"Your wisdom is overpowering, Gotemash. Although before we move on, I admit I am a bit parched..."
(Any modifiers? I likely have advantage via Gnome Cunning; but also +5/+3/+2 Int/Wis/Cha on saving throws. Here are two unmodified rolls for you: ) 20 and 1
"Nah. Probably best we move on."
You will probably prefer the 20 and the wisdom modifier would probably be the most appropriate, but I am easy going unless it's a critical plot issue.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Ogre2 gets upset at the smell of his burning ogre buddy and he hurries over to smash someone in revenge. He doesnt spot Yessica through the nasty smoke, nor does he see anyone that is behind the bend in the crook of the north and east portions of the shrine. He sees Noa standing triumphantly over the corpse of orc10 and so he moves to attack the Wiley Noa. He takes a horizontal swipe at Noa, hoping to break the monk in two.
Attack: 22 Damage: 7
Ogre 3 after getting slapped by the tentacle for 4 dmg, brushes it aside and attempts to wack Kuori into mush.
Attack: 14 Damage: 11
Orc5 will exit the gatehouse via the hole in the outer wall and move to circle around to attack from a different direction.
Orc 6 will attempt to bolt across the courtyard to go after Yessica into the north eastern crook of the shrine. And he will make an attack with his great axe against the lady in black
If you insist! At the time I was feeling pretty nervous due to crypt skeleton. Daishi is realistically a little shaken from that. He seems to resist the lure, but if the others want to look in the well he will help.
((Uh... Quick question because 1: I'm pretty sure Noa's gonna be mush if he takes one more hit and 2: I'm putting the Thinking Cap on. XD
Also, I think an image to show where everyone is at would be nice right about now.
What action would it take if I...
A. Use Noa's spear to blind the ogre
B. Use his spear or something else to fight dirty and throw sand at the ****er
C. Use a melee attack to knock the ogre prone
I'm pretty new to rolls used for creative solutions for otherwise fatal problems. Also, tag team takedown anyone?
P.S. I hope everyone had a happy holiday. I've been working during the holidays but the dinners were excellent as usual. :D ))
"Sometimes discretion is the better part of valor." The words of your master come floating out of the abyss.
(Fighting the ogre single handed might not be the best option for you. I will post up an updated version. I want to make a grid to overlay so people can I'd the exact spot they wish to move. This battle is a practice run for much bigger battles to come some need to work out the kinks)
( creative rolls 101- if it involves physical power like lifting, pushing, pulling its Str. If it involves agility, tumbling, jumping, balance etc...its dex.)
"By Pelor's beard!" Tibby exclaims after the beetle bites him. "Worst wine shrine ever!" Tibby resumes his monument to rally with Kouri giving her Bardic Inspiration as a bonus action and vicious mockery on ogre 3. 4 wis save 13. "Your skin is the same color as a my poo after eating not quite apples."
Kuori side-steps away from the impact of the ogre's club and makes a slash at the arm holding its weapon before spinning on her heel and trying to plunge her other shortsword into the ogre's ribs, just beneath its other arm.
"This place suggests dangerous magic - we will be better off slaking our thirst from proven sources. Nevertheless, where there's danger there's opportunity, I always say. I'm mighty curious about this well..."
He turns to Daishi. "This owl servant of yours - I can only assume he is your employee, human. Has he reported the contents of the well? I'd offer to go peek myself with a rope around my waist, but I'm afraid my stupendous strength might overpower the lot of you, should I be charmed by Fae magic."
Seeing the Ogre is thoroughly involved in combat with Kuori, he will take advantage and try and stick him in the back with one of his nasty multipointed arrows
Skip would move into the rubble 10ft to his east while holding his crossbow in one hand and placing his other hand on his spoon. Noticing the first ogre was dead, Skip would close his eyes and focus his hex on the ogre facing off against Kuori. The husky halfling would then pull his spoon from his belt and point it towards the ogre (ogre 3) and cast Guiding Bolt as a streak of radiant light crashes down from the sky....
Attack: 6 Damage: 15 (Rolling a second attack roll In case I had advantage of inspiration if forgot about for some reason? 23)

Goblins 3,4,5 will leave the tower1 and move to the north western corner of the shrine at block F10 and shoot at the ogre2 and hide behind the wall of the shrine.
Noa felt the blow alright but as soon as he realized he was staring down an ogre, he spun his spear so fast, faked a lunge and made an upward swipe so that the tip of his spear would at least scrape or gouge an eye or two of the ogre before retreating northeast into tower 2 with Bree.
"Hi. Got any daggers?" He smiled at the halfling as he felt the pain from the ogre's strike.
Two Handed Spear Attack...Attack: 17 Damage: 9
Noa then uses Step of The Wind to Disengage and retreat to X4 or V6. Preference on X4 though since it looks like it'll be easy to trap Ogre 2.

Seeing Noa take a nasty hit and Noa's spear clipmthe ogres face, Goblins 1 and 2 in tower 2 will pop up and shoot into the ogres face and return to hiding behind the crenalations.
G1 Attack: 22 Damage: 6
G2 Attack: 24 Damage: 5
Goblin 1s arrow sticks into the ogres cheek and and goblins 2s arrow pings into the ogres thick forehead and bounces off.

While outside the shrine it's you then the bad guys ( it's bad guy turn) in order that you post it. Early bird gets the worm.
When you enter the shrine i think we will reroll so I dont have to dig it up.

Apparently the Ogre is too dumb to understand the insult

Gotemash - On 2nd thought, let's go to the crypt, and sort that out first, yes? Which way do we go, Sir?
