balconies halfway along the room are littered by ornate glass bottles, fluted silver urns, ivory caskets, and other vessels — all of them inscribed with baleful sigils.
I'jin's voice whispers into Grenk's mind, "Woah, we should definitely go check out that portal over there...I bet it leads somewhere awesome..."
The hideous floating creature stirs slightly, it's bulbous hateful eyes track Grenk...and it's body spasms as it sucks down nourishment through its terrible umbilical cords.....souls inside the vessel shrieking as some get pulled away to be consumed.
Grenk stares back at the creature and then at the tube and what he can only assume is the souls that have gone missing. He thinks to himself, 'is this what happened to my order?' He then realizes that he's gripping his sword. Rather than rushing to attack he instead turns and heads back to the others. He would have his vengeance soon but the others had their own reasons to fight as well.
Returning to the others Grenk pops back into existence. "The soul Monger thing is in there. It's like a giant perverse baby feeding from a device collecting souls. All of it above a lava pit." He then goes into detail describing the room.

"Seriously," Mal exclaims, "I mean, I just." then she walks away swearing for several minutes and returns, "fine so be it, let's do this. I guess focus on the huge baby thing? Unless other creatures arrive, then we deal with whatever happens when it happens."
The remove curse spell washes away any sense of hunger, a massive shudder of relief washes through Silas.
Keshma checks her wrist...."Hmmmm, guess I'm still stuck helping you for another day or so. I clearly made a bad choice. Is it too late to go back to my bottle?" She glances at Mal and grins a vicious smile, "So....you're the brains behind this operation with a plan like that."
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Mal grins wickedly at Keshma with cold dead eys, "Yes." Then with a flick of her hair she turns her back on the creature and prepares herself for the coming conflict.
Urgh, did you say a lava pit? Badger asks incredulously. The lack of safety protocols in this place continues to boggle his mind (almost as much as Mal's lack of due diligence in her preparations), but in this case it might actually work in their favor. What is holding the creature above the pit? Perhaps it can be destroyed if we can drop it into the lava...
Badger starts fumbling with his backpack, certain that one of the spellbooks he acquired has a Telekinesis spell in it, and wishing that he's taken the time to learn it. Vague visions come to his mind (as they sometimes do) of strange faces in strange places, and a robed figure using the same spell to launch enemies into a dark stone sphere...

Badger rubs his nose in thought and then suggests: Perhaps we could all target something different to begin with, and see which is the most vulnerable. Find the weakest point in the entire mechanism, as it were. Then we all turn our attention to that target. The whole mission had brought them to this point - to destroy the Soulmonger - and thus is could not be left to chance or whim.

Seeing Sickle like this sends a cold shiver up Badger's spine. As soon as this Soulmonger was dealt with, Badger would have to turn his attention to those of his companions that were afflicted with magic items too powerful for them to wield. For their own welfare, of course. But first the business at hand. Standing up on the nearby table, Badger starts pointing at each person in turn...
OK then, so Sickle creates his wall, we all hide behind it and take turns blasting at something. Grenk shoots the baby. I blast the vessel. Mal aims for the struts that hold it all up. Silas targets the umbilical cord. Then we decide which one is the preferred target and all focus our attacks. Keshma can help defend us, or join the attack. What do you say?

The creature seems to be floating above the lava. It's not held aloft by anything in particular.
There are three heavy metallic beams that are holding the vessel in the center over the lava.
The creature is attached to the vessel via a disgusting umbilical cord.
