Dwal moves up to the middle of the hall and waits to see what the party is going to do. If they open the door and enter Dwal will cast Bless at 2nd level. (his last 2nd level slot)

A splintering crash resonates through the tunnel system as something impacts against the other side of the door.
Unknown Attack vs Door: 9 Hit: 13 bludgeoning damage
The door still stands, but the top hinge has popped off, and the top half of the door is seriously compromised. One more hit like that, and this door is coming down. Boko Dex save: 5
In the wrong place at the wrong time, Boko takes 2 bludgeoning damage from the indirect impact of the smashed door.
The door is still intact enough to block your view of the iron constructs on the other side.
”You know, if they are going to mindlessly pound the door instead of opening it by the handle to get to us, they might be unintelligent enough to be lured into a pit with acid at the bottom.” Gerrard suggests hopefully.

”You know, if they are going to mindlessly pound the door instead of opening it by the handle to get to us, they might be unintelligent enough to be lured into a pit with acid at the bottom.”
"That sounds better than goin' toe to toe with 'em. I don't how we get 'em to fall into the first pit we found, but we could pull back past the trapdoor and see if they fall in?"
”Let’s do it! Fall back to the other side of the trap door. I’ll lure them forward!” says Gerrard. He falls back away from the door but stays down the hallway in the room so the foes can see him if they burst out the door.
”Run past me and get in position!” he adds, settling into a defensive stance.

Peri:
Peri nods to Gerrard. "Sounds good. But if you need someone to cover your back, remember I'm pretty nimble!" With that, he runs up the wall and clings to the ceiling near the northWEST* corner of the statue room, holding an eldritch blast for any enemy to appear. He's especially watchful for that irritating ghost that keeps popping out of the walls to take a swipe at people. (Perception19 to keep his eyes peeled for the specters)
*Yes, the northwest corner, exactly as I stated all along. No edits here!
Summary so far: Gerrard: retreat and dodge. Dwal: retreat (may still have action or dash if he wants.) Peri: retreat, spell readied, watching for specters (none seen) Do your positions look good so far on this map? Boko and Kei - What do you do?
Boko does what she can to bar or lock or secure the door to the frame and then runs away, dashing toward the trapdoor and trying to get to the other side. She whispers to any she finds to either get past the trapdoor, hide well until the iron baddies get to the trapdoor.
Seeing no obvious way to keep the door shut, Boko bolts out of the hallway, across the room, and around the pit to the far side. Kei follows. (Both can make it to the far side of the pit with a dash; neither can pick up the ladder this round, or do anything else.)
The door explodes from its hinges, flying nearly the entire length of the hallway with an ugly crash.
The two iron men appear, advancing down the hallway. They are relatively slow and lumbering constructs, but you can tell from the sounds of their metal feet on the floor that they must be made of solid iron. As they step through the secret panel into the main room, they each take a simultaneous step in opposite directions, so that they stand about 15 feet apart, their arms (one ending in a hammer, the other in a blade) raised in attack. They lack any facial features - exhibiting just smooth iron balls for heads - and are completely silent aside from their heavy footfalls.
As the iron men appear -- Oh wonderful! More angry statues! he thinks -- Peri releases the eldritch blast he'd been holding at the nearest construct: #1: 13 for 10 #2: 11 for 7
He calls to Dwal and Gerrard, "No more dawdlin'! Time to go!" and he fires off another eldritch blast before retreating across the ceiling to dangle just south of the pit. #1: 11 for 9 #2: 17 for 5
Peri fires off a quartet of crackling beams over Dwal's head at the iron man to the north. Two bounce off its metal exterior, but two are absorbed, slowing it slightly. Peri then retreats slightly to the north.
Dwal will move back away from the approaching statues. "someone used alot of magic ta create these things ta keep folks out." he says as they move. Dwal dashes as best he can.
As the constructs bash their way through the door and come out the secret door, one seems to open itself up momentarily to counterattack as it moves past Gerrard.
AOO if warranted:
Rapier: Attack: 10 Damage: 13
The young noble then disengages from the dangerous foe and moves towards the trapdoor…Assuming his companions are on the other side already, he uses a surge of effort to cross as well, setting up just on the other side, waiting for the constructs to approach.
OOC: AOO, Disengage, Move, Action Surge to Dash

Dwal retreats to the other side of the pit. Boko readies an action to pull the ladder at the end of the party's turn. (Note: The trap doors are only six feet square, and the hallways are ten feet across, so it's relatively easy to bypass IF you know it's there.)
Gerrard carefully withdraws from the threatening constructs and, with a burst of effort, scurries past his comrades and retreats to the north side of the pit with Boko and Dwal.

Kei
Skirting to Gerrard's right, Kei stops as soon as the closest construct comes into view. Quickly turning to his colleagues "Sorry if this goes sideways, but it's just too good a chance". He looks directly at the constructs ball of a head and whispers arcane words. The air around the constructs head begins to vibrate. An all mighty crack sound follows shortly after. He then retreats as far back as his movement allows.
