The legions pick up their pace. They've spotted you all now. A general at the front of the ranks, commands them forward. You are still about 70 feet away from the Copper Plate.

"Seems the time for stealth has passed, now it is time for speed." And Jorel will start making a run for it as fast as he can, splitting up a little from the party so they can't chase us all at once.
Weylin does the same, running off to the left. If the General, specifically gets within 60ft of Weylin he will yell: "Halt", casting Command at the General.
(Wisdom Save with DC of 12)
Halt:
The target doesn't move and takes no actions. A flying creature stays aloft, provided that it is able to do so. If it must move to stay aloft, it flies the minimum distance needed to remain in the air.

"Time for subltey is over, everyone move out. Smoke, you take the lead on the path while Ash and I will take the back. We can try and slow them down with her overgrowth enchantment (Entangle) and I will do my best covering our tracks." Aldin all but pushes people to get moving, they have a shot, in his opinion, because the group is generally less armored than the Legion is and can therefore run a bit faster and longer. He tries not to look at the oncoming warriors, not wanting to rush himself needlessly.
Survival for covering the tracks at the path (I gave myself disadvantage because I would assume it would be a rushed job.): 8
Alright he says to Aldin as Smoke moves out in front of the group with a determined look on his face.
Smoke will use his feline agility to periodically move twice as fast across the terrain creating more room between himself and the rest of the group but will then stop (recharging it) and check out the path to determine the quickest route for the group to travel and if possible find natural chokepoints. (like a river crossing with a narrow bridge/log to cross or something to funnel and slow down a legion but not a small group like us).
(Should there be a chokepoint Smoke will try to see how they can block it off from the legion before continuing asking Aldin Use your trap here, it might slow them down or make them think twice before chasing us)
He will also be looking back to make sure the rest is not in trouble yet. If a new path is chosen Smoke will shout This way! and stay there long enough for everyone to see the new route before sprinting ahead again.
Black Cat will chirp excitedly and then in the general's voice shout out for all to hear, "Halt, those are not the ones we are looking for, move back to the entrance!"

As Weylin uses his command spell, the general will do his best to resist. DC 12 Wisdom Save: 20
As a result of this, the general stops suddenly, falling back into the ranks of the legions. But the rows and rows of soldiers have seemingly already received their orders, and the general disappears between the middle of the soldiers. As quickly as they break ranks to allow them to pass him, they reform into a fully-oiled cohesive machine, operating forward.
As you all reach the trail behind the Copper Plate at last, you find the trail and begin to walk along it. It is made from dirt and is rather narrow. Aldin, you can do somewhat of a decent job of covering tracks, but you can't do it completely well with the time constraints.
Smoke, you spot a rickety wooden bridge that crosses over the Fae'nthal River, the one you used to guide you here. The bridge is old, but should support you guys one at a time, should you choose to take it.
Black Cat, as you attempt to fool them, some confused looks come over a few of the soldiers, before they realize it is not true and continue onward in anger, their focus now set moreso on Black Cat in particular for his antics and perceived connection to the party.
Black Cat notices the soldiers focusing on him and squawks in alarm attempting to move even faster for the bridge and does not hesitate to run over it to stop on the other side, dagger in hand.
"We make for the bridge, if we cross it's a choke point for them and we can destroy it before they come through," Nirug says loudly to the others.
He dash to towards the bridge and pick up any team mate that seems to be struggling along. Which should be easy with hisnlarge physic. (510 lbs carrying capacity). At the bridge hell let the fastest and lightest rush through first.
As Black Cat rushes across the bridge, one of the old wooden planks breaks slightly below his feet, but he's able to hop past it and reach the end of the bridge.
The legions begin to spill up onto a small grassy hill adjacent to the Copper Plate. As the melee soldiers begin to spill over the height of the hill, the armed ranged fighters position themselves, nocking arrows on their bows.
Nirug, roll a Dexterity check. If you are carrying anyone, roll with disadvantage.
Jorel will wait on the near side of the bridge to help Nirug till the others are across, letting him go first as he, Jorel, could probably swim across if needed.
All who cross the bridge must make a Dexterity check.
The legions are closing in on foot, and should be in contact within a minute to all that do not cross the bridge. Impending barrages of arrows seem apparent if you flee, but perhaps they cannot shoot arrows accurately through or past the bridge.

Aldin continues with the group and slides to a stop with everyone else at the bridge. He looks back and sees a volley is most assuredly incoming and heads across the bridge next to set up and possibly shoot back. The simple thought is rough in his mind, shoot the legion? Those are just people following orders, but then again they are choosing prejudice over common sense and these are his friends.
Smoke darts across the bridge trying to find himself a good position of somewhat cover to sit and prepare his bow while the rest of the party attempts to cross.
Seeing the enemy advance Black Cat chirps out softly and then disappears for the path.
