Del teases back Hey,it happened in their town, they get dibs. I told one of them to let you lot have the mole fight. Not gonna arrange my adventures to make it convenient for the songwriters. As for a name, we been together 5 days, it'll take time. I have an idea, but I don't want my friends reading it in this post hearing it in a song too soon. Some things it ain't gonna be: Raven's Raiders, the Squinty Squad, GalanoDel-Tones.
Is Lemmet Naica really the only secret problem at the school? Nothing else?
I'm not looking forward to that plot line developing. No legal training and 30 seconds at a trial, we come up with a solution and it turns out not to be perfect? That should not be the origin story of our nemesis. And uncle or cousin or whatever Reglan spreading fables, too. I want to get the more practical Naicas (such as they are) to think about the risk to their reputation. We've got missing kids and monsters from other planes to worry about.
Del will exchange some songs and get back to the stables to compare notes

Raven finds Hogthimble tending to the horses. Scholarship students are cleaning out the stables, and Hogthimble has the two farm kids helping out.
"HEROES don't do farm chores," the little boy grumbles.
When Raven asks about Naica, the scholarship students drop their pitchforks and enthusiastically tell the story of how Lemmet Naica tried to run away to Naica lands on his first night, and Dean Lonvari caught him, and Naica tried to fight him and was brought back unconscious.
"He'll be more careful about how he gets into trouble now," a student says. "I hear he's been looking into who on campus sells...umm...controlled substances."
"None of that is really surprising though, is it?" Raven asks with a shrug. "I mean, none of us really expected him to just meekly sit here and take the punishment..." She glances around. "You can't honestly tell me that the issues with him are the only things going on around here.... Can you?" She raises an eyebrow. "Come on, spill, what other big things are happening that I haven't heard about yet. Gold coin to who can tell me the biggest..." She holds up a gold coin.
"So, I was hoping you cold tell me about the newest student. How is he fairing? How much trouble has he gotten himself into?"Quentin asks while helping to make sure the squirrels don't steal his homework.
Raven and Del are disappointed, as the students struggle to come up with dirt to dish and are unable to tell you anything except a few student pranks and gossip about the teachers.

Beezger waves his hands despairingly. "Lemmet Naica is rude and obnoxious and just...impossible to get along with. His first night he tried to run away, and I wish he'd succeeded. The Watchers caught him, and when he was brought back and Dean Lonvari tried to talk to him, Lemmet threw a punch at him. He learned why you don't attack staff members, especially ex-adventurers. Then when he came back to the dorms, he decided he didn't like his room--well, it's ratty, but they all are--so he looked for the best one and found the room Wilger Mixel has been fixing up for the last three years and threw all Wilger's stuff out the window and moved in. Wilger said to let it go, but I think I'm angrier about it than he is. And he's just being nasty to everyone, and finding all the worst troublemakers to make friends of. Teydaar says he may have to punch Lemmet in the nose, so that some commoner or scholarship student doesn't have to and risk getting expelled."
---Mindartis and Elwin
Mindartis and Elwin struggle not to doze off on their feet as the wizard tour goes on. They stop at the Summoning Lab. "I think you will be very interested in the innovative new summoning circle we are testing in the Demon Room," says Mothander Simul, Head of Planar Physics, with great enthusiasm and misplaced optimism. "Don't worry, it should be quite safe, nobody is scheduled to be summoning today."
"Quite," says Lonvari. "When our Professor of Clairvoyance and Scrying informed us of your impending visit, and anticipating Mothander's desire to show off the circle, I made it quite clear to all the students that the summoning building was completely off limits for the day."
But when the door is opened, it becomes clear that ONE student disobeyed the order...a masked, black-cloaked gnome jumps in surprise and backs away as you enter, knocking over a candlestick. There is a sizzling, sputtering sound, and the glowing arcane circle goes dark...the circle that had been surrounding...a huge, hideous, ape-like demon.
"Hanali's bloomers," Lonvari gasps as the freed demon laughs, and scores of smaller demons bubble up around its feet. "Quick, we'll handle the fiend! Get the prince out of here! And for the love of Corellon, lock the door behind you!"
As the powerful wizards engage the Nalfeshnee, six Quasits flutter over their heads in bat form and come toward you!
Roll initiative, Elwin and Mindartis!

At the stables Del compares notes with Raven and makes small talk that will later be found to have been ironic Guess we found everything there is to know while the VIPs had their leisurely walk. I guess it's good not to keep his highness waiting, but they could hurry it up, don't you think?

Cold frost quickly formed on Elwin's body as he uttered the arcane incantation. He wanted to curse himself for not having his spear at the ready, but no--he reminded himself he had deliberately taken the risk of having to bring it forth, while on peaceful ground. That some student might summon a demon was something fairly hard to account for....
"Lintelér! Outside!" he yelled as he raised his shield and interposed himself--as far as he could tell--between the prince, and the oncoming creatures Mindartis was swinging at.
Quentin chuckles and says, “Fair enough. If you have any complaints try and send me a message. Right now we’re on a mission with the Prince but I’ll see if I can do anything. Don’t really have that much pull but I can cause a ruckus if I want to.”
