Besides helping drag materials to aid Nasaar, Serit will see if there are any traps he can rig in the area, mainly makeshift "bear traps", net traps or swinging item traps.
(Let me know what to roll and I will edit my post with it)
"Gara thinks a litle bit, but with only two hours before sunset, there is not enough time to set up elaborate traps.
He will spend 1 hour to search the nearby forrest for herbs, mushrooms and berries that could either feed or heal the Goblins, and then he spends the second hour in the tower to prepare them for the Goblins, so that they have some energy for the upcoming fight.
The goblins' exhaustion and near-starvation cannot be solved in a couple of hours. It will take days of eating well to recover from this.
Although an hour in the proximity of the village isn't much, you tyr your hardest to finds useful herbs. Unfortunately, it seems anything edible this close to the village has been eaten long ago, either by the goblins, or by the scavengers. Nevertheless, you dind a small herb that can be chewed to slightly relieve pain and exhaustion.
(When taking a short rest, this herb can be used to improve one of your health recovery. You roll a single hit dice with advantage).
As this all goes on the group will notice that Yarvem seems to have lost his interest in helping the goblins. Sometime since they arrived he had gone off on his own.
Serit, noticing that no one has shown the goblins the figurine opens the glowing sigiled bag and displays the little bear to the Goblin chief, "The one who sent us here told us to show you this. Does it mean something to you?"
Gathrik will acquaint himself with the goblins and prepare for the night by practicing swipes with his sword and deflecting imaginary strikes with his shield. About an hour before the night, he goes looking for a graveyard if there is one, or just finds a place where dead bodies could be found. He sits there for a while meditating a little and muttering something under his breath.
The old goblin looks at the bear charm with a mild interest, until its eyes glow briefly in a soft green light. The goblin recoils back then starts frantically looking through the collection of amulets on his neck, ranging from animal claws, teeth, ears to various minerals. He goes through them, until one begins to glow back in a similar color. The goblin begins moving this amullet around, closer and further from the bear charm, while whispering something. Eventually the glowing stops. The goblin carefully puts the bear charm back into the sachet nad hands it back to you.
"I think... I have an idea who sent you. In hindsight, the name "Old Bear" makes sense."
Gara:
The least weak of the severely weakend goblins accepts the spear, but tells you he's still barricading himself in with the rest of the goblins in the basement. He'll use the weapon slit crafted by Nasaar to stab at scavengers if they try to attack the door.
Jardor will offer muscle anywhere that it is needed to help with the reinforcing of the structure. As he works he passes the time by attempting to strike up conversation with the other party members.
"Getting safe is fine and good, but I think we are going to need information to be successful, and taking a little bit of a risk to get that may be called for. I say we let the community have the basement tonight and we take the second floor. A little riskier, and we might have to fight through a good part of the night, but that way we will get a vantage on what we are fighting against and be able to make more definite plans. What do you think?"

In an amazing feat of strength, Jardor grabs a giant boulder from downhill in the village and brings it to the tower wall, next to the structural weakspot that Nasaar identified. Now there is no chance some hyenas digging their way under that and into the tower, at least not in one night.
"With me up on the third story, to help with keeping an eye out." Nasaar agrees with the idea. "I am smaller than anyone but the goblin, so would be a good choice for the top floor, especially since I can probably take out a few witgh my heavy crossbow from up there."
Taking another look at the third story, Nasaar rethinks his idea. "I think I'll stay on the second story with others there." He says, realizing he is no where near nimble enough to get to the third story, let alone move up there. "Probably should have some people on the first floor, to keep them from breaking through and having us fighting on all sides." He suggests, as he takes in the building defenses. "Several of us can rain bolts down on them from the second floor, while those on the first do what they can to keep the things out of the tower itself."
"Sounds like just the kind of job I am built for. But I should probably have a second to watch my back. I will see if Serrit or Gathrik want to join me where all the fun will be."
Looking around the community for both of them, he comes across Serrit first (assuming Gathrik is off in the cemetery at this point).
"We are thinking about taking a more active role tonight, instead of just hiding. Need a second with me on the first floor and the others are going to lob ranged attacks from the second. Want to come be where the action is?"

Serit looks to Jardor and nods, "I agree, we should do what we can with a retreat to the second if things get out of hand. The goblin should be with us, he needs to wet his blade but again yes. Let us teach these pups what warriors look like."
About this time Gathrik would be back and he looks and generally behaves more relaxed than after the worg encounter, his long smile casually hanging on his face. He comes up to Serit and Jardor, “Of course I will join you, I lost my rhythm with those worgs, I’ll be more aware this time around”
"Excellent," Serit exclaims, "but I call dibs on your things should I survive and you don't." It seems a jest but with a greedy lazy bugbear, could you ever be sure?
Before Gara will climb up to the second floor he will inspect a few areas where it would be save to create bonfire without compromising the defence of the tower. Areas i would be interrested in: inside and outside of the main door, in front and on the stairs themself and near the hatch to the basement. He will also rub three litle stones on his rations, and then diping them in a chemical from one of his clay jars to increase the smell of food on the three stones. He will place a few skull siced rocks around the area and make sure there is a rope hanging to climb the third floor if needed.
I can use magic tinkering to infuse 4 objects with a minor magical i keep 1 glowing stone and i create 3 stones with the smell of food.
You can place the bonfire outside the first floor windows or half of the front door. Considering the inside of the the tower is made of mood, making a fire inside would be... unwise.
If you want a rope to the third floor, someone must first climb there and attach it (Acrobatics chack to climb and another one to move around and find a good spot to attach the rope to)..

Serit paces inside the first floor of the tower, swaying side to side as he walked. His flail still hanging on his belt but his shield already strapped to his arm. He mutters a few things, shakes his head and then seems calmer. It passed in moments.

Also if it helps them, i will offer my spear and my handaxe to the two strongest goblins for the night, unless they got better weapons already.
