Wiping sweat from his face, Shieldbiter gives a sigh of relief that part is over. A hopeful grin appears on his maw as he sees the potential of moving forward clear and upwards. He begins to walk and then notices the rollers. “Ha, should we have your zombie push us while we rest?” He begins to look around more as the others join him on this side of the rock.
A ramp leads gently up from south to north. Set in the floor at two-foot intervals are smooth stone cylinders that apparently function as rollers.
At the top of the ramp you find...
This is a spacious, vaulted hall, weathered and cracked from the ravages of time. The walls are charred and scored. Scattered around the floor are several stone statues of baboon-like creatures, chipped and tipped over. The remains of a few once-living baboons, partially eaten, lie nearby, with fungus covering their corpses.
The effort takes more out of Zubin than he expected. He chides himself or pushing so hard so soon. Keeping a wary eye on the zombie, he takes a seat on the ground beside his pack to recoil his rope. "Rollers?" he asks. "How close together are they? Are they made of metal or wood?"

If that is meant as a question for me, then please see my last post, it tells about the rollers.
Zubin grabs his back and lurches to his feet. Hustling to catch up, he soon finds himself looking around the hall with the rest of the party...though still keeping a bit of distance between himself and the zombie.

"Shall we find where it leads to? Processional halls tend to progress somewhere, but I don't doubt there'll be some unpleasant trap - some revolting ritual monster to overcome if the rest of the place is anything to go by"

As you continue onward Sinsil notices something ahead of the group.
Ahead, something spherical floats in the air at about chest height. The sphere has a central eye and about a dozen tentacles growing out of its top. Each appendage has a white sphere with a black pupil at its tip.

You are about 50 feet away when Sinsil notices it.

Sinsil gives a curt laugh. She'll have the zombie pick her up and carry her up the ramp.
Rik will squeeze through the gap and start to amble up the ramp behind Shieldbiter
"Not that I begrudge you your palanquin Sinsil, but might they also be employed to amble up there and see if anything attacks?"

Opal steps away from the zombie, giving a short hiss of disgust.

“What a grand hall this must have been.”
Shieldbiter steps over to one of the statues to see what he can find including if it has eyes similar to the statue they found earlier.

Nothing new comes from the closer look.
Sinsil will send the zombie forward and start moving forward with it. Keeping an eye out for danger.

This hall is very long, you start heading forward and soon figure out it is some sort of processional hall.
Zubin grabs his back and lurches to his feet. Hustling to catch up, he soon finds himself looking around the hall with the rest of the party...though still keeping a bit of distance between himself and the zombie.
Sinsil's Noble blood shines through and she turns up her nose a bit and walks like she's leading a parade.
Give me a perception check Sinsil...

Shieldbiter let’s put a low whistle, “Look at the size of this place.”

“Yes please.”
Zubin - rather uncharacteristically - holds his peace while looking around. He has his weapons ready, however.

(Apparently he's preoccupied.)
