Balthazar jumps into action (do we need initiative or are the goblins looking at the carriage and not at us? Also please describe if there is an obvious leader or larger goblin and how many we see.)
If initiative is needed then: 7
Bonus Action: Cast a Hex on the leader goblin, if no obvious leader is seen then on the nearest goblin giving disadvantage to strength checks and +1d6 necrotic to my damage rolls
Action: Eldritch Blast aimed at the hexed goblin, Attack: 6 Damage: 5 force damage + 6 Necrotic damage on a hit
( ooc: What i do is i turn my browser into a desktop site in settings and there is a bunch of buttons in the text box and there is a little pic of a die click that add your modifier and click ok then post your text)
snilloc, noticing his friends are jumping out of ze wagon and noticing that there are goblins outside of the wagon, starts to laugh incredebly loudly, and shouts
"you little ones are funny, who do you think you are exactly? i am one of the most skilled swordsmen in the six lands, and my friends here are just as skilled as i am in the grim art of death. I will count down from three, and any of you fools who have not fled by the time i reach one will be shown NO mercy"
before going into battle, i make shure that at least one person other than me is in the wagon with the princess in case one of em' goblins manages to slip by my two friends and enter the wagon without opposition
he then turns over to Reese and says "everything will be fine, my friends here are masters of the arcane arts"
here is my intimidate check to scare away the goblins 15 and here is my initiative check 23 + 2 for my ambush manuver i kept on me
in combat, he will stay close to reese since she is the vip we need to protect, using disarming strike on any poor foolish nearby goblins to neutralise and disarm them, using his parry reaction when needed,

I cast hellish rebuke as a reaction against the goblin who attacked me. He must make a dexterity saving throw of 12 if he fails he takes 10 fire damage if he succeeds he takes half that.
For my action i cast chromatic orb at one of the goblins attacking the carriage attack: 20 damage:10 cold damage
Kront'al will execute 'Monkey Jumps From a Tree' (planting his staff he runs up it an leaps into a somersault over a goblin striking it two-handed with his staff) and as he lands behind it, he will use 'Flurry of Blows'.

Princess Reese is flattered by your charming efforts, feeling a bit closer to you with what you both have in common.
Does there seem to be any type of threat yet?
You need a perception check for that
Like my passive or my make a roll 5
I take it that i fail
You don't notice anything, but you feel kicking on the carriage
Balthazar is actively scanning the scene. He doesn't want to miss anything. 16 perception
Lot's of stuff ...
You notice goblins attacking the carriage
Delfaen investigates the kicking
You see the goblins attacking the carriage, they notice you and run to attack
