Polly shouts out "There's another one! There's another one!" and excitedly points at the in combining construct to make sure nobody could possibly miss it's existence. "Ho! Ho! Hooooo weee!" Fran would ground herself as firm as she could in place, preparing herself for the ride of her life. She couldn't lie. She was fired up with excitement. Grease - Speaking of pig mobile... Fran would like to huck some grease for a potential slip and slide for our new friends. Any restrictions on that?
"You say don't back down so here we go, but lets be smart. If it's hostile we need to tip it or kill the driver," Adray says. He then revs the machine loud and continues forward. He's prepared to swerve one way or the other if it starts launching things at us.

Choir initiative: 16
If the Pigmobile gets within 60 feet, Choir will cast Shatter on it: affects everyone within a sphere with a 10-foot radius, 24 damage, con save DC16 to take half damage. (Cover should not matter.)

Polly is pointing and waving and making sure everyone sees the other vehicle. She makes sure she has as good a grip as she can on their own vehicle and is otherwise running through plans and attacks and possibilities in her head, and possible slightly aloud. She doesn't yet attack though, not sure if they are going to try to just outrun them or what so she holds off for now...
((Not going to retcon her doing Enlarge/Reduce when they get in range just 'cause I now see others are attacking from further range. So her first round is just her trying to be sure she is all secure and safe to cast when she does...))
(Do Adray and Ordrag remember that they are not at full health? And need Adray/Tormentor Initiative)
Lulu Initiative: 16
The Dead Grinder appeared to be surprisingly fast for it's size and was getting closer by the seconds, burning everything they had in there, it seems. Ordrag was first to begin the combat, managing to hit the relatively small creature behind similar harpoon (Wererat 1 hit).
Machine did not stop, though, and might get closer pretty soon.
Distance is 120 ft, do Polly and Choir wait with chosen spells until distance is shorter or try something now? Fran can can go now too (Brutus should wait - the car speed is 3 times faster than him).
After Odrag attacks, and with the machine still too far away to Reduce, Polly changes her planned attack. Spying out a particularly big and mean looking boar who seems to be driving the thing, Polly utters "Saethu trwy'r galon, stopio gyrru'r peth yna ... Rydych chi'n rhoi enw drwg i yrru!" while making an arcane hand sign and thrusting it towards the approaching vehicle, casting a first level Magic Missile at the driver of the other vehicle and striking it with three darts of magical force.
The biggest and meanest boar there would the driver (most likely one of the warlords of the waste Maggie mentioned). MM of course hit most likely leaving him unhappy enough (with the wind, engines screeching and rumbling on both sides you can not tell). The chase continued.
Chase rules (Adray is leading here, starting distance 120 ft, cars speed - 100ft)
Running the Chase
Participants in the chase are strongly motivated to use the Dash action every round. Pursuers who stop to cast spells and make attacks run the risk of losing their quarry, and a quarry that does so is likely to be caught.
Dashing
During the chase, a participant can freely use the Dash action a number of times equal to 3 + its Constitution modifier. Each additional Dash action it takes during the chase requires the creature to succeed on a DC 10 Constitution check at the end of its turn or gain one level of exhaustion.
A participant drops out of the chase if its exhaustion reaches level 5, since its speed becomes 0. A creature can remove the levels of exhaustion it gained during the chase by finishing a short or long rest.
Spells and Attacks
A chase participant can make attacks and cast spells against other creatures within range. Apply the normal rules for cover, terrain, and so on to the attacks and spells.
Chase participants can’t normally make opportunity attacks against each other, since they are all assumed to be moving in the same direction at the same time. However, participants can still be the targets of opportunity attacks from creatures not participating in the chase. For example, adventurers who chase a thief past a gang of thugs in an alley might provoke opportunity attacks from the thugs.
Choir will wait with her shatter until they are in range, and instead, cast Cure Wounds on Ordrag for now, since he looks in pretty bad shape. 18 points healed.

Adray is pretty torn. That pigmobile has got significant bulk and more weapons compared to them but is keeping up at a pretty good pace. He's not sure that he can outrun them but he's got faith in the crew. Adray will flips some switches, hits some levers and put the pedal to the metal shouting, "Hang on!"

(Short rest was totally possible - while Tormentor was modified)
Dex save for DG: 7 (4 )
Adray did not give the wereboars a chance to shoot back and tried to increase the distance between machines. Not for long, though. The injured driver leaned on the wheel and with a deafening roar Demon Grinder practically flew forward, exhausting it's maneuverability may be but gaining on the Tormentor.
They were getting closer when the ground under the wheals suddenly turned into a liquid mud. It did not stop the monstrous contruption but something short circuited inside, fire erupted from the engine and engulfed the vehicle. Both wererats left the weapons trying to repair the Grinder on the go. For a while it was a flaming ball chasing Tormentor on the planes.
11 and 8
It looked, though, that such mishaps were common enough - the mechanics of the team successfully killed the fire.
The "faces" of the enemies appeared in a very unpleasant vicinity - no more than 20ft.
Adray can feel that though lighter and more maneuverable, Tormentor can not simply outrun Demon Grinder.
Polly can now throw her Enlarge/Reduce or do something else. But before Choir shatters whats left of it, Adray should decide if he still pressing forward (and how far).
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Adray will also have used a hit die during the short rest. 17 hp gain
Adray will veer off a bit to give a little space and say, "Ive got moves they haven't seen yet." Then in true Han Solo fashion he lists lazily to the left while going 100 feet. "Hit them when they get near!"

Adray - you are Tormentor for now (Adray has Three-Quarters Cover)
Ordrag is on the weapon, (has Half Cover).
Anyone can target either machine or anyone inside, but remember about the cover.
