Going by the amount of footprints going to the natural-looking tunnel, Stop Thief feels it is fairly clear that is the path most taken. Only a couple sets go up the hall straight, and it appears they went up and then came back.
“Well what we stoppin’ for? If the footprints aren’t enough evidence just ask Grunt which way to go. I’ll wager he says that way (pointing towards the unused path) is just a dead end.”
"Seeing as we are approaching enemies I would suggest keeping silence, if communication is needed raise a fist up and I will use message to relay what you want to say...there will be a slight delay in communication but it can help keep us as silent as possible," Barinthus says to the group in a stage whisper.
Essentially he will cast message at whoever raises the hand, get their message and then cast on whoever they want to tell it to or who would be most effective at carrying out message. (e.g. message is 'I heard something ahead' he would then message person in front with 'stop [insert person] said they heard something')
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Walt would nod to Barinthus and begin walking towards the direction of the boss... muttering a quick prayer to himself in the hope that it might help him to stay quiet as he casts guidance on himself..
“I am for the big boss fella, but does anyone else find it curious there is a random mirror down here? And before we go, maybe Grunt could scout for us?”
Which way did he go at the two tunnels? How far do you want him ahead of the group? I have been keeping him in scouting distance, which means he would know what Stop Thief and Ellya know. If you want him out further than that let me know...

Donkee will say " what? No yapping? Well soon as we attack, I am gonna shout something to make up for lost jabber time, hehehe. Grunt isnt very stealthy and shouldn't be put in harm's way unnecessarily. I disagree it is odd for a random mirror to be hanging in a dungeon. We should check it out after we kill the boss man and take his stuff."

[OOC: how are the two paths lit?]
Stop Thief chitters and tries to get the party to follow him up the stairs.
Gash - Lvl14 Goblin Wizard - The High Court of the Aasimar Queen
there are no stairs.
The paths are lit the same, they are not lit at all.

Donkee will ask Grunt. " hey Grunt, is the path ahead a dead end or worth looking at or should we follow the footprints to loot?"
"Just mirror that way..." Grunt says, nodding down the hall. "Big boss that way..." He nods to the more natural-looking path.

How is Mache's invisible sleuthing going?

Mache likes Stop Thief, and would sneak out ahead of S.T. to be sure that he is safe.

Assuming he goes into the rough tunnel then, since you did not specify... He finds tunnels as he continues onward, but does not go far past the group.
“So does our super sleuth have any idea which tunnel we’re to take? Or shall be just start traveling down one?”
Ellya look quizzically at the members of the party. She shrugs her shoulders and starts to proceed down the more natural looking path.
Stealth: 12+1

Then more quietly he says " yeehaw..."

“Straight it is,” Rurik says following Ellya and shrugs his shoulders.
(OOC how many tunnels are we passing on left and right sides as we progress forward?)
Walt would continue moving down whichever path was indicated to lead towards the boss... Trying to keep himself between his companions and any danger.
