Malthaza'ar eyes the combatants and imagines a 20 ft sphere that will capture as many Redbrands as possible without touching her new allies. With this point focused in her mind, Malthaza'ar sprinkles a pinch of fine sand on the ground and taps it with her staff as she softly chants.

The one Garr had shot's cries of pain turn into snoring as he lulls into a slumber, and the other one shortly follows. Both Redbrands are now asleep and prone for 1 minute.

Grum looks at Malthaza'ar, impressed. "Nice work. Shall we tie them up? Maybe if we can defeat this Glasstaff, they'll join their other friend in turning their back on being a Redbrand thug and starting over. If not, I think we have to kill them. And there's not much honour in killing a sleeping thug."
Grum will also thank <Squelch> for the healing, and also cast Cure Wounds on himself for 4hp.
Garr also looks at Malthaza'ar with some bewilderment, he had never seen such effective magic before. He aims his crossbow as Grum speaks but turns it away as he mentions honour.
"A sound idea." Garr says as he begins dragging the Redbrands to the bed post and passing Grum the rope. "Just make sure they can't escape."
Just in case, Garr keeps one hand on his crossbow and keeps it aimed at the sleeping Redbrands in case they wake up abruptly.
Callie sheaths her shortsword with a sigh of relief. "Good thinking there, things might not have gone so well otherwise..."With a steadying breath, she warily steps forward to peek into the room that the Redbrands just ambushed them from. She listens and watches from the doorway for any signs of more trouble on its way...
Grum will tie the sleeping Redbrands up firmly (or one of them, whilst someone else does the other). He'll also take their weapons and hide them back in the water where he found the backpack.
"Do we want to take the time to haul these guys quickly up into the abandoned part of the manor, so that nobody comes across them?"
You can drag both Redbrands up the stairs and lead them to a back room up in the manor. There is no door to this room bt you can tie them up to the back, and as you finish doing so they wake up.
"Ugh... Hey, was I dreaming that?"
The second Redbrand looks up at you all and says "**** Lenny, they got us."
"Thanks Squelch, I needed that." Callie's smile comes easily now that her wounds are healed. She spares the Redbrands a sour look, particularly the one that cut her up. "We should get these two hoodlums out of sight before someone hears them."
Grum speaks to the Redbrands, "You two are alive because you fell asleep on the job. Not sure your boss would appreciate that, but it kept your asses alive because we didn't think it was right to kill you in your sleep. But now that you're awake, I for one have no problem killing you - especially if you start shouting and yelling, you understand? So it seems to me that if you sit quiet, we'll let you go when we're finished with your boss. But if you start hollering, you risk us coming back to shut you up for good, and you risk your boss's wrath at not being able to do your job. What's your choice?"
The Redbrand on the left nods silently, while the other one starts hurriedly exclaiming "Yes! Please sir, don't hurt us! I'm just a lowly-" Before the other one nudges him on the arm with his head.
"There you go, Lenny. Now we understand each other. You boys sit tight now, and hopefully you'll see us return to let you go, rather than your boss return to finish what we started."
Grum looks to check the rest of the party are happy with the arrangement. "Are you all ok with this?"
<Squelch> moves up behind Grum as he mutters strange words in several voices. His hands darkens as he casts cure wounds and touches Grum.
