(Forgot the rule about adding rolls. Added a roll to Fingolin’s cloak to give it value. Tennenaz was originally valued at a 2, Solomon takes 5 damage.)
The group finds themselves rushing down the stairway as each step feels wobbly underneath them. Breaking into the library once more. The grounds even more destroyed than when they left it. The random doorways are now open, the display cases smashed as jewels and jewelry, books and times, a hat, and various other things light up in Brocc’s eyes with detect magic. Does the group make their way down to floor two or run into one of the rooms they haven’t been in yet?
The paintings that once hung on the walls, torn and fallen off and smashed. The windows are broken in as the glass cracks under your footsteps. The tables and shelves are tossed with carious books and scribbling.
The area that used to be busy with studious ghosts now lies dark as they have all disappeared. Various display cases hold rings, trinkets, Jewelry, a hat, all line the walls that lead to doorways into rooms away from the staircase that leads downstairs.
Solomon, battered and bruised, barrels towards the stairs, knocking over display cases in the process. He attempts to pick up a couple of smaller items that spill from their displays as he passes.

Fingolin tried to scavenge on the run, he makes his way pass a shelf to reach for an object. But the ground begins to quake and the shelf falls over on top of him. Scrambling to escape he takes 10bludgeoning damage and comes up empty handed. His body rolls with the momentum as his unconscious form collapses onto the ground.
Brocc Also looks around to see if there is anything worth of value nearby. He bends down to reach for a helmet of some sort, but a falling rock topples him over as he takes 15 bludgeoning damage.
Solomon is a human wrecking ball and instead of trying to nimbly dodge out of the way begins bulldozing the wreckage out of his way with great success as he scoops up two items before heading down the stairs. 11
Tennenaz decides that things aren’t valuable if you can’t use them and runs straight to the stairs. Dodging everything that falls near him.
The group makes their way downstairs. the final stretch until you see the door over the banister of the stairs. The walls continue to shake and looks as if it’s swaying back and forth. The glass chandelier in the foyer falls and explodes as all the shards fly out like a giant grenade. The stones in the wall are falling out piece by piece, the ground is rumbling beneath your feet. The tower is imminently collapsing. And one of the party is knocked out.

Having just lost two companions, old and new, Solomon resolved not to lose a third to this wretched place. He attempts to sling Fingolin over his shoulder, and make a beeline for the door, shouting over the chaos for the others to follow him.
Athletics: 13
Solomon has 20 STR so 300lb carry weight, and has 150lb of stuff on him. Fingolin has 70lb of stuff on him, and I dont know how much he weighs.... so DM, over to you. :)
So the group makes one final dash to get out of the building before it collapses. Solomon runs back and summersaults over Fingolin and on his way up lifts him over his shoulders in one fluid motion to keep running, bringing his fallen companion out of the crumbling tower. Fingolin Death Save: 10 (should be 7)
Tennenaz follows suit and attempts to book it out of the tower to freedom
Tennenaz Athletics check: 7
He stumbles as the building is imposing and falling around him. He gets rocked with a stone chunk of wall as it gets launched towards him. He suffers 14 bludgeoning damage. But he gathers himself and is able to make it out.
The group keeps running to get some distance from the soon to be imploding tower. Hoping to themselves that the blood sucking creatures outside have left the area too. After what seems like forever in an instant they turn back at the tower as it crumbles onto itself. Unlike a normal collapse you can tell the energy from whatever portal sucked in the tower as it turns into a pile of Rubble. Somewhat comforted in the fact that if the portal is opened it’s currently buried under tons of stone and wood. The group catches their breath. Doesn’t seem to be any vile creatures in the area.
Tennezaz curses and glares at the others as if it is there fault this happened, since it his opinion it is because they just had to join with a faction. "So now that we have failed to do as we were sent to do I suppose we can now go off on our own?"
Ignorant of the conversation, and even the collapse of the tower, Solomon lies the unconscious body of his companion on the grass outside the gate they first entered the fortress through. He splashes Fingolin's face with water, and rips a strip of cloth to serve as a makeshift bandage for his head.
Solomon goes to work, tending to the wounds of Fingolin. Working with what he has, he feels sure that the wounds are cleaned and bandaged. Though Fingolin remains unconscious, he appears to be comfortable and stable.
The area is almost silent in the aftermath of the destruction. The birds and insects have scattered away, leaving only the sounds of the rain and thunder. The group remains outside to destroyed tower, two days away from Waterdeep if they choose to head back.

(OOC: Brocc was actually not even aware of anyone being hurt, so maybe next time ask IC about healing, instead of in the OOC PM... I was waiting to be able to notice someone was actually injured, since Brocc had other things going on...)
Having been ask about healing their companion, Brocc breaks off his question about the group's motives and moves over to Fingolin's. He casts cure wounds
Fingolin raises his head with a start: "The portal! Arghh..." Pain washes through him as he goes back down and gently prods at his wounds to find them bandaged. "Thank you, friends! What happened? Is everyone well?"
"You did not make it safely out of one of the rooms and fell unconscious." Tennezaz tells him as his tail flicks in mild irritation, looking over the entire grouo again as he waits hear exactly ehat the plan is now.
"So where to now?" Brocc asks the others. "With the tower gone, I am a bit unsure what my next step is to be. I was studying in the tower when the cataclysm happened, so took refuge there. Now that it is gone..." He looks around with a sigh.
