You open a few barrels and find the standard supplies, similar to Gundren's cart-- salted pork, beef, flour, sugar. As you investigate and continue the conversation you notice the door creak open and Redbrand eyes staring back at you. "Shit, they already heard us." He says to the others, before rushing out with both blades.
Everyone please roll initiative!
Since Grum and Callie were investigating they are on the lower floors down the stairs, and the rest of you are either on the stairs or by the door.
Similar to the Redbrands you've encountered at the Sleeping Giant, these ones also wield two shortswords, and you count two inside the room as the third charges out from there towards Grum and Callie.

The second one looks weary as if he had just woken up, but comes up on Grum's flank to attack anyway: Attack: 13 Damage: 5 Attack: 23 Damage: 5
The third lunges towards Callie, attempting a cross-cut: Attack: 21 Damage: 5 Attack: 24 Damage: 5
Unlike at the Sleeping Giant, they do not assemble in a formation but rather swing wildly at you guys who have found and entered their base.

"Frick'en hell!"Brandor curses and runs to Grum's aid. He wastes no time and immediately rolls into a three hit combo trying to work the first Redbrand to attack his Half-orc ally.
(All good! I'll be more lenient with posting times since its the holiday season but I'll still roll initiative/take your turn if the others are here, just for combat.)
The Redbrand ducks under your staff but you back it up with a kick, landing a clean blow to his gut before then assaulting him with a headbutt, sending him back dizzy as you land your last two blows.
Grum grimaces in pain before the grimace turns into a smirk. "You'll have to try harder than that!" He will attack the injured Redbrand with the Mariner's Dagger.
Attack: 20 Damage: 7
Then he'll draw his shortsword and attack the other Redbrand who hit him.
The Redbrand reels from Brandor's attack, and is expecting you to be down but instead you remain standing in front of him. The last look you see on his face is that of shock and fear as you strike him down with your enhanced blade.

With an unladylike curse on her lips, Callie unsuccessfully tries to avoid the incoming Redbrand's blades, and earns a fresh pair of cuts on her arms for her trouble. The pain is great, but her fear for Grum is greater as she watches him barely recover from the terrifying salvo of Redbrand blades slashing at him. Drawing her sword, she feints to her left, then lunges to her right and stabs at the other Redbrand engaging Grum.

(Callie uses Cunning action to disengage from the Redbrand who attacked her, then attacks the remaining thug standing by Grum)
You sidestep the Redbrand's blade and lunge at the other one, but at the last second he slices down with his second blade and unfortunately your attack misses.
You invoke your blood curse and shoot your arrow, piercing the Redbrand next to Grum (Injured one is dead), and as it impacts you see flames lick out of the wounds and he cries out in pain.
(OOC: The voices came from just one door? The other door is silent?)
