(OOC: I will tell you that there was nothing physical to investigate or perception on the pillars. No one had detect magic up, which may have told you a little, but not sure it would have made a difference anyway. You will see shortly that it is not a big deal, so it is more for flavor, at least mostly...)

As the group goes between the pillars the following happens... Just going from lowest roll to highest, so not necissarily in the order you went through the arch.
Stop Thief, make a DC 12 Con save... Take: 31 damage on a failure and half as much on a success. Damage is force.
Norelan, Donkee, and Ellya Morinne, nothing happens when you pass through.
Walter, Secundus, Mache, Shadowlight, and Barinthus all turn invisible.
Rurik, your non-magical weapons start to glow purple.
(OOC: If the perceptions checks don't show any threats then Walt would continue forward)
