Before stepping into the next room Rurik will cast Divine Sense. Then he will proceed into the room, mumbling, “Don’t need no more derned pots and pans clocking us again.”

Your divine sense does not detect anything further.
Trin glances at the rug first to see if there is any information important enough to sit down and weave or perhaps a sigel of the room's occupant.

Then, he looks to the stack of books on the desk and attempts to decipher enough to identify them.

You notice that three of the summoning circle's activation glyphs have been erased. You realize though that you can reconstruct the circle and, with blood or paint, reapply the missing glyphs in 6 minutes.
The desk has twenty old books on it. Each book is blank and can be sold for 10 gp.
Trin, after studying the floor for a bit, and discovering blank books, points to the markings on the floor and announces, "That was a summoning circle. I had hoped there was some clue about what was being summoned, but those books are blank. If you want to put them in the bag, we could probably sell them when we get out of here."
His expression grows darker as his gaze lays upon the sigels inscribed on the floor ... " I 'could' repair it in just a few minutes, but should I? We have no idea what might come through."
Stigr will frown at the erased circle, "Why only erase some of it, then cover it up with a rug? Why not erase all of it, or just cover it without erasing anything? I vote finish it and see what happens."
(OOC is there another exit to this room besides the door we came in? I didn’t see that posted)
Rurik will take that same time to Cast Find Steed and bring back Shadowlight.
“Does anyone got the time? Is this a good place to camp out for the night? Doesn’t seem like it’s gotten much use in ages.” Rurik says as he looks around at the disheveled room.

This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
As soon as the circle is completed a figure appears inside of it. He is clearly drunk, but raises his hands in the ways of spellcasting, clearly intent on attacking.

Maximus will also take a look around the room helping anyone that might need help.
Summoning Circle. Under the old rug, painted on the stone floor, is a 10-foot-diameter summoning circle that has been partially erased.

Melady stays by the door, keeping an eye on the previous chamber.

Maximus will go over and study the circle and the books to see if he can make anything of them on the religion side of things.

You learn nothing knew. The books are actually just blank books, and the circle is arcane in design.
"Want me to try that chest then?" Melady asks from the doorway. "If so, can someone else keep an eye out?" She nods to the locked chest.
Stigr will send his imp to watch and move to help Melady with the chest.

At Maximus' encouragement, Trin finds the necessary Ink and writing tools in his satchel and proceeds to complete the circle.

"If we do need a rest, I can conjure us a tiny hut to sleep in." Trin replies the Rurik, as he completes the circle.
Nope, this is the end of this area.
Melady moves to the chest and, with help given, tries to open it iwht her tools.

The lock clicks open, a slightly electric hiss telling of a magical trap that managed to get bypassed.
