Ahkota runs forward and starts to shout sharp words laced with magic, casting Vicious Mockery at the first Lizard

The first two Lizards attempt to free themselves from the vines and grasses.

 Neither managing to break free, the third one rushes Xandar, trying to get a meaty bite of him.

 The Lizard bites into hard metal, finding neither flesh nor purchase.

(It appears Ahkota will be retiring from the adventure early. I will take control of his character until such time for him to retire as well.)

Thasla moves to within 30 feet from Lizard 1 and throws a javelin at it.

Grim moves up to about ten feet south of the grappled lizards, and prepares to defend. (Dodge)

After successfully defending against the lizards attacks, Xandar himself went on the offensive. He tried to bring his warhammer down onto the beast in one swift stroke. "Die!.", he muttered under his breath, while fighting against the beast.

Maintaining his concentration on the grasping vines, Sihnion moves closer to the entangled lizards.

Tamoda moves forward, keeping pace with his friends...raises his bow and

Xandar's hammer comes down, landing solidly on the back of the creature, at the same time, two projectiles whip by to his right, a javelin and arrow, each finding their targets with great efficiency.

Bloodied, the lizards try once again to free themselves...

 The first one breaking free, it darts towards the woods, hissing along the way.

Meanwhile, Lizard 3 disengages and retreats, following the first Lizard.

During this, Ahkota moves up alongside Grim, granting him bardic inspiration (1d6), and also dodges.

Thasla runs toward Lizard 2, unsheathing her longsword and slashing at it.

Attack: 12 Damage: 14

If possible, she takes a quick glance at the footprints that the fleeing lizards are making, and whether they match the footprints of the monster they are tracking.

Sihnion summons a ball of flame, which he hurls towards the remaining entangled lizard.
Produce flame: 15 Damage: 7

Move forward another 30 Feet, and remaining lizard Longbow Attack: 15 Damage: 4

Tamoda - That ought to do it.  let's have a look at these tracks. Are these lizards ed, edi, ediful?  Yea that's it.  Ediful!

Grim looks at the others and barks “the job isn’t done yet!” He’ll run up to between the furthest and closest lizards, use An action Surge to unstrap his shield and pull out his longbow, firing at the furthest lizard

As a matter of fact the lizard's tracks seem remarkably similar, albeit MUCH smaller.

The lizard, still struggling in the vines, meets it's end under a hail of fire and arrow. 

Meanwhile, Grim's shot is intercepted by the trees between him and his target.
