This enormous chamber is thirty feet tall with mighty buttressing and a vaulted ceiling. Parts of the ceiling and walls have collapsed, and raw earth has spilled down from a gaping hole in the east wall. Crushed beneath a fallen block in the center of the room are humanoid remains. Elsewhere around the floor are the chewed and decayed corpses of apes. Through a hole in the eastern ceiling, daylight and fresh air filter in. Above, through this gap, can be seen three apes, they jump around the hole and scream in agitation, and as they do, dirt begins to slide down the banks and rocks in the walls shift slightly.

As you come more into the chamber, you spot another set of double doors in the south eastern section of the chamber. There is also a large rubble pile in the center of the chamber, with what look to be crushed bodies under it.
Sinsil looks at the rubble pile and the crushed bodies. "They are clearly apes... Not monkeys. Regardless, they pose a threat of crumbling the roof on on is of a we continue and they must be dealt with." Sinsil will begin casting mind sliver unless anyone stops her she's going to hurt the nearest ape. Intelligence DC 15 or take 7 psychic damage.
"Hold on, hold on," interjects Zubin. He's walking towards the corpses near the center. "They're up there, we're down here, and they seem to be focused on the east. There's no rush. Let's see if our competition has anything interesting." He keeps talking as he examines the remains. "And anyway... Can't we use some sort of distraction, some minor illusion, to lure the apes away from the wall while we work on the door?"
Apes are 30 feet above you, outside on the ground above. There are dead ape corpses down here, but not any living ones. The bodies under the rubble pile appear to be humanoid as you get closer. you also notice something moving among the rubble pile, just in time, as a trio of snakes slither out to attack.
The half-elf's bow is still ready for action. Keeping about 40 ft. between him and the serpents, he takes a shot at the one closest to a teammate - preferably one already wounded.
Attack: 22
Damage: 6 plus 8 if it's within 5 ft of one of us.
"I've changed my mind," Zubin announces to no one in particular. "Let's get some of those apes down here to help."
Shieldbiter will run full sprint towards the creatures. On his way there he will hope to catch the closest one with his sword, moving through them one at a time if able.
“Well, I was going to calm emotions so that the Apes don’t attack, but those things look like they’re open to conversation - let’s make boots from their skins!”
Rik will cast bane on the three snake-things - dc16 charisma saves from them, and as a bonus action, cast healing word on Sinsil, as she looks the most in need - “Those bruises clash horribly with your robes!” 8

Opal moves right in and attacks one of the two-headed snakes. Both slices hit and leave bloody rents in the snake's scales.
Ethan casts flaming sphere and has the fire sphere hit one of the snakes. He then moves up to threaten that snake as well, forcing it to either take an attack of oppertunity or the damage from the sphere again.
Fire damage 7 Snake dex save: 10
Shieldbiter moves in and attacks the one with Opal fighting it. He lands three attacks (you get another attack, Action Surge gives you your full attack action, so you get your full two attacks on your action surge round as well... The snake had only 4 HP left when Zupin's round finished with, so I just let him finish him off.)

It then attacks Ethan... bite Attack: 11 Damage: 9 If Ethan is still up the snake will try to constrict Ethan... Attack: 11 Damage: 11
