As the possessed human brutally died under her curse, Ashissa places it next to the kneeling Taken to her far right, weakening its unholy strength. She then utters another incantation and releases a beam of crackling energy in the hopes of killing the vile creature.
Bonus Action: Hex (Disadvantage on Strength checks)
Action: Eldritch Blast Attack: 8 Damage: 6 Force Damage
If it hits, Hex: 3 Necrotic Damage
OOC: Since it was a critical hit, here's another Hex 2 Necrotic Damage.

"All of you for your very lives throw anything you can find into the doorway!" Leann yells to the group of huddled people. She follows her own threat and starts piling whatever she can into the doorway, knowing the sand will fill it in that much faster with other things there to stop it from blowing inside. She is not trying to persuade, but to bully and threaten the people into getting moving.
Ashissa’s bolt of energy connects solidly with the Taken’s torso, melting and burning as the flesh around the area of impact sizzles. The human host softly cries out as both his soul and the demon exit the body, leaving his eyes, nose and ears gushing dark, crimson blood.
She feels cold fingers caress her spine as a greenish arc of electricity jumps toward her from the fallen host. She can sense something probing her mind, but her resistance is strong, and the touch leaves her. A demonic roar can be heard above the storm outside as yet another of the Possessed is defeated. The Devil is growing angry.
Leann’s commanding voice surprises the huddled group in the back of the structure, and they murmur to themselves. As she shouts in an impressive display of her dominance, a few of them can be seen standing and scraping the filth from their faces. The stronger villagers begin attempting to push the crates towards the door.
(OOC If anyone inside wants to go help the Barbarian, they’ll of course need to protect their face and eyes against the storm. Speed will be halved unless you are in a Rage (Barbarian) or have some way to motivate yourself against the onslaught. Defending yourself with a shield, etc. will not accelerate your movement.)

Hadar's well-placed hit hadn't been enough and only caused the wretched creature more pain. This was disappointing to him, so he throws a grateful nod over to the other woman for the assist. The energy bolt didn't seem to affect her either, thankfully. He lingers on her eyes to make sure.
He then quickly gives Leann a nod, too. He was also grateful that she had heeded his words and was motivating the others to get the door closed.
Speaking to the room, "Should we block him out or wait?" Hadar had hoped to catch a glimpse of the Barbarian and his situation, but he saw nothing out in the storm.
If he was going to be successful, he'd have to step out. Had it been him out there...
Suddenly making up his mind, he says to the room (mostly to the two women), "I'm going to step outside and look for the Goliath. If I can't see him, then we'll have an clearer answer."
"Keep working, and please leave me a hole." Continuing, "I'll be right back."
Hadar pulls his shield up over his other arm like a hug to block the sand and wind. He then steps out of the doorway to peer outside and around the door towards the North end of town.
Perception to find the Goliath and see what else is coming = 14
“Dammit! I have to perform magic to get people when I could probably have someone help me with some chores!” Devil says, attempting to use suggest: 12. I feel like I shouldn’t be adding stuff like suggest and charm person to my character.

(ooc - Well, Suggest is not a skill I'm aware of. On top of that, what are you suggesting and to who?)
Hadar steps into the storm, his shield blocking some of the grit, but the sand still painfully blasting across his skin and eyes. Every second in this storm could be deadly he knows.
Looking to the North, his instincts kick in, an otherworldly sense of Perception filling his senses. He KNOWS exactly where the Goliath is, even in this storm (15 feet due North).
Remember, your speed is halved in this storm, +10 because we’re in Combat, oh Dread Lord
Surrounding the Barbarian, Hadar can sense 3 humans, presumably Host bodies. No sane person would be out in this weather. He gets the sense that the Barbarian is wounded, but still furiously fighting the demons.
Further to the North, and high in the air, the Ranger faintly senses 2 more humanoids – these must be the guards in the Northwest Tower. Hadar is not sure why the Northeast guards would have left the safety of their tower however…

Seeing and knowing are two different places to be, so Hadar wishes the barbarian well. There are civilians here and they need to be protected.
He looks at the door buried in sand and decides to take a gamble. Stowing his shield in his bag and digging his feet into the sand for leverage, Hadar squats, gripping the door on either side towards its bottom half. Gathering his might, he then tries to lift the door straight up, hopefully, tearing it away from its hinges.
He'll use his rope to use it like an anchor for the crates, if successful. If not, then he'll just move back inside to help the rest.

Athletics Check to break door off its hinges = 18
Hadar's huge muscles bulge as huge strains against the weight of the door. His back feels ready to break, but he keeps pulling, remembering to lift with his legs (OOC LMFAO).
Slowly but surely, the door starts to budge, the hinges grating with rust and sand. With a final surge and a bellow, Hadar sees the top hinge shatter from the pressure, its rusty form no longer able to hold against his strength. The rest of the door falls to the North, the winds threatening to claim it. The lower hinge bends and snaps, a small portion of stone falling from the wall as its anchor is pulled away.
Triumphantly, Hadar... [sets to work with whatever he was planning without needing to roll additional strength checks, but hurry the hell up].

Triumphantly, Hadar hurries the hell up...and ties the door to the crates with a rope from his bag.
With it in place, the door should help plug the entrance, hopefully leaving the hall more insulated from the sand. He even drives a few pitons into the floor at the base of the plug to keep it firmly pressed against the opening.
Hadar sits from the exertion with his back to the plug to further keep it in place and takes a much needed drink from his canteen.
Except for the barbarian outside (may his ancestors bring him strength), Hadar and the remaining citizenry are in the great hall. Will this freaking storm never end?!
He says to the others, "I couldn't see him and a choice needed to be made. Feel free to try for yourselves, but I wouldn't recommend it."
The Devil -
