Aldin indeed pays no particular mind except to the fact that a particularly useful way station is so unused. When third watch comes he nestles himself somewhere hidden and keeps watch with crossbow in hand.

Jorel will rise early, and stretch happily, "That was the best night's sleep I've had in a while, how about you, Black Cat and Nirug?" And then he'll start helping Nirug with breakfast.
Once you've all awoke and had some of the rations you have, you set out yet again along the trail. This day's travel is a bit harder than the last. The trail comes into a much steeper incline as it winds around the large width of the rocky mountain. After about five hours of travel, you watch as the pleasant weather is destroyed by a large grouping of dark clouds. It begins to rain steadily around the 6th hour. According to your estimations, the town of St. Jarren is about four hours away. You find a small inhabited outpost--a small hut next to a stable for horses, that isn't currently occupied. On it, there is a clear sign reading: 'Last Outpost.' Will you stop here, or trek on through the soon to be dark, and rainy terrain, or try to find somewhere in the middle? It should be dark in about two hours. What would you like to do?

"We should check in here, maybe shore up our supplies and maybe ask if about anyone else who has passed through," Aldin suggests clearly not volunteering however.
Jorel, as you p-eek in, you see the small interior of the three-room hut. Sitting on a wooden desk is a half-elf with a banjo in his hands. The half-elf smiles. In a perky crisp accent, the half-elf says, "''Ello there! Can I help you?"

Jorel will smile cheerfully, "I hope so! We were on our way to St Jarren and thought we'd stop by to pick up some supplies and maybe find a place to rest for the night? By the way, there was a beautiful clearing a ways back with a pleasant fire pit in the middle, do you happen to know anything about it?"
The half-elf will smile with Jorel's kindness. "Well, it's a pleasure to meet you, fellow! I have a few crates of provisions in the back, I'm selling them pretty cheap if you'd like to buy a few. There's the stable, as well as the front room there, but that would require a fee for a night. How many of you did you say there was?" The half-elf then goes on to answer the other question. "Oh, yes...that. It's an old religious ritual site, or something like that, I believe. Was built for the Virkadian Contradualist deities. On my way up to the outpost a few months ago, I tried to pray to the god I worship in my religion but...didn't work. It's a magical place though...magically enchanted, something like that."

Smoke will come up to stand next to Jorel. Due to the rain he is wet, his tail hanging straight down, ears horizontal and a sad/defeated look on his face. Clearly not in the best of moods. Hello, could we please come in and dry ourselves at your fire.
Nirug stares up the darkening clouds in the sky and a small smile graced his face. When the water fell, he raises his hands out and let wash down upon him. He watched as Smoke rush in from the rain and cold while he turned his head to the sky one last time and looked up and down the trail. He took his time not working about the wind and rain, the cold never bother him.
Black Cat will sneak in among the party and then shake his feathers and clothes free of the rain, before moving over to a chair and climbing up into it making himself comfortable.
Jorel will smile and offer his hand, “I am called Jorel, and I must say it always warms my heart to see such hospitality. As for that clearing, we stayed the night there, and that magical fire was very pleasant and I has the best sleep I’ve had in a long time.”
As the half elf mentions its ok to come in Smoke will dart by searching for the fire and some cloth to help dry himself. He will sit very close to the fire and be unusually quiet while he is drying off.
Aldin enters behind the group and removes his cloak, thankful to be out from the rain. He nods briefly to the hospitable half elf and moves to a window overlooking the front door if there is one. While wet outside is uncomfortable, there is nothing that beats the serenity of rain to Aldin. He watches in delight.
As Smoke starts to dry up his mood shifts a bit again. Warming his hands near the fire. Ahh, thats better... Sorry guys, i just hate the rain. Makes me feel sad and so drained of energy. Like it costs so much energy to do anything anymore.
He sits a bit more gazing into the fire.

Smoke eyes widen and looks around the room as he emphasizes the next word foodnear him. Keeping them drained so much they lack energy to resist but not enough to prevent them from slowly regaining their strenght.

Yes, exactly like the rain makes you feel.

Nirug will also take his turn at watch as well. Towards the end of it, if all is quiet, he will start working on a simple breakfast for everyone.
Perception 9
Unless someone wakes him, Jorel will sleep happily the whole night through, safe in the knowledge the gods are watching over them.
