An open sarcophagus stands at the back of this dusty crypt, its heavy stone lid lying on its side between the sarcophagus and the south wall. The north-facing side of the sarcophagus bears faded frescoes of spear-wielding warriors charging across golden plains on horseback.
Robar walks quietly behind the others, waiting for his talents to be needed, but glad to let his new companions take the lead into what could be a dangerous situation. He whispers up ahead.
"Is that sarcophagus empty? In my experience sarcophagi contain either cool treasure, a bad monster, or a trap...or all three."

Damrius recalls a story about warriors such as these, but is unsure how it relates to this place and time.
Bulvii doesn't come up with anything for what is being kept here.
As Gralmor starts bashing the crypt, one of his blows smashes through a thin layer of plaster...
A cavity below that contains a human mummy floating in a shallow pool of red brine. The mummy has two moonstones (50 gp each) embedded in its eye sockets.
Thorik doesn't sense anything with his divine sense.
Zogri will be standing at the entrance of the room.
We should not be meddling with the dead! As divine warriors you should know better than to disturb graves.
He says with visible contempt of these grave robbers.
Angered by this display of the so called holy men Zogri will think of what his best action might be. Unsure if his companions are much better then the cult they are fighting.
Damrius turns to Zogri. You misunderstand friend I have no interest in any valuables I am merely intrigued as to who is inside. The mounted horsemen on this sarcophagus are incongruous with Myrkul and my curiosity as been aroused
The sarcophagus was already open, the lid laying against the wall. The plaster bottom of the sarcophagus was just bashed open as Gralmore defaced the sarcophagus. The mummy is in the bottom of the sarcophagus's secret chamber.
Let me know if you do anything else here or are moving onward...
Since Zogri is already out in the tunnel he will take point for a bit untill they see a corner or side tunnel.
He will have his bow at the ready. Eager to find some fresh air he move with a steady but carefull pace (not stealth).

After a bit you come to another side room...
An open sarcophagus stands at the back of this dusty crypt, its heavy stone lid lying on its side between the sarcophagus and the south wall. The north-facing side of the sarcophagus bears faded frescoes of spear-wielding warriors charging across golden plains on horseback.
"Heh heh heh, the gray protector would be pleased with this."
Gralmor stays at the altar for a bit as he scours through any valuable ornaments it has before smashing it into debris.
"What have they been keeping down here?" Bulvii wonders aloud.
Guess this might be insight or perception;

Thorik will close his eyes as his right gauntlet glows slightly. He will use Divine Sense.

Thorik doesn't sense anything with his divine sense.
Gralmor pockets the said moonstones before informing the group of the submerged mummy he found.
What is everyone doing now?
Damrius will open the sarcophagus
Hearing Gralmore's report of the mummy, Robar pulls a small amount of tension on his bow string, not enough to fire, but certainly ready to.
"Best to make sure the thing isn't going to rise up. How do you make sure a dead thing is well and truly dead? Slide a dagger across its throat?"

"Maybe something of a more divine nature." Thorik has his axe in hand and is at the ready.
Zogri will be standing at the entrance of the room.

Damrius’ curiosity is satiated and is happy to press on
Waiting on posts from Dalin and Bulvii, as well as anyone else who has not posted yet. Will move on when everyone is ready to do so.
Thorik is slightly on edge and wary, but ready to move on.
Gralmore hangs a grin on his face as he wants to continue their venture forward in the prospects of finding more of these sarcophaguses.
