Barinthus for the time being lets the others take the lead in handling the newcomer, not particularly feeling the need to introduce himself unless it is determined that they would be working with him for some reason. Looking to Donkee he wonders if there will soon be a recruitment pitch.
(of course there will be a recruitment pitch, lol..)
" Well, why don't you just hang out with us Iggy, we can wack the bad guys together and you too can be a world famous Adventurer as part of the Company of Dragons, waterdeep division. Thanks for the future donation of yur Skull to the skulletarium...Its for science. We just happen to have an opening for treasure/loot holder guy as our pal StopThief had to head back home for some important business. Barinthus is our paperwork guy, he can get you signed up all legal like"
Donkee will offer Iggy a mushroom-honey bar to seal the deal.
"If I'm here by my own will I probably should be here. If I get into danger I'll just go back inside and wait it out." He pats the plastron of his shell, which you now notice has a small, colorful flower here and there.
Iggy takes the mushroom-honey bar offered to him and takes a bite. "Thanks, little dude. I was getting some serious munchies sitting in hanging out in my shell for so long." After finishing the bar, which really just takes about two bites, he looks down the hall in the direction of the watchtower. "Famous? Far out, man. I don't really trust the man though, man. Are the dragon dudes cool? StopThief is a weird name, but I know how to keep treasures safe. I've been keeping the forest safe for 20 years, man. Hey, did you know that only I can prevent forest fires?.. Or was it you?.."

"Did'ja bring some weapons, then? Ya have some trainin' in combat? Here why don't you take a shield?" Ellya hands the tortle the shield that was hanging from her rucksack.
Barinthus rubs his forehead in mild annoyance but draws the appropriate paperwork before presenting it to the turtle and explaining the provisions as well as were to sign.

Rurik sneaks up the tunnel a ways, until he reaches the outpost. He spots 4 bugbears hanging out in a room ahead, and a passage that goes West from here.
"Who goes there?" One of the bugbears calls out in common, as he and another glance towards Rurik's approach. The other two frown, but grip their weapons as well, turning towards the tunnel Rurik is in.
"I learned fighting before I could speak, man. Check it out." Iggy doesn't take the shield. He grabs the club from his belt and it starts glowing with a dull green light, casting Shillelagh. "Nature got some pretty tight magic stuff."
It doesn't really seem like Iggy understands a lot, if any, of the paperwork or provisions, but he gladly takes a pen and signs. Maybe not signs. Draws really. A pretty flower with small stars around it. "Sorry dude. I don't know how to do the squiggles.", he shrugs.
He then notices the others moving and get's ready to go himself.

Walt would move towards the bugbears, putting himself between the enemies and his companions. "Hey... Are you fuzz balls friendly like this turtle man over here?" He would say as he points to the tortle with his longsword. The end of his large shield would rest on the ground as he locked eyes with the creatures.

“The name is Rurik, Rurik Ironfist. Sorry to intrude, just takin the dog out for a stroll. Be careful down here guys there was a couple of jellies back that way. Nearly got me and the pooch. But I digress, we didn’t mean to bug ya. We’ll just be moving along.”
Rurik will move to the side to draw their attention away from the hall behind him to keep their attention on him and not whoever else may be coming out of the hallway behind him shortly. Also to be in a better flanking position.
“Oh hey have ya fellas ever heard of Torm. He is a mighty compassionate god....” and he progresses in conversing while moving to keep their attention.

How far are you going, and are you trying to be stealthy? You know that there is a watchpost ahead already...
When the party starts moving again, Ellya will not be taking point. She will be at least 10 feet behind Walt and be on the lookout for traps.
I am going for stealth sorry. I want to get within view of the post. Stealth 15
