This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Trin attacks the alpha Grick with an enchanted strike, casting booming blade as he strikes with his rapier (to hit: 12) for 12 piercing and 1 thunder damage, which will leave him vulnerable on further movement to an additional 6 thunder damage. The plucky elf moves so deftly that he finds the chance to make another strike (19 to hit) for 5 piercing damage. As talon-tipped tentacles lash about the wizard on all sides, he speaks a word and in a blink disappears from the fray, only to reappear 30 feet away, backtracking to where he had entered (misty step).
OOC: With no map I'm just hoping this doesn't provoke attacks of opportunity. If it takes more than one, then misty step in at the start of the turn and move away from him at teh conclusion if possible to be targeted by no more than alpha grick's attack of opportunity, if possible.)
Edit: looking back, I see Trin had sanctuary cast on him, so the OOC above can be disregarded, irrespective of potential OAs en route to the alpha.

You zip in and strike the alpha with a single blow, then misty step away. The alpha is left covered with thunder energy.
(Booming blade is an action cast spell, so you do not get your second attack, either you do two non-spell attacks or cast a spell, not a combination.)
Shadowlight will stay by Rurik’s side and attack with him.
Shadowlight cannot ready an action to move, so he can just take the dodge action, then move in to join Rurik when it is Shadowlight's turn again, attacking on his next action.

Shadowlight will stay by Rurik’s side and attack with him.
Stigr will launch twin eldritch blasts at the nearest gricks.
Attack: 13 Damage: 8
Attack: 26 Damage: 9
You hit one of the gricks for 5 damage.
Melady shoots at one of the gricks...
Attack: 17 Damage: 9
Melady takes out the grick hit by the eldritch blast, leaving only one normal grick and the alpha.
You zip in and strike the alpha with a single blow, then misty step away. The alpha is left covered with thunder energy.
