The creature falls to the ground, laughing in a horrifying voice.
Cas is up. You can definitly have both hand crossbows in hand, but you have nothing that allows you to use the second one. Let me know what you do, the creature is currently laying on the ground laughing and is prone. Roll attack and damage.
“Well, right now it’s probably not going to fight back - you could try and tie him up, but I doubt he’s all that well informed!” Rik shouts, a decidedly nervous tone to his voice as he frantically readies his next spell
Dice rolls do not do much good without damage rolls to go with them. Also, please use the combat section of the roller if you can, since that auto figures critical hits.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Zubin's in trouble.
He manages a quick deke to dodge the creature's first blow - almost - but the second hits him square (Reaction: Uncanny Dodge). Only then does it occur to him that the thing might be targetting him specifically as the one who grabbed the lamp. Bleeding profusely, the half-elf puts as much distance - and blades - between him and the creature as he can and tries to recover his breath - and some health.
Bonus Action: disengage (Cunning Action)
"I should've grabbed the pendant instead," he mutters.
Cas, please just roll both damages as if they hit. I will tell you what happens after that. Going forward I want everyone to roll attack and damage, just in case it hits, to keep from slowing htings down. Thanks.
As Cas's hand crossbow fires, and the bolt hits the creature, he appears to take damage from the bolt, but it appears to not be as much as you would think.
As Cas's bolt hit the creature he pulls out of the hold of Rik's spell, the damage having giving him the willpower to break free of the spell's hold. He grimly stops laughing.
Rik casts his spell...

“Anyone able to subdue this guy and maybe garner any information that may be of value......or shall we just destroy him?”
(OOC: If we move to attack and I am close enough I would continue with my prior sword attacks.)
Yep, sounds good.

When it gets back to Rik, he’ll keep concentrating on Hideous Laughter and fling out Vicious Mockery - Wis16 save, 4 damage on a fail.
“Thou mountain of mad flesh!”
ETA: as a bonus action, can he cast Healing Word on Zubin, as Vicious Mockery is a cantrip? If so, 9 hp
“Stop bleeding!”
