Grum recounts the details of his conversation with the goblin, including Glasstaff's usual whereabouts in the one unexplored room, to the rest of the group.
He turns specifically to Callie and Garr, "Did you find anything?"
Callie shakes her head at Grum, a hint of red still lingering on her cheeks. "It's quiet, at the very least there shouldn't be anything surprising us from that direction. We can explore when we're ready to head out. As for this Glasstaff... the 'magic room' you mentioned sounds worrisome. Sure, it could just be alchemical reagents and the like, but it could also be magically trapped. Does anyone know how to deal with that sort of thing?"
The eyepatch has a few semiprecious gemstones on it of varying colours, unrefined and probably made unprofessionally. On that bugbear's person is a pouch containing 33sp and an iron key.
(Also you may spend hit die up to your character level as you please so yeah you can use two. I thought I sent this before but apparently I didn't, whoops!)
Unless there's anything else, you all successfully complete a short rest without issue and can use your hit die/regain any short rest abilities.
<Squelch> shrugs at Callie's question. He then turns to Garr and holds out one hand. <Gar's voice> "An EYE monster?"He raises the other hand. <Gar's voice> "an invisible cannibal"
<Squelch> then pushes the hands together, interlocks his fingers, and shrugs.

After the short rest, Garr moves to the door to the 'magic room'. Before reaching the door he suffers 2 damage and max HP reduction to activate his Crimson Rite again then positions himself the same as before. After everyone is ready, he opens the door slowly with his weapon drawn rather than bursting it open.
Garr opens up the door slowly and reveals a room that appears to be a wizard's workshop. A rat scurries across the floor and takes refuge under a large worktable set up with alembics, retorts, distillation coils, and other alchemical devices, all of it stewing and bubbling away. Bookshelves are crowded with sheaves of parchment and strange-looking tomes.
There is another door to the right, probably the room belonging to the wizard.
Your arrow easily finds its mark in the rat just before it runs into full cover. It pierces straight through the flesh but immediately afterwards it disappears, leaving no traces of blood behind.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
The elven scout's eyes narrow at the place where the rat disappeared. "No body, or blood... some kind of illusion?"Callie stows her bow and gingerly steps inside of the room, in these close quarters she doubts a ranged weapon would help her anyway. Her gaze wanders over the entire room as she slowly moves towards the door on the right, primed and ready to leap away from any dangers that may present themselves. "Anyone have any idea what we should be looking for?" she whispers to the party as she goes to listen at the door.
"Unusually, I think haste is the key here, rather than stealth or surprise." Grum says, stowing his bow and drawing his blades. "Everyone, get ready. Garr, do you want to get the door?"
Grum stands 5 feet or so back from the door, ready to charge through at a run the moment it is opened, unless anyone else finds anything and tells them to wait.
Malthaza'ar detects no traps of any magical sort or otherwise, just the scattered materials and empty potion bottles similar to the invisibility potion found earlier.
"A rat that disappears? So many things I don't know about..."
Garr will do the same as before with his weapon still out, giving a side glance to the tables and various arcane/alchemy tools laying about to see if they remind him of anything, then proceeds to the door again.
You burst open the door to reveal a bedchamber with drapes of scarlet cloth covering the room. The furnishings include a small writing desk with matching chair, a comfortable-looking bed, and a wooden chest at the foot of the bed. The room appears empty apart from the bedding and furnishings right now.
Entering the room, Callie immediately notices the secret door at the back.

"An EYE monster?" Garr looks at Callie with a look of reassurance somewhat. "Better than an invisible cannibal I think... Anyway, Im ready to continue."

Callie follows Garr and takes up her usual position by the newest door, bow at the ready.
(Pretty sure Brandor wants to roll some hit dice, but after that I think we're ready)
Once Brandor is ready, Grum will take a stand with his bow drawn and ready to aim.

((I'd like to search for magical traps))
Malthaza'ar tiptoes into the doorway. With her keen arcane training, she begins to scan the room for signs of danger and deception.
