As the two goblins come around a corner in the passage you see that they are not at all dressed like the ones you have fought up to this point. They each have several skulls hanging from their belt, and a sack over their shoulders that sound like something inside rattles together as they walk. They clearly are surprised to see you, and you can each have an action if you wish. I will give you the option to use your held actions now or change them. There are only two goblins...

Ellya strikes with her Short Sword, then uses a bonus action to disengage and move back to let the melee-suited party members get a clear path forward.

Stop Thief will run right up next to the goblins, he then stands there and waits until one of his teammates is standing next to him then he does his held action with a poke of a rapier.

Walt Initiative! 16
Walt would sling his crossbow around to his back and draw his longsword and shield, rushing towards the goblins and swinging hard down upon the small creature.

Norelan will move forward with his long-sword and stay to the wall "Watch out you guys, might have some traps laid around if there's only the two of em." He says as he tries to get behind the two of them while staying to the wall.

Mache is paranoid about there being more goblins, and will use his invisible form to continue scouting (Stealth 20)
Secundus will hold his action until the goblins are dead, and then cast minor illusion to create the sound of Goblins cheering, in the hopes of making anyone potentially coming next believe that all was okay
Ellya moves up and strikes at the uninjured goblin, leaving him bloody, but up still. Then Stop Thief will move up, and stand next to the goblins, doing nothing.
Mache moves past the goblins, and doesn't see anything else coming behind them. these two appear to be truly alone. Mache would also notice, as would Stop Thief and Ellya, who got close to the goblins, that they are not even wearing armor, and appear to only have a dagger apiece, so not really even armed. Both goblins look truly frightened out of their minds.
After Mache flies overhead, the two goblins turn to flee. (Using Stop Thief's held attack roll for an attack of oppertunity on one of them...) Stop thief misses his attack, and the goblins flee back around the bend.
I will stress to Stop Thief and Ellya, as well as Mache, though he probably wouldn't mind regardless, the goblins appeared unarmored and unarmed. After the surprise of the encounter wore off just a bit the others would realize that their attacks, those that hit, seemed quite easy to land, while Stop Thief would realize he was just barely missing attacks that should have been very easily defended against. All-in-all you are fairly certain you just attacked two non-fighters, and probably people that were of no threat or danger to the group. (I'd say anyone with a 'good' alignment should feel really really bad about this...)
What do you do now, the goblins are just finishing their turn in the initiative, and have moved 60 feet back down the passage from you...

“Well that could have gone better. Feelin kinda bad by the whole thing. Poor guys didn’t even seem to know what they were doin. Shadowlight let’s try to go tackle em and see what’s goin on and why these fools be runnin around here unprepared.”

“Oy, come on now. Settle down. This was a misunderstandin’ guys. Come let me patch ya back up.”
I will say that Shadowlight can probably catch one of the goblins if you want him to tackle the guy. They are moving at dash plus movement speed, so 90 feet per round.
Ellya moves forward 15' and casts Grease beneath the fleeing goblins, then turns her head back towards the party and says, "Anyone here speak actuul Goblin?"

Yeah. Just pounce and hold for Rurik to catch up. Preferably the injured one.
