(nope, if we need to go into the water i'll be great but dont ask snilloc to pilot an land vehicle (unless of course we just take a sailboat and strap wheels to it in order to bypass that issue, but i have a feeling sails will not be an valid form of locomotion) )

Just before the race, Dalfen takes a lesson on how to control the carriage (add proficiency in land vehicles).
At the start with Kront'al, Balthazar, and Snollic in the main seats of an actual carriage everyone agreed upon, and Dalfen in the coach seat, all the horses pulling the carriages are spiritual, including yours. Princess Reese, now in her original sea foam green and caribbean blue dress, goes to the top of a stand similar to the one at the funeral. "Subjects, racers, welcome to our 75th annual Great Carriage Race" the crowd cheers, Reese continues "You will race around the landmarks and icons of our beloved kingdom, portals to reach these parts have been scattered throughout the race. The team who makes it back here first wins the trophy, and the grand prize: 500 Salt Gems." The crowd cheers again "Oh, and spells are allowed for this race, so you guys in the back can spice up the competition, the first section is over there in the Hills of the Lost."
She holds up a hankerchief. "3, 2, 1, GO!" The race begins, the Hills of the Lost is full of canyons, Dalfen, roll for Preformance/ Athletics to navigate the area)
(so, snilloc is actiually participating? what will this fantastic glib man add to the team other than weight? he aint no spellcaster, sword combat is most likely prohibited, does this thing at least have sails? the only thing he can really do is use the rally manuver to encurage kront'al and baltazaar, and then like i guess sit on the sidelines, like he has action surge so he could make two actions in a single turn if nessesary to ether help or dash or something else but i really do not understand what he is doing there)
(also is performance not like a charisma skill used for entertaining an audience?)
(Preformance has other uses) In the back of the cart is a pile of random items, like spikes, buckets of oil, wood, and a crossbow that uses tiny spheres in the back that resemble cannonballs. (Made to damage the other carriages, and so you won't kill someone.)
Balthazar looks at the competition and casts hex on the strongest looking horse of the competition. That gives it a disadvantage on strength ability checks till the hex is done.
(whispers softly as he picks up ze crossbow) ah, just like that time me and my crew attacked an enemy warship and it turned out to be a bunch of unarmed sailors and we just barely managed to avoid anyone drowing in an horrible accident
(now no longer whispering) aight lads i think we can manage to win this, lets go he is going to use rally on both of them, giving 9 temp hp to balthazar and 5 to delfaen. If they already have temp hp they can choose to keep their old temp hp or gain this new one

This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
The hex isn't that strong since its spiritual, the team of the carriage that it was pulling is upset, and the guys in the back start to throw rocks at you. (Also, your down to your last newt eye, meaning you can cast it only one more time)

(Remember this? You got a quick lesson and are now proficient.)
While Dalfen casts the spell, the carriage hits a rock and the portable hole Balthazar had falls over and creates a pothole that left a competitor team stuck.
In the second section of the hills (actually a badlands), there is a U-turn around a round canyon, on top of it is an aboleth that starts swinging at the carriages. (Everyone make a Dex save)
Someone screams "duck!" and Balthazar in a stance like huh? and gets wacked in the face.
damage: 12
(The dice just aren't your friend for this campaign)
The next turn reveals a portal to the next area, and it leads to the Tiger's Den, on the dirt and grass road, you encounter Katrina's hut, and Katrina is on the balcony (make a perception check)

dex save: 21 and can somebody explain why there is just an aboleth chillin on the track? Ya know, those weird octopus things that lived before the gods, are hyperintelegent and can enslave the creatures they touch? yeah one just lives on this race track, just kinda vibin ya know?

I’m good then
Lot's of stuff ...
Is there anywhere I can train?
You expect to gain proficiency in a tool in less than 2 days of training?
