Sickle resists the stunning effects of the dazzling lights for a second time as the group begins to move quickly back towards their canoes. As the second creature lands behind them, Sickle feels a flash of anger, and his hand feels icy. He grips his staff tighter and points it towards the creature, and a deadly sharp shard of ice goes flying toward it, exploding on impact.

OOC: no increased movement for another level. I would be able to get to them with a dash and end up with an opportunity attack, but I would rather grapple them and can't in this current situation.

Mandra, Azaka, Silas, Ham and Boris are now all stuck standing in a daze, their mouths agape as they stare at the empty air, while Sedrik, Sickle, Silas, and Badger try to move towards the canoes, but realize they'll leave the party behind. A blast of ice narrowly misses but then explodes (Dex save: 23 ). Shards of ice slash into the white crane bird, spotting it's feathers with red blood. Silas' glowing magical bolt flash past the Eblis just missing it. Badger unleashes bolts of magical energy that slam into the creature. It shrieks and swoops into the air, taking cover behind the large building.
The first and second Eblis are now out of sight. A third Eblis lands on the roof of the nearby building, and yet again the air fills with swirling colors.
Wisdom save DC 11 for Silas, Sickle, Badger. Sedrik's save: 8
Sedrik joins the stunned ranks, leaving only three of the party members with their wits about them an ability to move.
Silas, Badger, Sickle, each make another wisdom save. If you make, take your turn.
(and my bad, I was calling the "Iblis" when in fact they are "Eblis". *shrug*)
Here's a current tactical map. Any of the non-stunned characters, you can reposition yourself up to 30 feet if you want, just let me know.
Eblis 2 and 3 you don't have line of site to anymore, they've taken full cover behind the building or in the trees. Eblis 1is on the roof of the building, so you can see it, but can't get to it easily.

Badger casts Magic Missile (1st level) for 12 force damage at the third eblis, hoping to scare that one off too, and hoping there aren't any more of them. He has no idea how to help his weak-minded incapacitated companions, but he's provide himself, Sickle and Silas some space to think...

Sickle Wis Save: 22
Sickle feels his head swoon at the dazzling lights again, but pushes through them, shaking his head clear. He looks up and focuses on the Eblis on the roof of the domed building. He stays transfixed on it, moving forward to the east and south (OOC: ending directly south of Sedrik, by the wall on the edge of the garden in 5A). As he walks, he begins muttering and moving his staff in a swirling motion. His eyes turn silver-gray, and the sky above him begins to turn gray with a low, dangerous looking cloud. As he comes to a stop, a streak of lighting flashes out of the sky and strikes at the Eblis on the roof.
Action: Cast Call Lightning (60' radius, centered on Sickle, as I read it)
Dex Save 15 for the Eblis (and any creature in 5 feet) or 11 lightning damage, half on success.

Eblis save 14
The flame strikes the Eblis on the roof that shrieks, then magic darts flash up and strike the thing as it tries to take off, then, before it has a chance to get any further there's a massive "BOOM" as a blast of lightning slashes into the thing.
The bird creature, electrocuted and struck by magical darts flaps away to the far side of the building where you can't see it.
The large double doors on this side of the building have long since rusted off their hinges and lay on the ground allowing you to easily see into the main building, with it's massive statue within. The doors on the far side burst open. There you see a woman dressed in a flowing robe made from parrot feathers in stunning colors. Despite the heat, her arms, head, and face are covered in feathery veils. She strides forward without fear towards the group, "Who brings violence to my servants? Who steals from my royal gardens? Who has such arrogance as to enter my domain without properly announcing themselves, and instead attempting to steal away like disgusting thieves? Announce yourself and be judged!"
She continues to stride towards the group, clearly glancing towards the now dead Eblis as she moves towards the door on the far side and to the group.
Sickle, Boris, Badger? Still in init for the moment. Take your action.
Alright, so, after a bit of DM mischeviousness and not following the rules, AND spotting Silas getting up to no good when he should be mesmerized, let me say, the only effective change is:
The bird from the roof flees out of site, and does NOT crash through the roof.
The woman still emerges, but replace "brings death to my servants" to "brings violence to my servants."
Sickle, Badger, and Boris can all take actions and/or respond to the woman. Sedrik pulls out a blade and prepares to fight, but looks nervously to the other three for guidance.
I've updated the previous post with the correct description.
Sickle sees the woman and hears the authority she speaks with, and thinks of the tale Mandra told them of the occupants of this cursed palace. He immediately dips his head, and sides steps over to Mandra, shaking her in an attempt to break her from her stupor.
”Your Highness, forgiveness we beg. We knew not that royalty still walked these grounds, but had heard only stories of the beautiful gardens and flowing waters of Nangalore. We came to see, and to gather samples of the beauty here as requested by our benefactors. When we arrived, we found these creatures among others and assumed they had overtaken the gardens, as I know other ancient places of the Omu have been claimed by beasts and scavengers.”
Mandra's eyes are locked on something off in the distance. "Heeere chirpy birdy... chirp chirpy bird birdy." She attempts to whistle but her zombified palate just produces a bit of spittle.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Boris shakes off his daze, and senses the force of this woman's voice. He tenses up, but when Sickle responds he gives a small grin, and notices that some of his party are still is some sort of odd state. He walks over to try to help them while also hoping not to get the strange woman's attention.
He will approach Silas first as he is the closest.
Boris notices Sickle shake Mandra. Mandra, you're broken from a reverie and look around, taking in the scene. Boris gives Silas a good shake, Silas snaps out of his reverie. Only Ham and Azaka remained mesmerized.
The woman responds, still sounding imperious, "I am glad to know that the name of Omu is still known to the savages beyond. No matter, the Eblis are my servants, royal servants of the kingdom of Omu and will be treated as such. And no matter your benefactors wishes, the flowers of Ka-Nanji are the property of the royal house. What benefactor seeks to steal the precious flowers of my garden then?"
The group notices an uninjured Eblis flap and land above them on the roof of the building. Another flaps about to the west, in the trees just outside the garden.

Badger's feeling of impending doom subsides when the birds stop weaving their magic, although with the emergence of this regal figure he still feels their fate hangs in the balance. He is impressed with Sickle's diplomacy, and gives him an encouraging nod as soon as he can catch his eye. Meanwhile, Badger attempts to focus his magic on the thoughts of the noble woman, hoping to determine whether she has hostile intent, or any other clue that would enable them to escape unscathed with the flower.
Detect Thoughts. Will just read the woman's superficial thoughts. No mind probes yet.

Mandra shakes her head and blinks, recovering her senses thanks to Sickle's assistance. She immediately bows in a show of respect to the cursed queen of Omu, hoping to both diffuse the situation and avoid her petrifying gaze.
"Your Highness, we are honoured to declare ourselves as humble servants of your house. Your descendent, the displaced Princess Mwaxanare of the Royal House Omu herself has sent us on this errand. She has heard rumours and tales of the beautiful Queen of Omu and her splendid Ka-Nanji, the Hanging Garden of Dreams. The Princess is but a young girl and thus could not make the perilous journey herself, tasking us to come here on her behalf. We only ask that we may be allowed to return to her with a small token of your magnificence, as our words alone will most surely fall short."
(For everyone's clarify, she is wearing a feathery veil that covers her head, shoulders and arms.)
"Ahhh, yes, I'd heard one of my descendents may have fallen in with the bird folk of Kir Sabal. Mwaxanare. I'm sure she will be up to the task of ruling our glorious kingdom once I am ready to pass on the reign. Our armies shall beckon to her." She pauses for dramatic effect. "When she is ready. Until then I continue to lead the power of Omu." She stops again to consider. "So, she wishes one of her great grandmothers flowers does she. Very well. I can certainly part with one of my most precious orchid's. But, she must leave me something in return, a fair trade among family members. I will happily accept something of equal value, perhaps some art or jewelry. Or, I would accept this man servant here, he is pleasing to the eyes." She motions to Sedrik. Sedrik looks around frantically at the group.
