Black Cat, you currently do not notice them. Your arrow hits the silver-cloaked figure, who falls back, cursing in Elven with surprise at the hit. He quickly turns his head to see whoever threw it, expressing clear anger.
Smoke, you are about 60-70 feet from Black Cat right now.
Aldin, you slip out from Ester's hold masterfully, being able to completely free yourself.

Black Cat, the silver-cloaked figure is now completely focused on you as he fires the silver dagger in your direction. Attack: 5 Damage: 3
Aldin, Ester stands in agitation. Anger seems to cloud his vision, as his movement becomes more sloppy, and more differential to what he was like previously, and certainly different from the Ester you saw in the tavern. The shop owner looks worried, signalling to both half-orcs to fall back, and all three disappear to somewhere you cannot currently view. Ester quickly looks at the table of displayed antiques, grabbing a rusty sharp hook-like device, perhaps meant to be a hanger for a coat or even a prosthetic for someone with no hand. Ester swings it at Aldin. 20 Damage: 2

Getting in range to see light reflect on the broken glass in the alley with Black Cat leaning in through the window with his crossbow in hand rushes faster using Feline Agility (and dash if needed) to get to Black Cat.
A little out of breath Smoke stops putting his hands on his legs bending over forward puffing out some air after running around for a while.
Black Cat.. Whats going on? .... Where.. is Aldin..
He mumbles out between taking breaths. Noticing Black Cat is either shooting his crossbow or getting shot at.
(do i roll initiative or wait for them to do another turn?)
Black Cat, the crossbow arrow lands deeply in the silver-cloaked figure's shoulder and he grunts in obvious discomfort and pain. The dagger flies right past his head, and he looks worriedly at Black Cat, silently questioning how many impending attacks could be coming...and how many of them he could survive.
"This is below me," the silver-cloaked figure says, trying to maintain some sense of diplomacy in character. The silver-cloaked figure grabs Ester, holding him back with ease, and somewhat dragging him around the corner of the door, looping around to where the shop owner and half-orcs went. They are currently out of sight, but still in the shop.
(OOC: You do not have to roll initiative at the moment, but if either party re-engage then you most likely will."

Aldin stumbles out of the building through the broken window. He is breathing heavy and clutching the wound Ester dealt him. "Thank you for defending me Cat," he says patting the Kenku. He takes in the group around him, "Let's get out of here now. Nothing but trouble will come if we stay here. We will explain then."
Black Cat Takes Aldin by the shoulder and then gently pushes him down the alleyway toward the back of the shop, "Better escape this way." In Aldin's voice and then in Jorel's voice, he chirps outs, "You not seen, go that way." and points towards Jorel, "Meet back at tavern."
If you choose to re-enter the tavern as Smoke says, it seems just as warm and filled with ale before, stocked with patrons. Something peculiar though, is that Ester doesn't seem to have moved from his spot of where he was when Smoke was here. He is still gambling.

Just inside the door, a hooded and cloaked humanoid speaks up just as you enter Smoke. His face is covered somewhat as well, making it hard to tell if he’s looking at you when he speaks. “Are you alright? Got pretty rough there for a moment.”
Black Cat will help Aldin down the alleyway and then will look into whatever street they come to looking around to see if he sees any guards and anyone else form inside the shop. Before he then helps Aldin and himself disappear among the crowd, working their way back to the tavern to meet the others.

[OOC: Not sure if I can Help -give advantage to Aldin with a stealth roll]
[OOC: Sigh, especially when I rolled so low on mine, dang it Dice gods]
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
As the hooded figure speaks Smoke takes a moment to compose himself. Making himself look as uninjured as possible. Relieved thatJorel addresses the new figure Smoke will not yet say anything but try and get a look at the figures face to see if he recognizes him.
"Not yet, no. But you look like the types that could use another sword, maybe a bit of spell craft even." Smoke, you see that there's a mask across most of the face, but at a 22, it's hard to say you can't see anything lol. You might see blue eyes, and dark skin surrounding them. The eyebrows are a mix of gray and auburn. Other than that, he's wrapped up pretty tight under his cloak, a non-descript charcoal gray and black.
He breathes a heavy sigh. "I'm going to be frank. I need a job. A paying job. Nothing too exorbitant. One that won't go asking me a lot of awkward questions. If you can live with that, I could be convinced to help you out with your... difficulties." He gestures vaguely out the door at the people you'd just been fighting with.

Black Cat squawks suddenly and shakes his head in frustration, "Shit! Forgot something be right back." to Aldin. Then he scurries back down the alleyway to the window he was hiding at and looks for the silver dagger the elven threw at him to see if he can find it or if it even went out the window.

Will only spend a minute or so and then head back to Aldin.
Smoke tilts his head a bit at the vague offer from this new stranger.
Alright ..Frank. We all had to use a different name at some pointHe says as he walks a few steps past him.
We are always looking for talent. But we already have a team that has been through several .. He turns to the stranger again. difficulties. He says with a smile.
Smoke bends through his knees slightly to obviously try and see if he can catch a better glimpse of this persons face. Not even trying to hide it.
What is it exactly you could do for us? Sword, spells?

The dagger is getting close and closer to Aldin, he steels his resolve and attempts one last struggle to free himself.

Aldin gets punctured and cries out as he then attempts to disengage from Ester and get out in to the streets, away from the crazed man.
Black Cat will now aim at the Silver-cloaked person and shoot again and will also attempt to throw a dagger at the person with hos bonus action.

Jorel, seeing his allies engaging someone inside the building, will wait just outside to one side of the front door.

Not thinking twice about it Smoke will cast Cure Wounds on Aldin after seeing his wound (healing 9).
There, you need it more than i do. Smoke says just before polishing some of his own blood off his shirt before Aldin notices.
Walking back towards the tavern. Lets regroup and get some rest and determine our next move.
(damn, sorry no good heal again)
