"So we have one more of this thing!? Let's try to keep that one as one piece. I do not want to deal with a temple full of these things," Fyste will load up his shortbow and shoot J3 with an arrow.
Attack: 20 Damage: 7
If the creature die, he'll use his free hand to grab the lantern and move up behind Reginald.

Even though the jelly had half-cover behind Reginald, Fyste easily placed his arrow into the creature's yellow mass, causing the jelly to spasm in obvious pain.
Leann moveext to Reginald and, using her javalin, stabs at the jelly...
Reginald will yell out, "Seems like my attacks are just splitting the creatures in two, I will move up and gain it attention while you all take it out."
I will move to AC46 and take the dodge action if I can see it around the pillar.

Seruk will move up to try and see the other ooze (z46), if I can see it, let loose with another Magic Missile, otherwise hold Chill Touch in case it moves into the open.
Seruk moves up, and, though the jelly has three-quarters cover, he lets fly with a magic missile spell, the three magical darts easily finding the jelly and slamming into it with powerful impacts.
The guiding bolt blasts into the jelly and leaves it glowing in the darkness. It does not move though, and a quick moment of waiting reveals that it is dead after the attack.
Last Tree Standing gets one of her arrows back, and pokes around in the various piles of goo with one of the broken arrows to see if it ingested any loot.

Qa stumbles into the room. The 6’1” Aarakocra breathed heavily as if he had been hurrying for some time. He was dressed in chain mail and a tabard emblazoned with the company logo. A crossbow was sling over his shoulder and a war hammer hung from his belt. His green feathers swelled and settled as he breathed heavily, showing flashes of red around his neck and arms. “There you guys are. I knew if I followed the trail of bodies I would find you eventually. I see we had a few previous owners who were less than willing to part with their goods. When will people learn that it is always better to find a mutually beneficial arrangement?”
Qa paused a moment as the others looked at him a little blankly. “Oh, sorry. The name’s Qa. I am your new documancer. Roric was called back to Head Quarters for ‘new development opportunities in sanctions and reparations’. Lucky fellow if you ask me. Head Quarters asking for him specifically. Anyway, that left an opening in the franchise and here I am. Kass has been filling me in on the organisation and felt the team could use my skills out in the field. I mean you never know when a contract is going to become important. That’s why you should never get rid of documentation. Even those user manuals they give you when you pick you a new war hammer, I mean how difficult is it to swing a hammer? Even those have crucial pieces of information about warranties and user warnings. Kass just wanted to make sure that this round of acquisitions were documented correctly and no one would have recourse to apply for compensation for unduly acquired goods.”

"Well, guess we should have had the documancer here before now." Leann says with a grin to her companions. She gives the bird-man a nod of greeting. "I am Leann, the company Occultant. You any good at finding secret doors? Seems there may be some to find in here after all." She wears a set of chain mail, with a long sword at her hip and a brace of javalins across her back. The symbol of Torm is on her shield. Flipping her long blond braid from her shoulder and back to her back she glances around the place. She then starts poking around the area herself...

"Well doors and buildings aren't really my forte, as you might say. Noticing details, now that I am good at, so at least maybe that might help. You say there are secret doors around here? Fascinating. I wonder what they..." Leann turns away and starts searching around the room. "Doors. Right. Checking."

OOC: I am guessing that LTS didn't find anything worth keeping in the goo?
Last Tree Standing enjoys playing with the oozy goo for a while, even though it proves to be unprofitable. She joins the search for secret doors and hidden trap doors, also checking to see if any of those pillars has hidey holes bored into them.

Seruk, on investigating the alter, locates a secret door to one side of it.
Fyste looks around the area, trying to see if he can find a hidden door or anything of interest, but only sees dust and stone.
Reginald also looks around, and even tries to knock on some walls, but is unable to find anything of interest.
Leann, poking around as well, after greeting the bird-man, finds a secret door as well.
The new guy, proving his worth already it seems, finds a secret door as well, nodding to an area Fyste just looked over and indicating where the door is. Fyste can see it now that it was pointed out to him.
Last Tree, upon finding nothing in the jelly's remains, starts looking closely at the pillars. With a combination of examining and prodding the pillars, she finds a secret door in one of them.
"Whoa, lots of secrets here," says Last Tree Standing. "Ancient dwarvez waz apparently a tricky old bunch. Which should we open first? I votes for the one in the pillar, becuz it's not likely it leadz anywhere else and should be quick to deal with." She is tempted to just whip it open without waiting for group approval, but if there is another big jelly hiding behind it, her companions might be reasonably POed at her.

At which point I will take out some paper and make a map of the temple noting where each secret door/space is.
