Following Brox, Grimnir is surprised by this ghost.
WIS save: 19
Seeing Oorr trying to dialogue, Grimnir stands his ground and do not move, yet. Getting ready to fight. He will scan the area for any other signs of danger: Perception: 10
You see no signs of other danger. The area is in ruins, and you notice vermin rummaging around in different piles of refuse, but nothing dangerous.
[OOC: Brox has 'Aura of Protection' - anyone friendly, who is within 10ft of me, can add +3 to any saving throw!]
Brox WIS save 18
Brox looks around the cave, her divine energy canvassing the area, almost feeling for other creatures that may be hiding near the waterfall.
[OOC: Devine Sense: Until the end of your next turn, you can sense anything affected by the hallow spell or know the location of any celestial, fiend, undead within 60 ft. that is not behind total cover.]
You sense only the single ghost that you can see in front of you. It was definitely once a deep gnome, from long before the city first fell.
Oorr doesn't take any harmful action. He stays there arms crossed on his chest saying:"I greet you, spirit of Blindgenstone."
The ghost actually startles as none of you seem to blink at its appearance. Genuinely confused that none of you have run away from it, it darts away into a nearby burrow yelling out "They are coming! Everyone must hide!"
"hummm, I do not see anything else than this ghost... no danger here...Should we follow this weird gnome or just continue our travel ?"
Brox, although it has now gone beyond your normal sight, you still sense the single ghost narby. It seems to have entered into a burrow that once was a home of some sort, now crumbled into ruins, and is waiting there.
"I think the ghost is still nearby, in a burrow around the corner. Maybe he used to live here a long time ago? Maybe I can help him let go..." Brox follows Oorr and Grimnir.
You enter the burrow, and find what used to be a bedroom of some sort, in a small room of a larger building. The ghost sinks into the floor just as you come across the room, muttering incoherently as it does so. As it disappears you see the remains of a deep gnome, long dead, mostly just bones now, laying on the ground where the ghost disappeared. It's arm is stretched out, reaching for something unseen beneath an old stone bed.
Oorr checks what lies underneath the old stone bed.
It seems that whoever this was had been reaching for a compartment under the bed when they died. You open the compartment, and find a moldy pouch that contains 6 gems of various colors and a glass vial filled with some sort of potion.
Brox, you sense the ghost's presence still in the room, lingering within the bones. When you entered into Blingdenstone, you received a tour much like the others, and would have been told of the Ruby in the Rough temple, under which lie catacombs for the burial of the honored dead. This may be a good place to take these bones to give the ghost a final resting place, instead of the chaos of this area.
The rest of you peer about the room, but find nothing of obvious interest. You may take the stairs by the waterfall (up to Area 18) or continue following the cavern into the neighboring cave (Area 21), or backtrack slightly and crawl through a small fissure up into another unknown place (Area 19).
Grimnir leaves Oorr investigating the bedroom and Brox to the bones.
Looking around, Grimnir assesses the different paths. "Look, a waterfall ! I remember, when I was a kid, there was one close to the monastery. There was a little cave under where we were playing and keeping our treasures. Maybe there’s a treasure over there"
Brox bends down to the bones on the ground. "Hei there, I see you. I know you're scared. I will find a place for you, somewhere peaceful, where your soul can be released from this world. Would you like me to know your name? Is there anything else you wanted to pass on?"
Brox slowly starts packing up the bones and wrapping them in a white cloth, before stowing them in her backpack.

As you reverently stow the bones away, you sense the ghost remains in them, and a name enters your mind. Udhask.
A quick look around the waterfall reveals no hidden passageways behind it, but the stairs on either side rise about 30 feet to another ledge where the water is pouring down from. Climbing the stairs, you see the following:
A shallow, swiftly flowing stream bisects this cave. Crystalline formations sprout from the floor on both sides of the stream, and rough-hewn staircases at the back of the cave climb 30 feet to a barren stone ledge with a pair of winged statues perched atop it.
The winged statues on the ledge appear to be the end of the cavern, with no other visible exits.
Wis save with Aura of Protection: 15
OOC: Is this magical?
"There's no need for all this nonsense," I snap in Gnomish. "Just calm down and tell me what you're doing here."

A few moments pass by before you understand no one seems to be coming to the ghost's defense.
Brox, although it has now gone beyond your normal sight, you still sense the single ghost narby. It seems to have entered into a burrow that once was a home of some sort, now crumbled into ruins, and is waiting there.
"Oh... false alarm," Oorr says with a shrug of wings. "I would suggest following the ghost."
"Of we go then !". Grimnir follows the path that the ghost took, keeping an eye out for signs of danger.

Oorr takes the mouldy pouch.
"There is also a small passage over there. I don't know where it leads. Let's see the waterfall, then we can crawl down there."
Brox bends down to the bones on the ground. "Hei there, I see you. I know you're scared. I will find a place for you, somewhere peaceful, where your soul can be released from this world. Would you like me to know your name? Is there anything else you wanted to pass on?"

OOC Can Oorr tell if the winged statues are aarakocra?
