Smoke replies to Nirug with a nod and a smile. Taking his 1 gp.
He then turns back to the trader. Very well, here is the coin. And hands over the 6 gp total.
By what name does Ester know you?
(in order to not hold up anyone else:)
After getting the item and the name Smoke will motion the others to depart. Asking Jorel and the others if they had seen Black Cat and Aldin and moving to join them or search them.
Being outside the tavern adjacent to the market stalls and having finally caught his breath he makes his way over and greets Smoke, "Well met, Cat and I found some interesting bits. He is off tracking another lead. We should gather him and discuss." Not even realizing that he has mirrored Smoke's thoughts Aldin keeps an eye out for the Kenku.
Being asked where Cat is, Jorel would probably (given his passive perception again) simply point over to where he's at, "He's right there, talking to that guy with the magic marbles."
Black Cat, the strength of the orbs seem legitimate, and the showman appears a bargainer and certainly one with the words, but no liar. You cannot discover the amounts of magic or type of magic behind it, though, You watch as people crowd around him, desperate to touch one and buy it for themselves. These troubled people appear quite easily convinced.
The trader smiles at Smoke. "Pleasure doing business with you. And Ester should know me as Zyn-dar."

This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Black Cat seems impressed and then will hopefully find an opportunity to discover one or more in his pocket among the pressed bodies or perchance maybe a coin purse.
(@DM: what kind of item do i add to my inventory? )
After having joined up with Aldin the group is almost complete again. As Jorel spots Black Cat and motions towards his direction Smoke will also look to see glimpses of him darting through the crowd inconspicuously.
Worried he might lose sight of him again Smoke looks back to Jorel Jorel can you go get him, we will wait at the edge of the market over there. Pointing to the edge of the market in the direction that Aldin came from.
At the edge of the market they will wait for Jorel and Black Cat. Meanwhile Smoke cant wait to catch up Aldin with what happened in the market. Talking fast with an excited voice.
We made a deal with a trader called Zyn-dar who deals in healing supplies. If we can get this Ester Lynchar to endorse Zyn-dar he will give us several potions as a reward. We already got one item for a low price.
Smoke opens up his bag to let Aldin see the Stabilization Mixture.
Ester is a bard that plays cards in the tavern over there. Motioning to the tavern with a nod of his head.
His tail suddenly stops moving Oh.. almost forgot, Jorel spoke to some townsfolk and these people were attacked and robbed by rebels. We could try to help them to and these potions would help us do it.
Smoke looks to the side for a moment trying to recall if he missed anything. Yeah thats it i think..What did you find out?
Aldin nodded along as Smoke spoke, used to the rush of information from the hyperactive tabaxi. "We happened to find two men doing a fairly shady deal down one of the alleyways. A man in a silver cloak as well as a man in a black and red cloak seemed to be talking about some kind of deal. The silver robed nobleman apparently needed to pay the other rougher man some extra money to get someone in particular voted into a position of power. Then they parted, I tracked the man to this tavern and he went down a set of stairs behind the staff only door. It was too populated inside so I came out for fresh air. Black Cat followed the finer dressed man," Aldin made a fairly quick and straight forward recap. He saw that they meant to go back in to the tavern and his eyes silently pleaded to not be included. His friends would, however, know that he would go in with them if they really needed him.
Black Cat, you grab randomly at the rack of orbs but extract three of them with ease, and snag a small leather pouch containing two gold pieces and six silver pieces. (Wow, NICE roll at the right time). No seems to notice you whatsoever.
(Smoke, added the item to your inventory for you since it's custom homebrew. Let me know if it didn't work)

Having grabbed what he could and noting no one saw him Black Cat will move away and head back to his companions.
Once her is back with the group and away from most of the people he will fill them in on what he saw and give directions on what building they silver cloaked guy went to. Noting nothing really exciting happened but to keep the information in the back of their minds when going about their business. Also curious about what Aldin says about his hunt and ponders what could be at the bottom of those stairs, his feathers ruffling with excitement.
Jorel will wait near the edge of the crowd for Black Cat, and bring him back to the others, "This seems fairly fortuitous for us, we can either persuade the bard to endorse the merchant and get free potions to deal with the rebels which will endear us to the town, or if we fail to persuade, we can simply take the rebels out first and use the goodwill to endorse the merchant ourselves or convince the bard to. It seems everything is working out wonderfully for us again, isn't it?" His voices rings with honest sincerity.
"Too many of us may make the bard nervous and under a lot of pressure. I am willing to take Black Cat and any other volunteers to go down that staircase," Aldin suggests.
At this time, you see two burly half-orcs escorting a scrawny human outside the tavern, and they shove the human against the dirt after reaching the small stone wall extends a few feet out past some of the market stands, the steam of food coming from behind it, in the tavern.
The human crawls around to his back, looking up at the half-orcs, who seem to be satisfied with what they've done. "Why'd you have to go and do that? I had a drink in there I intended on finishing!"
The half-orcs show no signs of sympathy. "You can earn your money taking it...pretty much what you did to Master, isn't it?" the first half-orc says, showing only mild eloquence. "You're where you should be, peasant. Stay there."
The second half-orc adds, "Yeah, before you get any more ideas of cheating against the Master, again!"
The two half-orcs turn and walk away, and the scrawny human tries to stand and dust himself off.

The human seems surprised by Smoke's kindness and quickly recovers from his fluster. "No, not the owner, he's a...a fine man," the human corrects Smoke. "Those dreadful henchmen accuse me of cheating against their 'master' Ester Lynchar. Apparently he's got the money for his own personal bodyguards now." The human addresses Smoke, ready to explain the story. "I had won a few friendly games against others in the tavern...I was on a bit of a lucky streak, I guess you could say. After a few games, I had quite the crowd watching me. I don't think Mr. Lynchar could stand having someone else have the gambling spotlight, so naturally, he had to take it from me. Ester challenged me to a dice game I'd never heard of before, but he taught me to play and then we began. Ester's by far the best gambler I've met before, he was beating me easily. Suddenly, though, I got a good roll, and that enabled me to roll another two dice. We were all tied, and the pot was large, so of course, when my dice registered the same numbers twice in a row, he threw me out of the game for using trick dice. And he took the whole pot--all thirty gold I had won the whole night! Thirty! That's a lot of warm meals..." the human says, seeming to get a bit irritated at the recollection of the incident. "I don't think there's much you can do about that, though. Ester's sly and charismatic. Plus, he's got unbelievable funds for living in this town. Thanks for listening to me, though, and helping me up. I appreciate it."

Upon hearing the story Black Cat grows silent, trying to think of ways that Lynchar could have cheated the man. If this person is so rich he most definitely will want to meet them man. Hopefully not startling the man he will ask in his own voice, "What dice game?"

"I agree, let us find this bard." Weylin will follow the others but not lead the conversation with the bard, thinking it best for someone else.
(If we reach him but I'm offline, Weylin casts guidance on whoever is going to talk before approaching him.)
As the group is gathered Smoke pulls them a bit closer and puts his hands together.
Alright, we need to talk to the bard and find out where the cloaked man went. Do we split up? Idea's anyone?
He looks around at the group
We could all just go to talk to the bard but the cloaked man might be gone by that time. He might already be gone though.
His face a bit disappointed as he says he last sentence.

As the discussion is interrupted by the half-orcs. Smoke says Hold on.
Then walks towards the human as the half-orcs walk away. He will help the human back up.
I could not help overhear them accuse you of cheating the master? Would this be the owner of the tavern they speak of?
He will let the human compose himself for a moment.
Perhaps we could convince him of the truth if you tell us what happened.
