The huge creature leaps into the camp, Silas, shocked at how quickly the thing has approached is taken aback. The creatures jaws, rotting flesh and chipped bone rushes him, while all four of its fists try and pound at him, a dramatic and fierce attack.

A fourth one comes flying out of the sky, falling from the branches above, it's undead flesh quivering, smashing through Ham's hammock.
Sedrik's hammock is picked up as the creatures jaws tear into it, Sedrik trapped and screaming within as all four arms rip and tear at the wrapped squirming figure. It picks him up and smashes him down onto the ground with a shuddering thud, the sound of viscious snapping within as the sack containing him lays, leaking blood and unmoving.
Ham's hammock is smashed into the ground, but he seems to roll out of the netting just in time as he's pounded by massive fists he manages to react with unnerving calm as the blows slam into him.
Silas is brutally smashed as the creature roars, rotting stench and spittle flying around the camp.
The suddenness and ferocity of the attack is jarring as the group awakes to a scene of horror.
Boris, Azaka, Mandra, roll init. If any of you go before 16, you can do something before the attack occurs, but you can't attack the enemies as you're surprised.
Then, everyone can take their actions (including Boris/Azaka/Mandra if you rolled higher than 16, you now have your second action where you can act against the bad guys)
Baked bread fills the air. Ham reaches for his blade on the ground, pulling it free of its sheath, a heavenly ring can be heard as the air around him glows subtly. Attack: 11 Damage: 13. Attack: 12 Damage: 9. He strikes the undead four armed monstrosity fighting him twice, sending rotted fur and chunks of bone flying.
(Badger, let me know if you do the same action, or change what you do at all based on the updated situation..)

Mandra's eyes flutter open and look around in surprise. She is slow to react as she was deep in meditation when the zombiemonkeys attacked. Assessing the situation, she quickly decides that they need backup, and she needs to get out of there. She touches a crow feather woven in to her hair and mutters an arcane phrase, casting Fly on herself before using her full movement of 60 feet to fly straight up in the air from where she was seated.
If anyone could see her face as she flies upwards, they would be unnerved by her yellow murky eyes filling with blackness. The shadows cast by her cloak seem somehow to darken, spread, and become opaque, and then move towards the creature attacking Silas. Once the shadows are within 30 feet they coalesce into the shape of a wolf. Its eyes glow red and it growls at its target. Ill Omen Initiative: 12
OOC: Yes, I'd like Badger to instead cast Fear, capturing as many of the monsters as possible within the 30' cone. Most likely the cone will include at least one PC as well, so I'd like to prioritise Silas (cos he's so injured), and then Sickle and Ham (who are most likely to pass WIS saving throws). Use the Portent roll of 5 for the WIS save of the monster fighting Silas, and use the Portent roll of 12 as the WIS save for Silas (sorry Shodai_Kishi, I've seen how your dice roll - lol). Hopefully this will thin their numbers out a bit. Then we should focus on bringing down one at a time. With 5 attacks each per round and presumably zombie fortitude, we are gonna go down fast if we don't concentrate our attacks.

How does a red dragon blow out the candles on its birthday cake?
Boris was in a semi-asleep state. His night still being disturbed by the fits he would have in the night.
When the noises awoke him he rolled unconsciously out of his hammock and fell to the ground. Leaping up from groggy to action in a moment. That is when he saw the creatures. He turned white with fright.
"What! What is happening?" He stammered.
Then he saw the mists of crimson and heard the screeches of pain. As noticed his blade already in his hands. His jaw clenched and his eyes eyes rolled into the back of his head. Then a guttural roar came from him.
His body flys through the air as he swings his sword at the one attacking Silas (or if it is feared then one of the creatures that is not afraid) edited

Sickle’s eyes snap open at the sounds of the screens and he rolls from his hammock grabbing his staff and shield. His eyes turn silvery grey and the sky begins to swirl above them. There’s a blue flash in his eyes, and lightning streaks from the dark cloud that has formed above them and slams into the ground near the one that attacked Silas (or next one that is engaged with any ally .

Badger scrambles away from the sudden combat, moving into a position in order to catch three of the undead, plus Silas in his spell as his mystical energy unleashes a wave of pyschic fear towards their enemies.
3 (auto-fail from portent). 15. 13.
All three of the undead suddenly spook, their whole bodies jumping back in fear, shaking with confusion, and then turning and fleeing. The shadowy hound leaps in pursuit, chasing them into the jungle.
Silas stands his ground as the wave of fear washes over him.
Sickle's staff glows with a blue nimbus as a blast of lightning slams down into the undead fighting Ham. Dex save: 13. It's body pops and sizzles and rotting flesh burns and fur chars.
Boris charges the remaining undead fighting Ham, slashing his blade into it with a ferocity the group has not before witnessed. The huge creature stumbles and falls, its form sufficiently destroyed.
There is a sudden silence, people's ears ringing from the lightning blast, senses stunned from being woken by such a ferocious attack that is over in the blink of an eye. The huge dead zombie on the ground and the crumpled unmoving wrapped form of Sedrik are all the proof of the attack.
With care Sickle pulls away the hammock, but it's clear that Sedrik is beyond help, his smashed body within.
The group stands ready, waiting for the creatures to return...but...the moments stretch into minutes, which stretch on with no return.
After a time, Boris, his face streaked with tears and grim, angrily grabs his shovel from the pack and goes to one edge of the camp and begins digging. WIth the groups help, a few minutes later a grave is dug, and Sedrik's form is laid within. Words are said. Moments of quiet in the cursed jungle stretch on, and then the sound of the shovel striking dirt and the sound of the spray of dirt across Sedrik's body are the only sound.
Though watches are extra vigilant, the rest of the night passes uneventfully.
Everyone receives 8000 experience.
The next morning you break camp, and Azaka is forced to admit, she's not sure which way to get to Omu. Mandra says, "Wait..." and with a quick arcane word begins flying upwards. She flits through the tree cover and into the sky.
A few minutes she returns. "I saw a large scar in the jungle, an indent, plus what seemed to be smoke and steam directly south, maybe fifteen miles....nothing else seemed interesting."
The group turns south and begins their trek. The morning is filled with a constant drizzle as the group traverses some challenging terrain. A stop for lunch is short and wet. Just after lunch break the group is attacked by an undead spirit that strikes from the dark shadows. It's easily dealt with, and nearby the group finds the remains of a dwarf female, her body pierced by six large spikes. Dinosaur tracks are nearby. The group presses on.
You'll need to camp one more time before reaching whatever it is Mandra saw. Just as you're looking for camp...you feel, more than hear, and unwelcome thud in the ground...followed by another. The group turns in unison and spots a massive T-rex pushing it's way through the trees. Its small black eyes afix onto the group as it leans back and unleashes a bone chilling roar. Birds explode from the trees into the air and animals for miles go silent. Then it attacks.
Everyone roll init. If you beat the T-rex, you may take your action. It's 50 feet away.

Housekeeping:
Badger had given some thought since Nangalore to the spell Sickle had cast, and had been researching ways of his own to summon and channel electrical energy, and following the subsequent casting by Sickle during the girallon attack, Badger completed his findings and recorded a new spell. He'd also had some rather abstract ruminations after seeing the spiraling toy of the boy prince Na, and how it seemed to defy time in its gradual winding descent. Badger had spent his relatively carefree airborne hours thinking of ways to manipulate time selectively, and the effect this could have on certain elements, and he also formulated his findings into a new spell.

Alas, poor Sedrik. I knew him well. If only he had accepted his prophecied destiny to remain in service to the exiled queen of Omu, he would yet live and have avoided this doom. Now Badger realised that his original tarokka reading for Sedrik was not one of doom but of salvation, but which he had chosen to avoid - to his ruin. Badger's only consolation was that Sedrik had avoided the curse of the Darkhall family line.
When the party finds the corpse of the dwarf female, Badger casts Animate Dead, having overlooked the opportunity (due to his grief) to cast it on the girallon body ... or on dead Sedrik.
The memory of the velociraptors lunging out of the foliage had never left Badger, and still haunted his dreams. But the sight of the enormous T-Rex crashing through the tree-line brought those dreams back in waking horror, and reliving all his mental iterations of this kind of attack, Badger drew on his newly-acquired knowledge to try to cause this behemoth to cease its terrible assault.
