Sinsil, wandering up over the break work is finished will say. "Remember the mask on the corpse previously. Be careful what you take and make sure it's not going to get us killed." She is eyeing the pendant as she says this.
"Yeah, we wouldn't want to risk another tough fight like that," quips Zubin. He helps himself to the pectorals. "Lootmaster," he calls to Shieldbiter, "we have shinies." To Sinsil he adds, " I'm really curious about that lamp down in the center. Did they light it before sealing the tomb, as some sort of ceremonial guide for the dead?"
Sinsil will waive the comment off. "Just because we've gotten lucky doesn't mean we should waste effort fighting that could have been avoided with a little caution."
As soon as Zupin pries up the lamp a hidden door opens in the floor nearby. Out of that hole a figure emerges...
Creature initiative: 22
Everyone roll initiative and post what your action will be. The creature is towards the center of the room, near the dome. I will not be doing a map unless it becomes necessary.

Initiative 2
Standing at the door, Shieldbiter looks over his shoulder, "Zubin, not everything is a shiny piece of goodness....buuut I guess I can take a look." And he begins moving back towards the dome. As soon as he sees the creature appear, his hands go to the hilts of his swords and he rushes forward with abandon. "Guys, look out!"
Shieldbiter while rushing forward lets loose his Breath Weapon, as he roars, sending lighting straight at the creature.(once he is in range for a 5 by 30ft. line of lightning) Damage: 9 (DEX DC 13, half damage on success)
Then as he swoops in upon the creature to get close enough for melee, he will come in swinging both swords in hand. Shieldbiter (OOC: yes i named that cool sword after myself haha): Attack 16 Damage: 11 (+ 8 against plant type creatures) Sword 2: Attack 17 Damage: 3
Opal will rush forward, attack with both shortswords, then move away 30 feet (not provoking an opportunity attack due to fancy footwork and extending move distance using feline agility).

Rik will move to be within 30ft of the creature and casts hideous laughter (wis 16 saving throw - if it fails, it falls to the floor laughing, and is incapacitated) He’ll then use whatever’s left of his movement to back away and duck behind some statue for some cover.

Almost too-fast to follow, Opal rushes the creature even as it steps out of the hole it was in. One of her short swords finds a gap in the creature's studded leather, wounding it, but drawing no blood. The wound does not appear to be as bad as it should have been either. The second blade misses all-together. She then moves away, out of reach of the creature once more.

Zubin slashes back at the creature, hitting with both short swords, again the creature seeming only to take a portion of the damage.

Opal and Sinsil were close to Zubin when the thing emerged, so it's likely they'll be close enough to trigger the rogue's sneak attack ability.

Ethan's magical blade appears to have damaged the creature with the amount of damage expected. The creature is also outlined in crackling energy.
